Retired Texan wins first HPFL title!!!!
It may have taken 20 seasons but it sure was sweet as the Old Austin team who made it rain by taking down House of Pain 404=325. The big winner for the Retired team was his IDP's lead by LB JJ Watts[42 pts.] and S B.Baker[34 pts.]. The Texan IDP's out played the Pain 228-152 and Watts stellar Saturday evening was cut short with a 3rd Qt injury. RB J.Mixon lead the Texans O along with QB J.Goff[ 62 pts.]. B.Cook lead the WR's with 19 tallies. On the House side RB B.Hall posted the most points of any player with 66 points. Five Pain players didn't play but that wasn't out of the ordinary for Pazsky this season. QB G Smith sub for a resting P.Maholmes and had 47 points. Great job to both teams and again was sure nice to see the Texans win his first HPFL Championship.
The 25 HPFL season of Champions....
99-Jason team the Rhode Island Tidal Waves was hands down the best that year!
00-Deron team the Gamebreakers battled both my team and Gaffs to win a close season.
01-Mesa came back to win his first HPFL Championship.
02-The Cape beat out my friend Jim A. AKA The Tahoe Waterboys.
03-Moved the league to CBS because SB wanted money from each team owner. The Wisconsin RedRaiders were crowned Champs beating Dave Campbell's Turf Cruncher.
04-Came to Yahoo were Big Air's Luzerne pulled the big upset over Barkers 209-200.
05-Top two team battled for the ring with Mesa winning his second HPFL crown 223-179 over Disaster.
06-Baton upset last years best team Cruisaders 309-210 to win my second HPFL ring!
07-Phantom kept Mesa from his third title with a 331-261 Rider Championship.
08-Phantom became the first back to back champion taking down #1 seed Cowboys 419-298.
09-Piglet rock the Cruisaders in their first of two meeting in HPFL title game 411-355.
2010-Piglet equaled the Riders repeat as 1 vs 2 and the Cruisaders fell again 438-409.
2011-Newcomer Satan won a wild Championship game over Anne 376-345 as each upset higher seeds to make it to the HPFL Super Bowl.
2012- Anne won her first HPFL title 450-386 over the Cruisaders.
2013-Satan beat RGV 377-374 in the closest HPFL Super Bowl to date. The Beach Party won his 2nd title 3 seasons.
2014-Phantom became he first HPFL team to win 3 HPFL titles downing Piglet Posse 353-297.
2015-Mesa ties Phantom at 3 HPFL titles with a 419-347 victory over Satan who was also looking for his 3rd title.
2016-On the Cruisaders 5th Super Bowl turns out to be the one beating Piglet Posse 356-304 stopping the Posse's 3rd HPFL title. The Saders also avenged the 2009 SB loss to Piglet.
2017-The Skins who taken over the franchise of the Phantom Rider posted his first HPFL title beating RGV 432-267.
2018-Baton ties Phantom and Mesa with 3 HPFL titles beating Mesa 427-382. The will halted Gaffs march to 4 titles.
2019- Lightning Bolts win his first HPFL Super Bowl by out scoring the Skins 462-458 and post the most points scored in a title game.
2020-Baton stops RGV 481-408 to win the league leading 4th Title and beat the most points scored in a SB.
2021-Lightning Bolts beat the Skins for the Bolts 2nd HPFL title in 3 seasons 343-330.
2022-Titans knock off top seed Dragons to win first HPFL title 408-347.
2023-Retired Texans used outstand IDP's to win first HPFL title over House of Pain 404-325.
A reminder Gaff won the picks 79-48 with Luc 2 games back at 77-50. Gaff will pick first in next season draft. Here is next season order of draft with Mesa picking first unless he wants a different position.

WEEK 17..... Higher Power 25th Championship!
Well another season near the end. This will be the 25th when today comes to an end. These two teams [ House & Retired] reach this contest each winning their division. The Texans battle the top teams to maneuver to this game. The Pain came in the back door, but it has worked, nevertheless. Each have a far deferent history here in the HPFL. The House entered the league two seasons ago. Making the play-offs for the first time this season. In the two years each has one win between the two. In 2022 The Texans lost to the House[ Aka Pazsky's] 400-325. Both had rough season with Pazsky's finishing 3-12 and the Texans 4-11. This season Retired beat the Pain Week 8 446-386. Both teams QB's Maholmes[38 pts.] and Goff[49 pts.] were so so. The money players for the Texans came from his RB's going 70-22 behind McCaffery[40 pts.] and Mixon[30 pts.]. Both had standouts on receivers with Aiyuk checking in with 31 tallies for the Texans and 42 tallies for House J.Waddle. TE Njoku as he done all season had a nice game with 32 points for the Pain. Both IDP's played the same with strong showings with the Retired team getting by 208-199.
Now the history portion of this. The Retired team has been in the HPFL going back to the first day's here on Yahoo[ 2004] and that is 20 seasons. No small feat! Only Baton and Mesa has been longer. Clark is the only other team as long a tenure as the old Austin team [ Retired / RGV]. That being said there is very few teams that has had the history that the Texans have had in the HPFL. Matter of fact the Retired/Austin/RGV teams have reached the post season 10 times with 7 semifinal games. The Texans finished the regular season as a top seed one time and a second 2 times. Retired reached three HPFL Super Bowls in 2013, 2017 and 2020. Now to win a Championship you have to play in one. The Cruisaders fell in his first three title games before winning in 2016 over Piglet. That is where the Retired team finds his self-looking to win his first title in his 4th try.
Now for the game.....#2 Retired Texans 13-4 vs #4 House of Pain 8-9....QB's are always big in fantasy and it looks like P.Maholmes will not play[ankle] and back up G.Smith is up for the Pain. The Good news Smith is fighting for the final play-off spot in the NFC @Arz. The Retired QB Goff is at home vs the Vikings but the big question how long will he play? Other players not playing are LB K.Murry[ shoulder], DB L.Sneed[Calf], RB A.Dillon[ neck]WR's A.Wood[ankle] and J.Waddle[ankle] for the Pain. Out for the Texans RB McCaffery[calf] and lost LB JT Watts[ 42 pts.] MCL in the 3rd Q Saturday. Another question mark is TE Njoku[ankle/sick] who had little no practice time this week so he may see little playing time for the play-off bound Browns. Both teams IDP's look very good with only Retirees DB Poyer being the only player for sure play-off bound. On the O side Texans WR's B.Cook and Metcalf teams are in play-off musts. Aiyuk is a question how long 49ers let him play as well. RB's B.Hall vs Mixon will be big.
There is not much on the bench for the House to fill in the open spots and the WW is thin. Retired has a bench if forced to go before game times. The House somehow has navigated the season without a WW pick up and left his team unattended for all of December and two play-off games. So I will not say he will not win this game because he has defied that to this point. He beaten Mesa and Lightning two very good teams. Retired has his best opportunely to win his first HPFL Title and the ducks seem to be lineup. Sunday night hopefully we will know. But this has been a wild and strange season. Just a note the closest final HPFL Super Bowl came in 2013 and RGV[Retired] lost to Satan 377-374 a real hart breaker loss for the Texans. The Next closest was in 2004 with Big Air getting by Barkers 209-200.

