2nd Season Vegas Dynasty League

Rules:

Only 1 team per manager (anyone using multiple teams would be booted)

Fair play practices (Play by league rules, scoring, and point systems with the intent of keeping the game fair always.)

If not returning next season, please advise promptly so we may continue to have a fair game.

Fair is not always balanced if someone is performing well or have acquired a superior team through skill or luck does not make the game unfair.

Trades are based off solely collusion. “bad” trades to those not involved does not mean it is for those teams trying to manage their team.

The system:

Auction points (points) and players

Beginning of season 1 all teams receive 550 auction points (points) to be used to purchase players

550 points is based of an average player of 20 points on a 26 man roster.

In the event the roster sizes change the total points may change accordingly unless there is a consensus for a different structure

After the initial auction all extra points will be kept for waiver acquisitions, future trades, or potentially for saving

Once you purchase a player the auction points are removed from your bankroll and will not be replenished until the season is complete

If you drop a player, you will not get points returned

As a 2nd season change. If a player is traded the FAAB budget is not affected. (That process was a huge pain in the ass for me and I think confused a lot of teams.)

However, the players purchase price will be carried over for following season FAAB

Points can also be traded either for a player or with a trade. You will have to publicly announce that as part of the trade

At the end of the season 50% of points unused below 550 will be applied towards the following season rounded up to the nearest whole point.

Example: (based on a 550 auction points) spend 375 in draft and 50 in waivers and trades. Would leave a balance of 125 points. 125 / 2 = 62.5 rounded to 63 points would apply towards next season.

Following season would allow you the 550 team plus 63 for 613 points. After spending 450 in redraft and keepers and 150 for waivers and trades would leave a balance of 13 points at end of season. However, the team total point usage would be 600 points. The following draft would have to reset to 550 for keepers and redraft.

This rule would allow a boost for a manager that is able to manage their points more efficiently however limit the ability to stockpile an enormous amount of points.

Points would be counted before selecting keepers for the next season.

Keepers

Unlimited Players may be kept. Starting with season 3 (Change from Previous 14)

Kept players point cost will go up by 5 points each season.

Example purchased player in season 1 for 30 points. In order to keep player, it would cost 35 points for the same player. The following year it would increase by 5 again making it 40 points, ect.

Points are added to players at the time of keeping the player

A player that was a waiver pick up of 0 FAAB would be a keeper for 5 (0 + 5 Keeper cost)

Players FAAB budget will be the most they were allocated during the following season.

Example: player A is drafted at 20 FAAB is dropped during the season and is picked up off waivers for 30 FAAB and dropped again and picked up for 0 FAAB his value going into next season would be 30 (plus the 5 additional for keeping as with all players)

This contest is a pickem amongst our league only and not an NFL Pickem contest

1st place receives additional 100 FAAB

2nd place receives additional 50 FAAB

3rd place receives additional 25 FAAB
