JPP'S Accident was able to invest the fifth pick well and looks positioned for some nice returns over the season. The proceeds from this draft include an overall projected finish of second in gmb League, as well an estimated 1,633 points and a record of 8-5-0. They aimed for having a roster with balance throughout, taking QB Russell Wilson (44th overall), RBs Le'Veon Bell (5th) and DeMarco Murray (20th), and WRs DeAndre Hopkins (29th) and Golden Tate (53rd). They built the worst QB tandem in the league, as they added Wilson and Andy Dalton to their squad.

JPP'S Accident should use Week 9 to consider life's deeper mysteries, like what was the greatest thing before sliced bread? No, seriously, think about it. It's better than thinking about fantasy football that week. They have six players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the entire season, they have one of the softest schedules. Along with the third-easiest overall schedule, both the first four games and last four games of the season are pretty average for JPP'S Accident.

Draft Notes

  • On Autopilot

Picking starting RBs should be an effortless exercise most weeks for JPP'S Accident, as there's a healthy projected point difference between their third-ranked (Todd Gurley) and fourth-ranked (Ryan Mathews) RBs.

  • Sky's the Limit

With four players projected to significantly beat their previous year's fantasy points, JPP'S Accident hopes to have found some up-and-coming stars.

  • I Keep Getting Older

And they stay the same age. JPP'S Accident isn't afraid to rob the cradle, drafting the youngest team in the league with an average of just 4.4 years of NFL experience.

  • A Dominating Duo

JPP'S Accident has a pair of fantasy MVPs in their lineup. Last season, two of their players (Le'Veon Bell and DeMarco Murray) finished among the top-20 players that were on the most first-place fantasy teams.

  • You Snooze, You Lose

While the rest of the league slept on Tyler Lockett, JPP'S Accident pounced on him at pick No. 173.

  • Bargain Shopper

With three steals in the first 10 rounds (Seattle, Jordan Cameron, and Russell Wilson), JPP'S Accident made some shrewd moves.

Player Analysis

    • Le'Veon Bell, RB
    • Round 1, Pick 5
    Bell is Hungry

And he'll get plenty of chances to feast this season, projected to rank fifth in the NFL with 312 touches.

    • DeMarco Murray, RB
    • Round 2, Pick 20
    Traditionalist

JPP'S Accident stuck to the tried-and-true fantasy strategy of going RB-RB to start the draft, nabbing Le'Veon Bell and DeMarco Murray right off the bat.

    • D. Hopkins, WR
    • Round 3, Pick 29
    Maybe Hopkins Will Surprise

Despite being an above-average player at his position, DeAndre Hopkins was the weakest value pick of the round.

    • Russell Wilson, QB
    • Round 4, Pick 44
    Knowing When to Take Off

He won't get too flashy in the passing game, but the ability to create with his legs makes Wilson a legitimate threat to NFL defenses -- and to future fantasy opponents of JPP'S Accident.

    • Allen Robinson, WR
    • Round 7, Pick 77
Was Allen Robinson Worth it at Pick No. 77?

JPP'S Accident sure hopes so. The Jaguars' WR is projected to put up 130 points this year, after only netting 69 last season.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent.
