Coinciding with a juicy draft position (second overall), Balls Deep had an outstanding performance. They're projected to finish second in The Vagina Monoleague League with a record of 10-4-0 (1,397 points). They went all-in on running backs early, using their first three selections to grab Jamaal Charles (2nd overall), Bishop Sankey (19th), and Andre Ellington (22nd). They built the highest-scoring group of WRs in the league, as they have Cordarrelle Patterson, Percy Harvin, and Larry Fitzgerald on the roster.

Whether by good fortune or well-planned strategy, Balls Deep has secured a favorable bye week schedule for their superstars. Of their top five players in projected points, none share a common off week. Looking at the season as a whole, they have a more-challenging-than-average slate. In addition to having the fourth-most grueling overall schedule, Balls Deep also has the second-most difficult last four games of the season.

Draft Notes

  • Highlight Reel

Balls Deep is loaded at WR, but RB isn't too shabby, either.

  • Separating the Wheat from the Chaff

At three different positions, Balls Deep picked up projected top-two players (Jamaal Charles, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Percy Harvin).

  • On the Rise

Balls Deep hopes to break through this season, led by four players who are projected to significantly exceed their fantasy points from last season.

  • Patterson is More of a Full-Service Guy

Rodney Dangerfield claimed he once went to a massage parlor that was self-service. With 227 projected fantasy points this year, Cordarrelle Patterson should serve Balls Deep a little better than that.

Player Analysis

    • Jamaal Charles, RB
    • Round 1, Pick 2
Does Jamaal Charles Enjoy Gourmet Cuisine?

Because his projected yardage figures are tasty. Charles is ranked second in the league with 1,723 all-purpose yards.

    • Bishop Sankey, RB
    • Round 2, Pick 19
    Traditionalist

Balls Deep stuck to the tried-and-true fantasy strategy of going RB-RB to start the draft, nabbing Jamaal Charles and Bishop Sankey right off the bat.

    • A. Ellington, RB
    • Round 3, Pick 22
    Mr. Do-It-All

Andre Ellington is projected to finish sixth in the league with 1,503 total yards (1,032 rushing, 471 receiving).

    • Nick Foles, QB
    • Round 4, Pick 39
    A Super Duper Signal-Caller

Nick Foles is projected to rack up 354 points this year, enough to rank fifth among all QBs.

    • Percy Harvin, WR
    • Round 5, Pick 42
    Returning to Greatness

If special teams contributions count in The Vagina Monoleague League, Balls Deep may have found a gem in Percy Harvin. Including his 788 projected return yards, he ranks third in the league with 1,708 all-purpose yards.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent.
