Kromer's Kromies proved on draft day that when the lights come on, they perform, building a strong team capable of beating anyone on the schedule. They are expected to finish first in MB's Misfits League with a record of 10-3-0 (1,812 points). They aimed for having a roster with balance throughout, taking QB Peyton Manning (4th overall), RBs Marshawn Lynch (13th) and Toby Gerhart (36th), and WRs Antonio Brown (20th) and Randall Cobb (29th). They landed the worst group of WRs in the league, as they have Brown, Cobb, Andre Johnson, and Josh Gordon on their team.

Kromer's Kromies should just disappear for a while during Week 4. They have three players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Based on their opponents' projected points, they have the least challenging slate. Corresponding with the easiest overall schedule, Kromer's Kromies also has the second-softest last four games of the season.

Draft Notes

  • Highlight Reel

Kromer's Kromies is stacked at QB, but DEF isn't too shabby, either.

  • In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb

The GM of Kromer's Kromies must have had to leave their draft party early. After tallying the most projected points in the league over the draft's first half, they racked up the fewest during the second half.

  • AARP Card's in the Mail

With an average of 9.3 years of NFL experience, Kromer's Kromies is the team most likely to have a player qualify for a senior citizen discount.

  • You Almost Got It Right

The top half of the Kromer's Kromies roster is one of the strongest in the league (projected to be No. 1). The bottom of the roster, unfortunately, is rated as the league's weakest.

  • Full Control Early On

Kromer's Kromies began things with a bang, nabbing the most projected points in the league during the draft's first half.

  • No Back-Up No Cry

Ignoring roster depth, Kromer's Kromies chose only one player at four different positions (QB, TE, DEF, and K).

Player Analysis

    • Peyton Manning, QB
    • Round 1, Pick 4
    Fantasy is Better Than Reality

Even though he fell short in Super Bowl 48, Peyton Manning was more likely to be owned on a 2013 Yahoo! championship roster than any other QB.

    • Marshawn Lynch, RB
    • Round 2, Pick 13
Feel the Rhythm, Feel the Rhyme

Get on up, it's Marshawn Lynch time! He's predicted to run cool this season with 211 projected points.

    • Antonio Brown, WR
    • Round 3, Pick 20
    The Power of Persuasion

Now would be a reasonable time for Kromer's Kromies to encourage the MB's Misfits League to increase the value of receptions. They grabbed Antonio Brown and his 95 projected catches (ranked fourth in the NFL).

    • Toby Gerhart, RB
    • Round 5, Pick 36
    Yardage Machine

Toby Gerhart is projected to tally 1,116 yards on the ground, placing him at eighth in the NFL in that category.

    • R. Jennings, RB
    • Round 6, Pick 45
Was the 45th Pick the Right Time for Rashad Jennings?

Kromer's Kromies apparently believes it is. The Giants' running back is projected to net 165 points this year, after putting up 142 last year.

Best Available

While Kromer's Kromies is expected to be weak across four positions, WR is definitely their worst unit and an area of need.

    • Mike Wallace
    • Rank 69, ADP 82
    • Kendall Wright
    • Rank 73, ADP 84
    • Marques Colston
    • Rank 74, ADP 80
    • Golden Tate
    • Rank 82, ADP 96

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