WEEK 17 Divisional Play-off Weekend Results....
Happy New Year all!!! I hope each of you have a great 2024!
The 2023 HPFL season has been a wild and odd season. So many QB going down and yes other players as well. Being a odd season continued into the play-offs. More non that later.
Still the first play-off game last week between Retired who just got by Baton the week before 410-396 faced Vinny who blasted Satan 516-431. You would have thought two teams that had high scoring teams. Vinny had just 6 weeks scoring under 400 points. The Retired team was the second highest scoring team in the league at 6,677 for an average of 417 a week. But this week both teams struggled with the Texans winning 421-261. Only one time did the Crusaders score this low all season. Both O's had bad weeks, but the old Austin team was better with WR B.Aiyuk saving his best for the play-offs posting 40 points. The bad news RB C.McCaffrey left the game with 21 tallies and will miss the HPFL Super Bowl this week. The Texans did his most damage on the D side out playing the Crusaders IDP's 215-127. DB's J.Bates[40 pts.] and J.Poyer[34 pts.] lead the Retired IDP's. Vinny had a great season but having 7 players score under 10 points no one saw that coming.
In the other game that will provide the team to face Retired Texans in the HPFL Super Bowl had Lightning and the House battle. Now here the odd and wild thing comes in. Both these teams came into this contest on deferent planes of excitants. Yes week 15 the Bolts just got by the Pain team 411-402. But the Bolts came into this contest the top seed with a record of 12-4. The Pain was 7-9 and scored 5,794 on the season. The Bolts had the most in the HPFL with 5,794. Lightning had won 9 0f his last 11 games with a play-off win over the Cruisaders. House had backed into the post season with a 3-9 record to win the Anne division with a 6-9 record tied with the Dragons and the other two Anne division teams were 5-10. I guess it better to be lucky than good. But then the Pain beat Mesa in the first round of the post season. Gaff had won 7 of his last 8 weeks. The Pain won last week's game over the Hair 366-320. The Mesa team lowest scoring game was 347 and Gaff averaged 400 points a week. Yes the Hair lost QB Herbert in week 14 and that was a killer come the post season. But even with all this the House of Pain has been on auto pilot going back to Thanksgiving till January 1st.
I Put this off because Yahoo has not posted stat corrections for week 16 yet, The Pain won 388-379 and there have been two games that corrected 8 and 9 points this season. That looks to be a bridge to far for the Bolts. The House on the O side was lead by TE D.Njoku on TNF with 38 points. Also RB B.Hall ran for 39 tallies. WR C.Lamb did his best on Saturday night with 89 points for the Bolts. There so much about this game that went the Pains way. Getting away with 3 player on the bench[Waddle, Campbell and Murray]. The Bolts having DE Koonce[ 6 pts.] leaving the game in the first haft[elbow injury] and the Lighting team changing kicker from J.Sanders[ 8 pts.] to L.Havrisik[0 pts.] who the Rams waved this week. Two Miami players didn't help Lightning S B.Jones scoring no points as the Dolphins played S D.Elliott who had 33 tallies after not posting anything over 10 points in 8 weeks. The other Miami player RB R.Mostert sat injured with no points. Bolts also Waved TE Conklin[14 pts.] for TE Thomas[7 pts.] and DE Madubuike[18 pts.] for Koonces[6 pts.]. It can be the little things and right now the House of Pain seems to be getting them all.
Gaff had a 77-47 record going into this week[2 games to be picked]. Luc was a game back at 76-48. Frank was 3 games back at 74-50. Gaff went 1-1 and luck and Frank was 0-2. Gaff is now 78-48 two games ahead of Luc 76-50. With just the Super Bowl left Gaff has won the picks and the right to move up from his 11th draft spot to the top spot if he wishes in 2024 HPFL draft. Nice job to all three of you!

WEEK 17 Divisional Play-off Weekend Picks
Last season of the 8 teams to make the post season three[Lightning, Vinny and Baton reached the play-off this season. Yahoo picked Baton,Titan,Skins and House as division winners. The House was the only team picked right. The Wildcard teams yahoo picked were Retired,Vinny, Cruisaders and Mesa. All four did make the postseason and two won their division.
#1 Lightning 12-4 vs #4 House 7-9....The Bolts had a battle in week 15 with the Pain 411-402 to move all time 2-0. RB J.Cook saved the day for the Bolts running to 69 points and WR J.Addison checked in with 45. The House had WR J.Waddle post 54 tallies and TE D.Njoku with 45. Right now it looks like Addison[ankle] and Waddle[ankle] will not play this weekend.
RB R.Mostert[leg] might play for Bolts and more then likley LB D.Campbell[neck], DB L.Sneed[calf] and three other IDP's[ could miss this week if thing don't turn around the next few day. The Bolts made some big moves off the WW this week with LB K.Hutson, S B.Jones, LB S.Leonard, DE M.Koonce and TE L.Thomas being picked and will start. This one comes down to injuries, can the Pain O stay ahead the Bolts and who can come up big on the D side.
#2 Retired 12-4 vs #3 Vinny 12-4....The Crusaders tock a big hit with WR A.Cooper being sideline on TNF. Both QB's could be in for a long weekend with Vinny's Allen looking at a run first against NE. Goff will be in Dallas for the Texans and that could spell big trouble. This season the Texans made roadkill out of the Crusaders 448-213 in week 13. Both teams had a number of players on bye week or injured. Wr D.Metcalf had a weekend to remember with 62 points for the Retired team. RB J.Mixon ran for 40 points with C.McCaffrey noching 35. Retired has a 3-2 mark all time vs Vinny. Both side of the ball these two are very closes but the loss of Cooper gives the Texan a advantage. Also the Texans IDP's have some great match up's. Still Vinny can get hot and Retired did play down last week and almost lost to Baton.

