A late round draft pick would fluster the novice fantasy football manager, but this was obviously not the first rodeo for Space Cowboys. They were able to flip the ninth overall pick into an expected finish of second place with a record of 10-4-0 (1,371 points). They went with a balanced approach early, selecting QB Aaron Rodgers (12th overall), RB Montee Ball (9th), WR Alshon Jeffery (29th), and TE Rob Gronkowski (32nd) within the first five rounds. They landed the worst group of RBs in the league, as they have Ball, Ryan Mathews, Ray Rice, and Bishop Sankey for their rotation.
Space Cowboys should use Week 10 to consider life's great mysteries, like why is there only one word for thesaurus? That's still better time spent than checking fantasy football that week. They have four players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the season as a whole, they have the weakest slate. Corresponding with the easiest overall schedule, Space Cowboys also has the second-softest last four games of the season.

How We Grade
Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
