Although they ended up with the No. 9 overall selection, Baker of Chains didn't flinch, building a roster capable of dominating any team in ChaunFL. The team is notably tough at the wide receiver position, as Michael Thomas, Julian Edelman, and D.J. Moore are slated to combine for the 3rd-highest point total of all starting WR groups in the league. Baker of Chains are predicted to finish with a record of 10-3 (2,457 points), earning them 1st place.

  • Mike Davis

Best Pick: What a great late-round bargain for Baker of Chains, who picked up Davis at No. 201, about six rounds later than his ADP of 127. After a season in which he rushed for 514 yards and 4 TDs and snagged 34 balls for 214 yards and 1 TD, totaling 137 fantasy points, Davis is projected to score 171 fantasy points with the Bears. That makes him a valuable No. 4 RB for this squad.

  • D.J. Moore

Stretch Pick: We're going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you took the dog out right before selecting Moore with the 9th pick in the 5th round, about 20 slots earlier than his ADP of 77. Granted, you may be onto something. Projected to score 223 fantasy points this season with the Panthers, he seems set to beat his rookie year when he snagged 55 passes for 788 yards and 2 TDs, totaling 163 fantasy points. Moore will slot in as the No. 3 WR for Baker of Chains, based on projected points.

Draft Notes

  • Week 6 will bring on a case of the Bye Week Blues for Baker of Chains, as they have six players on a bye, led by Andrew Luck, Derek Carr, and Mike Davis. Your Week 6 opponent, Shad Khan's Mustache, will have three players (Josh Allen, Nyheim Hines, and Jack Doyle) on a bye week.

  • For the first half of the season, Baker of Chains have one of the hardest schedules in ChaunFL based on projected records with an early-season strength of schedule ranked as the 3rd-most difficult. Even so, for the full season, Baker of Chains should expect a pretty fair schedule ranked as the 7th hardest.

  • Baker of Chains must prioritize experience over youth, assembling a lineup with an average of 6.2 years of NFL experience, ranking as the oldest group in the league. Case in point: they didn't select any of the 26 rookies drafted.

  • Despite offensive openings at QB and TE in the 6th round, Baker of Chains chose WR Alshon Jeffery with the 64th pick, filling the WR/RB/TE flex position rather than a higher leverage position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