WEEK 16 Results....Division winners move on!
Well the champs of each division will battle it out in the Division Championship Play-off weekend. Only surprise was The House of Pains win over Mesa. Sunday in looked like only Vinny was safe but Monday pushed Lightning and Retired over the top.
Lightning used two Cowboys QB D.Prescott[54 pts.] and WR C.Lamb[49 pts.] to beat the Cruisaders 427-314. The Saders were hurt by QB A.O'Connell poor showing with 13 points. The Bolts season could hinge on if WR A.Addison[5 pts.] and RB A.Mostert[16 pts.] can play on week 17. It looked like a great move[WW] pick up] would push Luc to an upset on TNF as WR D.Robinson had 28 tallies. But it wasn't to be for Saders. The Bolts will need to look for IDP help with the loss of LB E.Robert[5pts.].
The Retired team got past the Storm 410-396. It wasn't till late Christmas night in the 49er/Raven game. RB B.Aiyuc[ 33 pts.] and RB C.McCaffrey[46 pts.] sealed the 410-396 win. The Storm finsined the season as it had most the season with the O posting5 players with 10 points or less. The Texan IDP's for the most off set the great Baton D only loss that stat 213-209. LB B.Wagner had a great weekend with 44 points.
Vinny had little trouble sending the Dark Lord back to hell 516-431. The Crusaders exorcisms of Satan WR's was the big note in this one with Vinny posting a 178-59 mark. WR A.Cooper had a big Christmas eve with 103 points. TE G.Kittle piled on with 40 points MN. Three injuries hurt the Party but no more then RB I.Pacheco who left the game with 13 points.
The big upset was the House taking down the red hot Mesa team 364-320. The Hair has scored only one other point total under 320 this season. Gaff fall came three weeks ago when he lost QB J.Herbert. But QB Mullens came off the WW to post a 72 point Sunday. Mesa had 5 players post 9 points or less. The House was even worst with 8 players under 8 points. Gaff's IDp's that had been so good all season could only manage a 169-135 advantage. Lead by LB A.Singleton[43 pts.] who was highest point producers for the Hair with the exception of Mullens. The killer was the games RB B.Hall[62 pts.] had for the House. The weekend Hall had bested his last 4 weeks combined. The key injurie here was for the House that WR J.Waddle had in the Boys/Miami game for the Pain team.
Gaff had a big Christmas weekend on the picks going 3-1. The Mesa team moves a win ahead of the Saders with 3 picks left in the season. Luc is 76-48 with Gaff at 77-47 fallowed by Frank at 74-50. Frank tied Gaff in the week 17 picks at 3-1. The tie breaker is weeks won and Luc holds a 3-2 mark over Gaff in weeks won without tying another team. The next tie breaker is highest pick in a week[Such as picking [out of 8] and then the most [like two 8 out of 8]. Luc also holds this tie breaker as both have picked 7of 8 right in a week. But Luc has done it two times vs Gaff one.

WEEK 16 HPFL first week play-off!
First off I hope all of you and your love ones have a wonderful Christmas! The post season can have some wild finishes and who known what this week will show. But the league's top 3 seeds and Mesa are truly the HPFL top teams to date. Good luck to all!
#8 Cruisaders 8-7 vs #1 Lightning 11-4....Week 11 these two meet and the Bolts ran away with it 485-293 with the Lightning IDP's kicking some ass 298-158. Also in that game the Saders had 6 players under 9 points and 2 with none. The Saders do lead this series 4-3. Lightning comes into this game with only one loss to a play-off team[ Baton week 3 404-393]. The Lightning team also has scored over 410 points 8 times this season. The Saders did win his last 3 weeks of the season and scored over413 points his last 4 week. The Bolts IDP's and QB D.Prescott[ vs Miami] should rule the weekend. The Saders need another big game from QB O'connell but the KC rain could slow that down.
#7 Baton 8-7 vs #2 Retired 11-4....On paper this is a Texan win. Better O and IDP's to match the Storm. But the big man is RB McCaffrey and he been a machine all season. Retired beat the Storm in week5 382-363 to cut into Baton's 15-6 record vs the Texans. It would be a tall ask for the Storm WR's to keep pace with Metcalf and Aiyuk.
#6 Satan 8-7 vs #3 Vinny 11-4....For the Satan team to win here the combo of Tago/Hill must get that loven feeling that they had for a good part of the season. Hill hurting might be to much a hill to overcome. Last week Vinny rough up the Party 384-316 with a hurt WR Hill and Olave. The Crusaders IDP's plowed over the Dark One 200-150 behind LB D.Davis[43 pts.]. The Party has to play-over his head and the Vinny team must help out to get a upset here. Satan holds a 3-2 mark vs Vinny all-time.
#5 Mesa 11-4 vs #4 House 6-9.....This one looks like a one-sided match up. Gaff beat the Pain in week 12 435-392 with the Hair WR's making a statement. D.Smith had 43 points and R.Rice had 40 tallies. Mesa is 2-0 vs the House all time. The Pain has been 2-8 in his last 10 contests and beat just one play-off team[Saders]. Mesa has been better vs play-off teams going 4-3. Mesa IDP's are outstanding. If Gaff has a weakness it could be new QB M.Mullens, The House needs QB P.Maholmes to be his old Superman he was in past season to get a win here.

WEEK 15 Results....Saders, Satan ,Baton & House reach Play-offs
Hard to believe the season has rushed by so fast, But it has and now the post season is here. Not to speck badly of the four teams to join Vinny, Bolts, Hair and Texans but only the Curisaders won this week to make the post season. Baton, Satan and The House all loss. Baton limped in with 3 lasses in arow. Satan won just 4 times in last 9 weeks with out a win against a play-off team. The House won the Anne division only winning 2 times in his last 10 weeks. Mesa was the hot team winning 6 weeks in arow. Lightning won 9 of last 11 weeks.
Last week around the HPFL.... Vinny beast Satan384-316 with WR A.Cooper posting 46 points in the win. The Crusaders WR's had a 86-16 advantage vs a WR Hillless Party team. Also Vinny's IDP's came to play out scoring Satan 200-150 lead By LB D.Davis[ 43 pts.] Mesa stayed hot taking down the Enablers 358-295 with RB D.Singletary running for 45 points. The Enablers could only manage just 2 players of 9 on the O side to score over 15 points.
Lightning had a close one getting by the House 410-405. Yes the stat correction could come into play and effected the seeding for the post season if the Bolts losses. But for now the Bolts are the top seed. RB J.Cook ran for 69 points in the win along with WR J.Addison posting 45 tallies in the air. The House loss still posted the 4th highest score in the league in week 15. Clark failed to reach the post season falling to Retired 396-320. The Texans kept ridding the hot ledges of RB C.McCaffrey[72 pts.]. Also QB J.Goff matched that with 72 points as well.
The Cruisaders had LB J.Owusu-K check in with 40 points his 2nd best of the season to push the Saders to a 423-323 win over the Beast. The Saders IDP was the big winner in this one out playing the Nation 227-127. The Cruisaders are a hot team winning 3 of last 4 weeks and posting over 412 PV or greater. The Dragons also could not win into the post season as the Skins won 426-380. The Skins finished the season winning 7 of his last 9 weeks and going 4-1 vs Play-off teams. The Dragon was not help at all with 3 players posting 0 points on the week.
Baton backed into the post season falling to Titan 386-324. The Champs used MNF to get the win behind 4 Egale players with QB J.Hurts doing the most damage with 50 points. The Storm was held back again this week by Wideouts[ 4 players] that scored just 41 points. Hunt takes the top draft pick or at least the 2nd pick in the 2024 draft after falling to the Reapers 329-301. LB B.Chubb had 38 points in the win for Zimmers.
In the picks Luc posted a 6-2 week to move into a tie with Gaff at 74-46. In 3rd is Frank whit a 71-49 mark. Still 7 games left to pick from in the play-offs. Remember I only take picks from the winners side of each week in the post season. So That 4 games this week. Two next week and the final week of the season the HPFL Super bowl.

