The GM of Reggie Tales must be an angel, because this team looks like it fell from heaven. They were able to flip the ninth overall pick into an expected finish of first place with a record of 11-2-0 (2,062 points). They drafted five decent RBs for their roster. This group is projected to average 163 points this season, which is close the league average of 169. They put together the best group of WRs in the league, as they have Antonio Brown, Julio Jones, Pierre Garcon, and Doug Baldwin for their rotation.

Week 9 is not looking like a fun one for fantasy football. Reggie Tales should look into the joys of scrapbooking, or bird-watching, or just anything that isn't fantasy football. It might not be pretty. They have six players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Based on their opponents' projected points, they have the least difficult slate. Reggie Tales has the opportunity to start and finish with a flurry, as both the first four games and final four games of their season are projected to be less difficult than the league average.

Draft Notes

  • Separating the Wheat from the Chaff

At three different positions, Reggie Tales picked up projected top-3 players (Antonio Brown, Julio Jones, and Seattle).

  • Take One Play Off and He Burns You

Danny Woodhead is always a threat to break off a long one, ranking fourth among NFL RBs in percentage of touches over 40 yards (1.2%).

  • He Can Catch, Too

Danny Woodhead is a dual-threat back, racking up points on the ground and through the air. He ranks third among RBs with 526 projected receiving yards.

  • Did Stretch Armstrong Make That Pick?

Grabbing Jerick McKinnon at pick 184 was definitely a reach. McKinnon is owned on just a handful of teams across all Yahoo! leagues.

Player Analysis

    • Antonio Brown, WR
    • Round 1, Pick 9
    Hands Team

With sticky hands that would make Spider-Man jealous, Antonio Brown has serious value in all PPR leagues. He's projected to catch an NFL-leading 116 balls this year.

    • Julio Jones, WR
    • Round 2, Pick 16
Reggie Tales Says 'Hello' to Julio

Jones was the lone NFL player to notch 30 catches of at least 20 yards last season, and only Odell Beckham, Jr. averaged more receiving yards per game in 2014.

    • Jimmy Graham, TE
    • Round 3, Pick 33
Will a Run-Heavy Offense Hurt Production?

Reggie Tales sure hopes not. Though he might not put up New Orleans-esque numbers, Graham is almost certain to be one of Russell Wilson's favorite targets moving forward.

    • A. Ellington, RB
    • Round 4, Pick 40
    Stolen In Broad Daylight

Andre Ellington was the best value pick of the round and could be the cause of many sleepless nights for the other managers.

    • Chris Ivory, RB
    • Round 5, Pick 57
    Trigger Happy

With their fifth-round pick, Reggie Tales pulled the trigger. They drafted Chris Ivory at pick number 57 despite an ADP of just 92.3 across all Yahoo! leagues.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
