Re: Ratings Glitch: Even with the population factor increased by a factor of 3, the percentile is off a bit. After going through a small number of data points in five fan rooms, I was able to calculate and see that the percentile is inaccurate to an extent. Two data points I have are listed rank 1537 (adjusted true rank 513) in the 99th percentile and listed rank 1570 (adjusted true rank 524) in the 98th percentile. Problem is my last update in week 8 had the 99th to 98th percentile cutoff at 556 to 557. Converting that into glitched rankings would put that at 1666 and 1669. That is also not taking into account of people joining in from week 8 to 9. I estimate that would push the cutoff at somewhere between 561-564. Converting that into glitched rankings would yield 1681 to 1690. Unfortunately, even with the population increase by a factor of 3 the cutoff was somehow lowered. At higher rankings the percentile would be very close to almost accurate but as you go lower down the glitched ranks the error will compound and will be really off from the correct percentile. With that in mind, I can't do an accurate percentile cutoff or even population estimate which I base off the percentile data.