WEEK 15 PICKs....Final week of the season is on!
With so many great games this week there is no Game of the Week! For 4 teams just win and your in. House wins he takes the Anne division. Wildcard games have Satan, Baton and Clark win and they are in. For Dragons, Cruisaders, Enablers and Skins they need help.
Satan 8-6 vs Vinny 10-4...The Party most likely is in without winning because of PF tie breaker. Good thing because injures might be a big thing for Satan with Hill, Collins and Olave questionable at the WIdeout spot along. with RB Pacheco. Also two IDP[ Brisker & Ward] might not play. Vinny with a win takes his division title and is ready to go. Satan has a 3-1 mark all time vs the Crusaders. Looks like a Vinny win.
Mesa 10-4 vs Enablers 7-7....The Hair needs a win and a Vinny loss to take the Phantom division. The Enablers needs a win and help to reach the post season. Gaff last season won their only meeting 485-412. Gaff will have to go with back up QB S.Howell rest of the season. Frosty is without WR Allen this week as well. Mesa IDP's should get the win here. The Enablers must win and get a Clark/Cruisaders loss or at least a Clark loss and stay ahead of the Saders in PF.
Lightning 10-4 vs House 6-8....Great QB match up here Prescott[ [@ Buff] vs Mahomes[@NE]. This one a very close one with Pain O vs the Bolts IDP's. Lightning is one of the hot team winning 8 of last 10 and 6 vs Play-off hopefuls. The House is the opposite dropping 8 of the last 11 games and beaten just one play-off hopeful. These two meet one time with the Bolts winning 354- 225. The House can win the Anne division with a win or a Dragon loss.
Dragons 6-8 vs Skins 6-8....Both teams are nursing injuries. Skins looks like QB T.Lawrence is a go and a strong O. Frank needs QB G.Minshew to out play his projection and along with his O. Skins has a 4-1 mark in this series.
Clark 7-7 vs Retired 10-4.....This is a must win for Clark for Ben to keep hold of the 8th seed. The Texans can regain the top seed with a win and a Lightning loss. Griswold needs RB Jacobs to play and do well. The Texans look ready to go and unless he falls off this should be a win. Retired has a 10-7 mark between these two.
Cruisaders 7-7 vs Beast 5-9.....Luc needs a win and a Clark/Enablers losses to reach post season. The Nation can end the Saders season with a win and QB J.Browning might get that done. Luc is 3-2 vs the Nation all time. The Cruisaders IDP's have been hot of late and that is to much for the Nations IDP's to match. The only question is Oconnell going to start tonight for the Raiders or will Luc need to bench him and find another QB?
Baton 8-6 vs Titan 4-10....The Storm WR problem of has been bad with Davis and Dotson all season long. The Up's season is over after this week and would love to go out on a winning note. Up's are 2-1 vs the Storm. Both teams have good IDP's so it comes down to the O's.
Hunt 4-10 vs Zimmereapers 4-10....Who falls here will most likely get the 2nd pick in the 2024 draft and the winner the 3rd pick. Gaff is leading the picks with Luc,Frank and Pete in the hunt for who can make the call where they pick next season. Both have a host of injuries to overcome.

WEEK 14 - Results Still 4 play-off spots left going into the final week of the season!
So the post season that starts 2 weeks from now has Retired, Vinny, Mesa and Lightning in. All four are 10-4 and all 4 have a shot at the Number #1 through #3 seed spots. The Anne division is still up for grabs and will claim the 4th seed. The Wildcard is just that going down to the last week. One of the formation teams will be a wildcard team. The Anne Division Champ will be between Dragons and House. Satan and Baton[both 8-6] have the 6th and 7th seed as of now. Clark is holding the 8th seed[by overall PV ]. Clark ,Enablers and the Cruisaders are all 7-7. The only other teams that can get the 8th play-off spot is the Skins at 6-8 and the either the Dragons or the House that doesn't win the Anne division.
So it's going to be a wild final week in the HPFL! Vinny and Mesa fighting it out for the Phantom division. Vinny wins he got it. Mesa wins and Vinny fall Gaff is the division Champ. Anne Division has the Dragon/House battle and if the House wins, he has it. But if the Dragons win and the House falls the Dragons are the Champs. House holds the tie breaker between these two[ 5393-5103]. As for the 3 remaining wildcard spots Satan and Baton win they are in. Both teams hold a big gap in the point tie breaker. The final wildcard spot is a horse race Clark[5255 pts], Enablers[5189], Cruisaders[ 5076] and the Skins[5201] a win back would need all 7-7 teams to fall and have the Dragons win the Anne division along with themself winning. There you have it! Six of the 8 games this week have play-off ramifications. Only the Cruisaders play a non-play-off contender.
In the Game of the week...Lightning beat Retired 391-386 as RB E.Elliott posted at nice 44 points week in. This one could be stat corrected by this Thursday.
In other HPFL games....The Skins kept his play-off hopes alive downing Baton as WR C.Kupp lead the way with 42 points. Zimmer gave Clark a big loss 326-266. The Reapers O had a 104-73 non QB advantage in that one. The Cruisaders were given a stats reprieve in week 13 beating Hunt 413-409. Luc used that to get back in the post season hunt taking down Hunt 433-304 behind WR D.Samuel 60 points. Dragons shocked Vinny 423-339with a better O performance lead by WR G.Wilson[35 pts.]
The House stayed in the hunt for the Anne title downing Hunt 472-370 on TE D.Njoku 40 point showing! Mesa won and loss this week. Gaff beat the Beast[ending hsi play-off hopes] with a 347-324 win. But loss QB J.Herbert for the season. Satan made a big move to the post season witha 344-297 win over the Enablers. But a injury to WR Hill could be a problem down the line.
Gaff holds the 69-43 lead in the picks. Luc's a game back at 68-44 and Frank is next at 66-46.

