• Falcons hoard former 49ers TEs, sign Dwelley
Falcons signed TE Ross Dwelley, formerly of the 49ers.

Advice: The Falcons also signed Charlie Woerner earlier in the offseason, another former 49ers tight end. Both should serve as primary blockers behind and alongside the electric Kyle Pitts, who should have the best opportunity of his professional career for a true breakout season. • Valdes-Scantling visits with Bills on Monday
Former Chiefs WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling visited with the Bills Monday.

Advice: Valdes-Scantling previously visited with the Chargers, ultimately leaving without a contract, and found himself in Buffalo Monday to visit with the Bills. Josh Allen and the Bills found themselves without a vertical threat following the departure of Gabe Davis, something that likely prompted the visit with the team following the NFL Draft. Even so, Valdes-Scantling failed to fully capitalize on his opportunity in Kansas City and would likely generate more steam than is worth in fantasy circles should he land in Buffalo. • Titans agree to terms with TE Nick Vannett
Titans signed veteran TE Nick Vannett.

Advice: The two sides agreed to terms on Monday although the terms of the contract have not yet been made public. The eight-year veteran came into the league with the Seahawks in 2016, spending time with the Steelers, Broncos, Saints, Giants, and Chargers since departing Seattle. Vannett carries sparse fantasy value even though the Titans have little in the way of depth behind presumed starter Chigoziem Okonkwo. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:14 pm

  • Back with Denver
Dorsett signed with the Broncos on Monday after being released Friday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.

Advice: The wide receiver spent 2023 with Denver's practice squad, playing in two games and not catching any of his three targets. The 2015 first-round pick has just 21 receptions over the past four seasons with four different teams. Now he'll get a chance to stick with Denver on a depth chart that includes 12 wide receivers. • Broncos re-sign Phillip Dorsett
    Broncos re-signed WR Phillip Dorsett.

Advice: Dorsett was released by the Broncos late last week but is now back with the team after they waived two rookie UDFAs. Dorsett, 31, will presumably get a chance to earn a spot on the 53-man roster in training camp but hasn’t done much in the league over the last several years. He appeared in just two games last season but didn’t record a catch and has caught just 27 passes since 2021. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:26 pm

  • Inks deal with Atlanta
The Falcons signed Drummond on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Advice: The Eastern Michigan product was most recently with the Giants' practice squad, but he's now been given a new opportunity in Atlanta. Drummond's only in-game action came Week 5 of the 2023 NFL season with the Lions, playing a total of eight snaps and failing to record a single stat. Expect Drummond to compete for a depth role in Atlanta's wide receiver room as the offseason unfolds. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:45 pm

  • Traveling to Tennessee
The Titans signed Vannett on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Advice: The veteran tight end has spent time with six different teams across his eight-year career, and he's now headed to Nashville after agreeing to terms with the Titans. Vannett most recently played with the Chargers, tallying 125 offensive snaps across eight games and recording one reception for three yards in 2023. Expect the 31-year-old to compete for a depth role in Tennessee's tight end room as the offseason progresses. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:29 pm

  • Finds new home in Atlanta
The Falcons signed Dwelley (ankle) on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Advice: Dwelley finished last season on injured reserve after sustaining an ankle injury, but it now seems as if he's moved past the issue. After spending the first six seasons of his NFL career with the 49ers, the 29-year-old tight end has agreed to terms with the Falcons. Across his last three seasons, Dwelley has appeared in 41 games and made two starts, catching eight of his 12 targets for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Despite his underwhelming offensive production, the San Diego product has been a consistent contributor on special teams (619 snaps over the last three years), and he's expected to compete for a similar role in Atlanta. • Time up in Philly
The Eagles waived Togiai on Monday.

Advice: Togiai has spent the last three seasons on Philadelphia's practice squad, but he was elevated for only one game in 2023 and failed to record any stats. As Togiai now heads into his age-27 season, he will need to compete for a depth opportunity elsewhere in the league. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:54 am
