Collusion might be the only way to stop T.Y. Very Much this year, as they are projected to finish with a record of 12-1-0; good enough for first in Stampede Blue League 5 League. They aimed for having a roster with balance throughout, taking QB Matt Ryan (50th overall), RBs Jamaal Charles (2nd) and Arian Foster (26th), and WRs Alshon Jeffery (23rd) and Cordarrelle Patterson (47th). They ended up with the best RB combo in the league, as they added Charles and Foster to the team.

T.Y. Very Much can chalk up Week 4 as a big fat L. They have five players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the season as a whole, they have the easiest slate. Along with the easiest overall schedule, both the first four games and last four games of the season are about league-average difficulty for T.Y. Very Much.

Draft Notes

  • On Autopilot

Choosing which WRs to start should be pretty obvious most weeks for T.Y. Very Much, as projections show a healthy point difference between their third-ranked (Cordarrelle Patterson) and fourth-ranked (Doug Baldwin) wideouts.

  • Nearly There

The top half of the T.Y. Very Much roster is one of the strongest in the league (ranked No. 2). However, the bottom of the roster is among the weakest (ranked No. 10).

  • A Pair of Proven Winners

T.Y. Very Much has a couple of fantasy MVPs in their lineup. Last season, two of their players (Jamaal Charles and Alshon Jeffery) finished among the top-20 players that were on the most first-place fantasy teams.

  • You Snooze, You Lose

While the rest of the league slept on Andre Williams, T.Y. Very Much pounced on him at pick No. 170.

  • Bargain Shopper

With three steals in the first 10 rounds (Carolina, Matt Prater, and Greg Olsen), T.Y. Very Much made some shrewd moves.

  • A Stretch of the Imagination

Grabbing Ronnie Hillman at pick 191 was, let's say, conceptually adventurous. Hillman is owned on just a handful of teams across all Yahoo! leagues.

Player Analysis

    • Jamaal Charles, RB
    • Round 1, Pick 2
2014 Could be More of the Same

Owners who took a chance on Charles last season were rewarded handsomely, as he was owned on more playoff rosters across Yahoo! than any other RB.

    • Alshon Jeffery, WR
    • Round 2, Pick 23
257 Excuses to Cheer for Alshon Jeffery

Jeffery ranks eighth in the Stampede Blue League 5 League among wideouts with 257 projected fantasy points.

    • Arian Foster, RB
    • Round 3, Pick 26
    Stolen In Broad Daylight

Arian Foster was the best value pick of the round and could be the cause of many sleepless nights for the other managers.

    • C. Patterson, WR
    • Round 4, Pick 47
    Returning to Greatness

If special teams contributions count in Stampede Blue League 5 League, T.Y. Very Much may have found a gem in Cordarrelle Patterson. Including his 863 projected return yards, he ranks first in the league with 1,866 all-purpose yards.

    • Matt Ryan, QB
    • Round 5, Pick 50
    A Super Duper Signal-Caller

Matt Ryan is projected to rack up 398 points this year, enough to rank fifth among all QBs.

Best Available

T.Y. Very Much has a couple positions they may look to upgrade (WR and TE), but WR is the area they'll want to focus their attention first.

    • Kenny Stills
    • Rank 129, ADP 131
    • Aaron Dobson
    • Rank 141, ADP 127
    • Kenny Britt
    • Rank 143, ADP 130
    • Andrew Hawkins
    • Rank 150, ADP 126

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