Game of the Week....Lightning 9-4 vs Retired 10-3....The Bolts hold a 4-3 mark between these two. This go round both need a win. Bolts looks to tie down a division title and a play-off breath. The Texans have a division title and the #1 seed at stake. Both have strong O's so the IDP's should tell the story here. Retired is on a roll winning 7 of last 8 games.
Other Games around the HPFL.....
Baton 8-5 vs Skins 5-8.....The Storm has a 4-3 lead over the Skins. The Skins might have to go with back up QB M.Trubisky for a hurt Lawerence. The Storm is without a few key O players and has to lean on the IDP's.
Clark 7-6 vs Zimmreapers 3-10....Clark just needs to win out last two games and he is in the post season. The Griswold team has won 5 of last 6 games including a win over Vinny. The Reapers maybe out of the play-offs but he can hurt Clark big time here. Zimmer holds a 3-1 mark vs Clark. Both have strong O's so the D's will tell the story.
Cruisaders 5-8 vs Titan 4-9....The Saders are on life support for a play-off breath. Saders has fallen 3 in arow, and the Up's have lost 6 in arow. Except for the loss of WR T.Dell for the season the Titans look good on the O side. Saders should roll on the O side as well. Luc should win and Titans are short a few players. Luc is 3-1 vs the Up's all time.
Dragons 5-8 vs Vinny 10-3....The Firebreathers need a win in the race in the Anne division. The Dragons have lost last 4 games. Vinny needs a win this week or next to tie down the Phantom division. Vinny should take this one with a strong roster. Vinny lost both meetings last season to the Dragons including a first round play-off game 453-451.
Hunt 5-8 vs House 5-8...The Chase team needs to win out and get some help to reach the post season The House is a tie with the Dragons and Nation. The House has the tie breaker this week. Both have strong QB's going this week[Stroud vs Mahomes] but both are up against top D's. Chase has to overcome key O players on injuries. Last season the House won these two only meeting.
Mesa 9-4 vs Beast 5-8....Gaff looks to be on his way to a post season with a win here. It would take another great week out of QB J.Browning to pull a upset by the Beast. Mesa holds a 4-3 mark between these two. Both have something to gain in this one. The Beast is tie with two others in the Anne division. The Hair with a win will tie down a post season spot.
Satan 7-6 vs Enablers 7-6....Right now Satan holds the last play-off spot and the tiebreaker with the Enablers. Last season the Party won these two only meeting. This is a big game between these two. Satan's D is short handed this week The Party hope is Tago/Hill can help overcome that. Also can Enablers over come QB B.Young so so play this season?

WEEK 13 Results....Play=off picture becomes to clear!
The Retired team nails down the second play-off ticket with Vinny and has taken over the #1 seed as well. The Anne Division has become a who wants it. Both the House and Dragons fell again this week and now the Nation has also moved into a tie in the division 5-8. Satan and Clark held on to the 7# and 8th Play-off seeds with the Enablers also at 7-6 out side the play-off due to tie breaker. Mesa made a strong move to the post season and is just a game back with to left behind Vinny in the Phantom division.
So the break down in the Anne Division is the House holds the tie breaker for the division title and the 4th seed. All three teams are 5-8. House has Hunt/Lightning remaining with Dragons having Vinny/Skins and Beast with Mesa/Cruisaders. For the 7th and 8th seeds right now it looks like a three team race unless Baton 8-5 falls back. Satan has a big showdown with Enablers/Vinny, Clark has Zimmer/Retired and Enablers has Satan/Mesa. Retired and Vinny are fighting it out for the top seed while Lightning is a win away from the Tide division title. Mesa is in the post season with a win as well. Baton needs at least one win if not two to fall into that Clark,Satan and Enabler race.
Going to be a fun two weeks left before the post season.
Games of the Week....Retired ran over a bye week weaken Vinny team 447-213. WR D.Metcaft was the big point getter posting 62 for the Texans. Mesa also had little trouble smashing Baton 402-325. The Hair IDP's lead by LB A.Singleton[43 pts.] out played the Storm 235-178.
In other HPFL games.....Clark pulled off a big win over last season Champs and ended the Up's hope for back to back titles 391-304. Key plaer in the Griswold win was WR's M.Evans[64 pts.] and J.Chase[59 pts.]. Satan damaged Dragons play-off hopes beating them 412-331. The big two of Miami Tago/Hill had 119 points along with WR N.Collins 64 tallies. The Enablers slowed down the House 339-245. The Enablers IDP's won the weekend going 182-115 as S J.Battle and CB J,Jacobs each posted 27 points.
Hunt most likley ended the Cruisaders play-off hopes with a 417-413 win. Yes, stat correction could change the out come . For now, the Chase team had WR P.Nacua[ 49 pts.] and RB D.Henry[41 pts.] lead the Hunt team to a win. The Beast had QB J.Browning post 81 points on MNF to upset the Lightning Bolts 351-337. The win moves the Nation back into a race for a play=off ticket. A Bolts loss has them a game back for the top seed with Retired and Vinny.
The Skins beat Zimmer 387-294 as LB A.Al-Shair posted 41 points in the win.
In the picks Gaff and Luc are now tied at 64-40 for the lead, The Dragons are two games back at 62-42. Baton won the week with a 6-2 mark.

WEEK 13 Picks...Final Rivaly Week of the season.
A few teams can lock down play-off spot [Retired/Lightning]. Few others can get a better hold on a spot[Clark/Satan]. Then there is that wild Anna division with the Dragons, House and Nation with a 4th seed at stake.
Games of the Week....
Vinny 10-2 vs Retired 9-3....Could this match up be a Super Bowl preview? Both have won 2 games in 4 meetings all time. Both have players on bye but none bigger the Crusader QB J.Allen. Love the Texans WR's in this one. Vinny needs big things from his RB's tp get this one.
Baton 8-4 vs Mesa 8-4....When you say rivalry. This one has been going on since 1999. This will be the 34th edition with the Storm leading 18-14-1. Both teams have some key players on the fence about playing this week. That could have a lot to say who wins here. Both have strong IDP's with Gaff having a small edge on the O side. May come down to QB Love vs Herbert.
Other HPFL games....
Clark 6-6 vs Titan 4-8....Now that December is here can the Griswold team grab some of that Xmas magic? Clark holds the 8th play-off spot by the thinnest of margins. The Up's would love to keep the Griswold team from a win here. No question Clark has a host of players off this week. That might give the Up's a door to get through, QB Hurts dose face the 49ers D. Griswold has a 2-1 mark vs Titan.
Dragons 5-7 vs Satan 6-6....Both teams need a win here. FireBreathers are in a death match in the Anne Division to who can get that 4th seed. The Party holds the 7th seed but three teams are 6-6 and another 3 are 5-7. The Underwold bowl has the Dragons short with two key RB's on bye. Satan will lean on Tago/Hill vs a Bad Wash D. Dragons have a 4-1 mark vs the Party.
Cruisaders 5-7 vs Hunt 4-8....Both of these two need a win and some help if a post season in in their future. Looking at this one CJ Strroud could get the Chase over the top. Saders will look to his RB's and IDP's. Hunt leads all time 3-2.
Lightning 9-3 vs Beast 4-8....The Nation is in the race for the Anna Division title just 1 game back of the Dragons and House. Bolts looking to win his division and a play-off spot. To much roster for the bolts to fall here. Lightning has a 5-1 mark vs the Nation.
House 5-7 vs Enablers 4-8....The Pain team holds the tie breaker in the Anna division. Enablers are battling to get back in the race for a 8th seed or better. The House has been so up and down this season and needs big things out of his O to ger a win here. The Enablers will look to B.Young to take over for L.Jackson on bye. Enablers won last season only meeting 327-278.
Skins 4-8 vs Zimmreapers 3-9....Both teams look to be out of the post season picture. But both are competitors as the Skins hold a 3-2 mark. Both teams are under fire with a host of players on bye week. The Skins have adjusted and looks the better this week.

