• Hot start to OTAs
Herbert (finger) has impressed early in OTAs during 11-on-11 drills and is already demonstrating a connection with rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Herbert looks fully recovered from the finger injury that cost him the final four games of 2023, and after losing both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams (knee) this offseason, it's encouraging to see him already establishing trust with McConkey. Even with new coach Jim Harbaugh installing a run-heavy scheme, Herbert should still provide strong passing numbers working with McConkey and returning wideouts Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnston. The addition of No. 5 overall pick Joe Alt, who's started at right tackle throughout OTAs, also promises more protection for Herbert, which should ease any adjustment to a new offensive philosophy. • On track for minicamp
Robinson (ankle) is on schedule to be ready for the start of the veteran minicamp June 10, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Robinson suffered an ankle injury during OTAs last Tuesday, but he's only dealing with a minor issue and will be back on the practice field June 10-12. In the meantime, Tyler Allgeier should take most of the starting reps in the backfield, while rookie Jase McClellan (foot) could benefit from expanded opportunities if he's able to get healthy before Robinson. With Kirk Cousins (Achilles) now at the helm of Atlanta's offense, Robinson will be a popular Year 2 breakout candidate in 2024 fantasy drafts. Rotowire.com Today, 8:47 am

  • On side field to start OTAs
Williams (knee) has not yet been cleared for football activities and is working on a side field at OTAs on Tuesday, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.

Advice: Williams went down to a left ACL tear in Week 3 last season while with the Chargers, so he was never a likely candidate to be ready for OTAs. The start of training camp in July could represent a better target for Williams, though the Jets haven't offered an official estimate for his return timeline. On the plus side, Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) is participating in OTAs without any setbacks, so Williams will be able to start building chemistry with his new quarterback as soon as he gains clearance. The big-bodied 29-year-old will complement top wideout Garrett Wilson as the No. 2 option for New York once healthy. Rotowire.com Today, 8:15 am

  • Participating in OTAs
Dell (leg) is on the field for the start of OTAs on Tuesday with no apparent limitations, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Advice: The wideout sustained a left leg wound as an innocent bystander during a shooting in late April, but Dell's already back on the practice field and running routes and seems to be an unrestricted participant to begin OTAs. The 2023 third-rounder has already recovered from the fibula injury he suffered last December, and he rejoins a wide receiver room that added Stefon Diggs as a trade acquisition and returns Nico Collins, Robert Woods, Noah Brown (shoulder) and John Metchie. • Tank Dell spotted at Texans OTAs
Tank Dell was seen participating at Texans OTAs.

Advice: It’s good news for the second-year wideout after suffering a horrific leg break last fall and sustaining a gun shot wound in April. Dell, who had 709 yards on 47 grabs in 11 games before his season-ending injury, could see reduced playing time in 2024 if the Texans are intent on getting newly-acquired WR Stefon Diggs on the field. Dell should remain an explosive weapon for an up-and-coming Houston passing attack led by C.J. Stroud. Rotoworld Today, 7:58 am

  • No limitations at OTAs, as expected
Coach Robert Saleh said Tuesday that Rodgers (Achilles) is "doing everything" at OTAs, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.

Advice: Rodgers was expected to be without restrictions at OTAs, but confirmation that he's been a full participant at practices so far is positive sign for the 40-year-old's recovery. While Rodgers' progress will still need to be monitored until he's resumed handling full contact activities, it's worth noting that he did manage to resume practicing with the Jets down the stretch of the 2023 season. • Saleh: No restrictions for Rodgers in OTAs
Jets head coach Robert Saleh said Aaron Rodgers has had no restrictions during OTAs.

Advice: Rodgers is “doing everything” with his teammates eight months after rupturing his Achilles tendon in the 2023 season opener. It’s hardly a surprise considering Rodgers was toying with the idea of returning to the field in December, just 90 days removed from his Achilles tear. If Rodgers, 40, stays upright in 2024, the Jets offense — paired with an elite defense — could be efficient enough to make the team a Super Bowl contender. Rotoworld Today, 7:49 am

  • Mike Williams not cleared for football activities
Mike Williams (ACL) has not been cleared for football activities.

Advice: It’s not a big surprise that Williams is working on the side during Jets OTAs, but it’s worth noting the veteran continues to recover from his 2023 ACL injury as we enter the summer months. Williams, entering his age-30 season, said in March he’ll be ready for the season opener. Williams will probably be a distant WR2 option behind Garrett Wilson in the New York offense. The aged Aaron Rodgers’ ability to throw downfield coming off an Achilles injury could determine just how much Williams is involved in 2024. Rotoworld Today, 7:45 am

  • Inks one-year deal in Pittsburgh
The Steelers signed Ward to a one-year contract Tuesday.

Advice: Ward handled a depth role across eight regular-season appearances with the Titans in 2023. He'll now get a chance to compete for a similar reserve spot in Pittsburgh, where Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren and Cordarrelle Patterson stand above him on the depth chart. Rotowire.com Today, 7:26 am
