Thanks to a successful draft by the obviously skilled GM, FukDaPolice turned the not-so-favorable seventh overall pick into a projected finish of first. They're expected to go 11-3-0 (1,786 points) in OTC Football League 2015 League. They clearly wanted to put together a wide receiver corps early, using three of their first five selections on Dez Bryant (first round), Brandin Cooks (third round), and Davante Adams (fourth round). They built the bottom QB tandem in the league, as they added Eli Manning and Jay Cutler to their squad.
FukDaPolice might as well plan a vacation for Week 7. They have three players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the season as a whole, they have the least difficult schedule. Corresponding with the easiest overall schedule, FukDaPolice also has the easiest first four games of the season.
Draft Notes
-
A Dominating Pair
RB and WR are both projected to be really solid units for FukDaPolice.
-
Great Idea, Poor Execution
FukDaPolice will need a hand from the waiver wire in Week 10, as their only K (Adam Vinatieri) and only DEF (San Francisco) will both be on bye that week.
-
Aging Stars
The top half of the roster (from a projected points perspective) is relatively old (ranked No. 2 in the league with an average of 8.4 years of NFL experience), whereas the bottom half is fairly young (ranked No. 11 with 3.7 years).
-
Officially Mediocre
While the bottom half of the FukDaPolice roster is one of the strongest in the league (projected to be No. 3), the top of the roster is among the weakest (ranked No. 11).
-
A Pair of Proven Winners
FukDaPolice has a couple of fantasy MVPs in their lineup. Last season, two of their players (Matt Forte and Arian Foster) finished among the top-20 players that were on the most first-place fantasy teams.
-
Biggest Steal
FukDaPolice may have found a gem in the ninth round, grabbing Adam Vinatieri (103rd overall pick vs. ADP of 81.9).
Player Analysis
-
- Dez Bryant, WR
- Round 1, Pick 7
The Power of PersuasionNow would be a reasonable time for FukDaPolice to encourage the OTC Football League 2015 League to raise the value of receptions. They snagged Dez Bryant and his 87 projected catches (ranked 10th in the NFL).
-
- Matt Forte, RB
- Round 2, Pick 18
The Back to TargetIt's hard to ignore just how involved Forte is in Chicago's offensive scheme. He led all RBs with 130 total targets in 2014 -- more than DeMarco Murray (64) and Jamaal Charles (59) combined.
-
- Davante Adams, WR
- Round 4, Pick 42
Trigger HappyWith their fourth-round pick, FukDaPolice pulled the trigger. They drafted Davante Adams at pick number 42 despite an ADP of just 82 across all Yahoo! leagues.
-
- Golden Tate, WR
- Round 5, Pick 55
Which Do You Want First, the Good News or the Bad?Despite being an above-average player at his position, Golden Tate was the weakest value pick of the round.
-
- Eli Manning, QB
- Round 6, Pick 66
Arm CannonEli Manning is one of the most dynamic NFL QBs. Projections have him ranking second in plays over 40 yards with 11.9 and TDs over 40 yards with 4.6.
Best Available
FukDaPolice has four positions that may need to be addressed at some point, including DEF and TE, which look like the biggest areas of need.

How We Grade
Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent.