WEEK 12 Results....Vinny is first to clinch a play-off spot!
With three weeks left in the season the Crusaders 10-2 are going to the post season. Vinny came in to the HPFL in 2019 and made the post season right out of the gate but fell in the first round to Skins 447-424. It was 3 seasons later in 2022 for Vinny to reach the post season again but again lost in the first round to the Dragons 453-451 in a close one. Both the loses for Vinny was to teams that lost in the Super Bowl that season. The Crusaders now looks to tie down the Phantom division title and the #1 seed. Mesa 8-4 is 2 wins back of Vinny.
Lightning 9-3 is just one win away or a Satan loss to claim the Tidal division. Another team more than likely one win away from a post season ticket is Retired 9-3 in the SandBox division with a one game lead over Baton 8-4. The last division has the House and Dragon in a death match as both teams are 5-7. Dragons have lost his last three and the House his last two. With a win this week the Beast 4-8 is now in range of the other two Anne division teams.
The Game of the Week....The Bolts put a hurt on the Satan team play-off hopes 444-364. The Party is still in the 7th seed spot. QB D.Prescott lead the Lightning team with 75 points. The Bolts IDP's were big 192-124 with LB I.Pace[31 pts.] leading the way.
In other HPFL contests.......The Beast move back into the play-off picture taking down Titan 340-333. Yes, it is closes enough that stat correction could change the outcome If not the Up's are in big trouble not reaching the post season and defending his title. QB J.Browning[39 pts.] posted just enough to offset Up's QB J.Hurts[70 pts.]. WR M.Pittman had 36 points for the Nation to help the WR's out play the Champs 101-56. The Skins also might have saw his post season dreams go away with a loss to The Enablers 430-381. Skins QB T.Lawrence did his job posting 71 points for the Skins. The Enablers RB's had a 93-55 advantage lead by K.Williams 66 tallies.
Mesa delivered a big win over The House 439-392 as WR's S.Smith[43 pts.] and R.Rice[40 pts.] lead the way. The House had LB D.Campbell side lined and WR Q.Johnson[2 pts.] leave before haft time that really cost the Pain team. Vinny clinched a play-off spot and hurt any chance for Hurt to get a play-off spot 391-323. The Crusader IDP's were big 197-118 lead by LB J.Baker[33 pts.]. Both QB's had big weekend as the Crusaders were lead by J.Allen[92 pts.] while Chase had C,Stroud[76 pts.].
Retired kept rolling with a gigantic win over the Cruisaders 473-435 to even these two at 10-10 all-time. The Texans IDP's had a weekend going 260-197 with S J.Bates posting 48 points. RB C.McCaffery rolled with 49 points for the Texans in the win. Saders QB J.Dobbs[34 pts.] threw 4 INT's on MNF and failed to help the Saders catch the Texans. Clark had a big weekend with a 448-379 win over the Dragons to hold on to the 8th play-off spot. Dragons couldn't jump over the House in the Anne division. The Griswold team had RB J.Jacobs post 47 points and helped Clark O out play the Dragons by 65 points. LB D.Hunter lead the Clark D with 41 tallies.
Baton blew past Zimmreapers 449-361 but it came at a cost. LB J.Phillips[25 pts.] will be out the rest of the season. It the second week in a row the Storm lost a D player for the remainder of the season. J.Love helped Baton forget the loss of J.Burrows for at least this week posting 65 points on Thanksgiving. The Storm IDP's had a 219-150 showing vs the Reapers lead by S K.Byard[ 40 pts.].
The picks got more interesting as Gaff went 6-2 and cut in to Luc lead. The Saders are still on top 60-36. Mesa is a game back at 59-37. Just 2 wins back is the Dragons.

WEEK 12 Picks.....Happy Thanksgiving Day!!!
Down to 4 weeks left in the season before the Play-offs. Teams like Vinny, Lightning and Retired look like a lock for the 8 team play-off format. Mesa and Baton with a win or two should be ok. Satan is on the line to also tie down a spot. The Anne division is wide open with the Dragons and House fighting for that division play-off ticket. The loser might not get a wide card spot. As of now Clark has the 8th spot but a host of teams are right there to take it!
By the way the stat correction gods came in overnight and push the Titan/Vinny game from a tie to a Crusader win 391-384 win. Never see a tie game change that far in points to a 7 point win[Five corrections].
Game of the Week....
Lightning 8-3 vs Satan 6-5....Both are fighting for a play-off spot. The Bolts to get a top seed and Satan to tie down a wild card ticket. Yes the Tidal division match up could cut the Bolts two game lead if the Party can get a win this week, The 2019 and 2021 HPFL Champ[Bolts] has a 5-1 mark vs the 2013 Champs[Satan]. Both O's are looking strong with no NFL team on bye. That being said the Party top two O players are facing top Jets D. Bolts might have the best IDP's in the league and the Satan will have to keep up with that.

