  • 1st off, I just realized AJ Green is THE ONLY player on my team that I drafted. Pretty much my ENTIRE TEAM... all 12 players I either added off waivers or Free Agent pool or traded for.

    2nd off... more importantly tonight/Monday Night football is the end of our regular season. Playoffs start Tuesday.

    8 of the 16 teams make it. 5 managers have clinched playoff spots, however...

    ...we have 4 teams tied at 6-6 and a 5th manager at 5-6-1 (tie). So 5 teams have all come down to MNF for 3 spots. The first interesting nugget is 2 of the 4 divisions are headed by 6-6 teams and each division winner is guaranteed an automatic playoff spot. So if two 6-6 teams lose atop one division even if the other 3 win, one of those 6-7 teams makes it.

    Top top it off... of those 6-6 teams... THRILLHOUSE at 5-6-1 will leapfrog any/all 6-6 teams IF he wins his match. (6-6-1 6-7)

    Probably the best end of the REGULAR season we've had in our 8 years competing. And all 5 teams in contention have MNFootball players tonight!

  • So this off-season I experimented with moving the WAIVER PERIOD from the traditional "2" days (like we've done for 8 years) to "3" days to give people more time to check out who they'd want to pick up and since not everyone can check their team on a daily or bi-daily period.

    HOWEVER with THURSDAY NIGHT GAMES being a permanent fixture this season... not being to add ANYONE until Thursday is pretty terrible.

    I will be moving the waiver period back to 2 days BUT I will wait until after this weeks waiver period (THURS) to do so, so it's fair on everyone.

  • So it looks like there's a coupla close matchups tonight...

    Me and Marcus have only 1pt between us with his FALCONS "D" going tonight and I've got Geno Smith left...

    Jeff and Chester are in a tight battle

    ...and Casner at 0-3 is looking to get his 1st win of the season against 3-0 Alex who might be handed his first loss...

    I really regret adding M.Brown instead of T.Williams on Sat as my last FA pickup WR. Brown sat out while Williams dropped 24pts :-(

  • Hello everyone. There has been a problem with YAHOO the past week or so and 6 people haven't been able to sign-up despite trying to due to some error with AOL. I will be continuing to contact YAHOO cause of this. As a result I have to push the draft to Weds.