Beast 3-8 vs Titans 4-7....The 2022 Champs are at the end of their rope are getting down to winning out and getting some help if defending his title. The Up's should get this one but some injuries could hold them back. This one could be a low scoring game with O player facing tough D's. Nation doses have a 2-1-mark vs the Up's all-time.
Skins 4-7 vs Enablers 5-6....This one looks like a must for the Skins. The Enablers are in the thick of it for that 8th play-off spot. The Skins won these two only meet last season. The Skins WR's could be big here.
Mesa 7-4 vs House 5-6....Mesa 7-4 vs House 5-6....The Pain has the tie breaker for now in the Anne division over the Dragons. Gaff has his Hair team in the running for a high wildcard spot. The Mesa team should have a nice Turkey weekend but his RB's could slow down Gaff. Gaff won their only meeting last season.
Hunt 4-7 vs Vinny 9-2....With that stat correction win last week for the Crusaders the Vinny team still hold the #1 seed over The Bolts and Texans by one win. Vinny has some key injuries on the O side. Hunt has to play over their heads on both sides of the ball to pull the upset. Each has 2 wins in four meeting with Hunt winning the last two.
Cruisaders 5-6 vs Retired 8-3....A GREAT old time HPFL match up in this one. This will be the 20th all time meeting and that saying something, Thanks to these two managers! Luc has won 3 of the last 5 games but coming off a big loss to the Bolts. Retired has one of his best teams going back to 2020 when the RGV team lost the Super Bowl to the Storms. In this one the Texans just might have to much roster for the Saders to win.
Clark 5-6 vs Dragons 5-6....The question in this one can the Dragons take control of the Anne division? The Fire Breathers fell one win short last season for a title and wants another shot. The Griswold team might need some holiday magic here to get a win. That could come if QB J.Fields can light up on MNF. The Dragons IDP's look like a winner here.
Baton 7-4 vs Zimmreapers 3-8....The Storm now with J.B out for the season the Baton now must go with J.Love. Good news for Baton Love faces only 2 top hafe D's in the last 7 weeks. The Reapers need a great game from QB Purty in Seattle and maybe the return of WR J.Jefferson could an upset. The Storm IDP's has been great this season but LB L.Leonard being cut and a few injuries could be a problem. The Baton team is 4-1 vs the Reapers all time.

WEEK 11 Results....The Rich keep getting richer in HPFL play!
Well coming down the home stretch and the top teams had a week of big wins while the teams fighting for a play-off spot languet. The surprise was the tie top team Vinny had but that could change with stat correction.
Game of the Week.....Mesa picked up a big win and hurt the Griswold holiday perpetrations 400-353. Clark still held on to the 8th play-off spot but fell a game behind Satan for the 7th spot. Griswold has 4 teams tie with them at 5-6 with Clark this week holding the tie breaker. The IDP's were key in the Hair win with a 197-170 advatage lead by LB's K.Mack[50 pts.] and A.Singlteton[49 pts.].
In other HPFL Contests....The Titan vs Vinny game was a tie[at lest for now] 388-388. Even with a tie it could turn out to be a big loss for last season champs[Up's] as they failed to get up with the 5 teams that are now 5-6 and with the Skins lurking at 4-7. Titan's were led by WR T.Dell with 55 points and has averaged 43 points in last three weeks. Vinny did very well with3 open spots and 6 players on bye week all toll. The Enablers posted a big win over the Nation 352-278 but it came at a cost of TE M.Andrews[leg] for the season. QB L.Jackson[56 pts.] and RB J.Warren[49 pts.] lead the way.
Even with WR T.Hill leaving the game for Miami briefly the Satan player posted 50 points and pushed the Party to a big win over the Reapers 395-311. Satan had a 49 point advantage on the D side lead by S T.Mochrig 31 point weekend that match the safety's 2 other high point weeks. Rough weekend for the Zimmer team with RB A.Jones going down again [could not play week 12] and lost LB K.White[bicep] for the season. Kickers don't get much press but Reapers T.Bass had 25 tallies.
The Skins kept their play-off hopes alive with a win over Hunt 459-384 as both teams are now 4-7. There are 5 teams ahead at 5-6 but one of thoese teams will win the Anne division title. The big numbers in this one was WR C.Ridley's 47 points for the Skins. The only down side could be WR C.Kupp's ankle sprain for the Skins. The Dragons ran into a strong Retired team a loss 425-322. Big Sunday afternoon in the bay area for Grant high school grad WR B,Aiyuk with 49 points. The Texan's WR's out played the Firebreathers 111-43. The Texans lost TE L.Musgraves for at least 4 weeks due to a kidney injury.
Lightning as well as the Retired team keep showing they are the leagues best and not just Vinny. The Bolts beat the Cruisaders 485-293 behind a great D performance. The Lightning team out played the Saders 293-158 as LB's B.Cashman[ 66 pts.] and E.Roberts[52 pts.] had whale of a weekend. Saders O had 4 players under 10 points. Baton also used a strong IDP play 273-130 to march past the Pain 413-388. The House has the tie breaker with the Dragons in the Anee division as both are 5-6 on the season. WW pick up LB J.Phillips lead the Storm with 41 tallies.
In the Picks Luc still leads even with Satan, Dragons and Mesa picking up a game this week. Saders are 56-31-1 with 39 games to go [ 32 regular season games/ 7 play-off games]. Long way to go!!! The Skins had a great week going 7-0-1. Remember that Vinny/Titan game could mover from a tie to a win to either team.

WEEK 11 Picks....This week maybe started to clear up the play-off teams from the not.
Game of the Week....Clark 5-5 vs Mesa 6-4.....This could be a crossroad game for these two. Gaff won last season match up 416-386 to give the Hair a 12-7 record between these two old HPFL rivals. A big push for the Griswold team is the return of RB D.Achane and QB J.Fields. Can Gaff ride the hot hand of Herbert and his good D? This one should be a nail biter!
Around the HPFL.....
Titan 4-6 vs Vinny 8-2.....There is no question the 2022 Champs[Up's] have their backs against the wall for a play-off spot. The Crusaders has been to this point the best in the League this season. The Crusaders are hit hard this week by the bye week blues on the D side and two key O players sitting. The Up's have too many bodies playing this week and Hurts could go off on MNF.
Beast 3-7 vs The Enablers 4-6.....The Nation won their only meeting in 2022 383.5-383. This one will not be that closes. The Enablers have to much roster to fall here.
Satan 5-5 vs Zimmreapers 3-7....It's been a long season for the Reapers with injuries. The Party will be missing a few O players on bye week. Still, both have O's that should have a lot of points this week. Comes down to the IDP's. Satan is 5-3 in this match up, but the Zimmer team has won the last two.
Hunt 4-6 vs Skins 3-7...Both could still get a play-off spot but really need to run the table and still need help from other teams ahead of them to loses. You have to love QB C.Stroud breakout season for the Chase team while Lawernce has struggled for the Skins. The Skins are 4-1 vs the Hunt all time. This is a RB war in this match up and getting back RB K.Herbert could be a winner for the Skins.
Dragons 5-5 vs Retired 7-3...The Dragons hold a 4-1 mark vs the Texans all time. This match up should be a fun one to watch with both teams nearly full stealth. Both O's are ready to fly but can the Dragons match the Texans IDP's?
Cruisaders 5-5 vs Lightning 7-3....Talk about a really good game to watch. This one is just that! The Saders are 4-2 all time vs the Bolts. Both are riding hot QB's in Prescott and Dobbs[ what a surprise]. Both O's are ready to go[ Saders are short an RB Robinson on bye]. Bot have big IDP's. Should be fun but lets face it this one is key one for the Saders play-off hopes.
Baton 6-4 vs House 5-5....The Storm season may have gone down the tubes with QB Burrows out for the season and his 24 point TNF game will play heavily in the outcome in this one. The House has All world Mahomes going MNF and that could get a big Pain win. The old Pazsky team beat the Storm on the last week of the season 447-430 in thier only meeting.

Down to 5 weeks left be for the first round of the play-offs. IF the post season started today Vinny, Lightning, Retired and the House would be division winners. The wildcard teams would be Mesa, Baton Satan and Clark. The Dragons and Cruisaders are 5-5 teams but do not have the tie breakers with 5-5 teams Clark and Satan. Also a 5-5 a 5-5 team is the Pain team that would beat out the Dragons in Anne division with a tie breaker. So a lot more season to go but Vinny and Lightning look strong with 2 game leads in their divisions.
The Cruisaders beat Satan in The Game of the Week 397-361 to the Saders team just outside a play-off spot. Talk about a big trade that helped Luc with QB Dobbs[60 pts.] move from AZ to Minn. But wasn't all roses for the Cruisaders as he lost one of his best IDP for at least 4 week as LB J.Hicks went down. S D.James [41pts] lead the Saders D.
Other HPFL games..... The Zimmereapers upset The Enablers 337-328 to end a 3 game side. Three AZ teammates LB K.White[29 pts.], CB M.Wilson[13 pts.] and TE T.McBride[ 39 pts.] were a big part in the win. Enabler WR K.Allen did everything he could posting 63 tallies. RB B.Robinson[ 57 pts.] and QB J.Burrow[ 68 pts.] lead the Storm over the Dragons 363-301. The Baton IDP's toke a hit lost for the year LB K.Alexander and DL T.Hendrick for a least a few weeks.
Clark shocked Vinny 443-414 to post their third win in a row and move back into the play-off picture. Three pass catchers WR M,Evans[ 48 pts.], TE T.Hockenson[ 48 pts.] and J.Chase[47 pts.] were a big part of the Griswold taking down the top HPFL team. What wasn't any help was the poor showing the Crusader QB Allen had on MNF. Mesa showed life and upset a hot Hunt team 458-409. The Hair had a big weekend from QB J.Herbert who checked in with 76 points. Also RB D.Singletary posted 51 points in the win. IDP standouts LB Oluokum and R.Smith had 114 points together for Gaff. Even with all that WR J.Judy[10 pts.] and C,Suttom[22 pts.] on MNF couldn't save the Chase team.
Lightning bounces back to post a win over the Skins 499-328, The star here was QB D.Prescott[ 103 pts] and Cowboy teammate WR CD Lamb[60 pts.]. Lamb 60 points was way better than the 38 points by all Skins WR's. All Bolt WR's had 90 tallies. Pain posted a big win over 2022 HPFL Champ Titan 398-274. The House roster was just to much for the Up's with LB Z.Franklin leading the way with 54 tallies. Reired kept his hold on the SandBox division lead with a win over The Nation 503-399. WR B.Cook had 54 point weekend and DB J.Bates had 46.
In the Picks the Saders[51-29] has a 4 game lead on the Dragons[47-33]. Vinny had the best week with a 6-2 mark.

WEEK 10 Picks...3rd Rivalry Week and some fun match ups!
Game of the Week...The Cruisaders 4-5 vs Satan 5-4....The Dark Lord is in big trouble with bye week blues. Saders also have issues on the D side as l well. Good news for Luc he gets back WR Samuel. These two have a nice rivalry going after 18 meetings the Saders lead 10-8. The Cruisaders IDP's should get the win'
Other HPFL Games....The Enablers 4-5 vs Zimmereapers 2-7....This time of the season a win is big but when you get a lower record team you have to win. These two meets one-time last season were Zimm won 317-309. The Enablers started the season hot but have fallen on hard time dropping 5 of his last 6 games. To snap his 4 game sided the IDP's need to step up. Watch the QB match up of Jackson vs Purdy.
Baton 5-4 vs Dragons 5-4.... Both would love a win here and it's going to be a donnybrook. Very tight game up and down the line up's. You have to go back to week one of 2022 the last time these two meet. Storm won to take a 4-1 lead. The O's on both side will tell the story here.
Clark 4-5 vs Vinny 8-1....The Crusaders are very close to a lock to win his division and now looks to be the top seed in the play-offs. Griswold needs a win to stay in the hunt for a play-off ticket. Each has 2 victories in 4 meetings. The Crusaders do have a few players sitting this one out. Still it will take some Griswold luck to overcome QB Allen vs Denver.
Hunt 4-5 vs Mesa 5-4....The Chase is coming off a big win over Lightning last week. The Hair has it hard time falling 4 of the last 5 weeks. After last season week 11 win the Hunt team has a 3-2 vs Mesa. This one is a coin toss as both teams have to strong match up's and not some much. Could come down to QB's Stroud vs Herbert.
Lightning 6-3 vs Skins 3-6....These two have had some great contest over the years. Meet in two Super Bowls and drawn even in 8 meeting 4-4. Bot teams are shorthanded this week and well need to go to their bench. The Skins are hot right now and could take a big step getting back into the play-off run with a win. Both will need to lean on their IDP's to get a win here.
Pain 4-5 vs Titan 4-5..,A win might not get one of these team to the post season, but it could be a turning point in the season. The House won last season only meeting. 330-280. As of an hour before Sunday games the Champs are shorthanded at QB and WR. That's not going to get it done.
Retired 6-3 vs Nation 3-6....The Nation holds a 3-1 mark between these two but that should get cut into this week. The Texans have to much roster to fall here and should stay on top of the SandBox division.

WEEK 9 Results....Vinny takes command of HPFL with 6 games left!
Well we are down to the last 6 games and the play-off picture is far from clear. If the play-offs were this week the division winners would be Retired, Lightning, Vinny and Dragons. The wildcard teams would be Baton, Mesa, Satan and House. There are six teams outside the play-offs at 4-5 and House is 4-5 with the 8th spot due to tie breakers. There is two other teams at 3-5. Two teams to keep an eye on is the Skins[3-6] and Hunt[4-5] as both these teams are on a roll.
Game of the Week....In a big Phantom division show down had Vinny blow past Mesa 457-319. The win by the Crusaders pushes them out to a 3 game lead with 6 left. You no you are living right when your kicker[ K.Koo] post 31 points. Also, for Vinny in the win WR A.Cooper had 49 tallies.
Other HPFL games....Baton beat up the Nation 389-228 as TE J.Smith had 47 points in the win. Clark revived his play-off hopes taking down The House 387-335. QB T Bagent posted 50 to keep up with Mahomes 46. That allowed the Griswold team to take advantage of RB R.Stevenson 42 points NE Sunday.
The Cruisaders saved his season for the time being with a big win over The Enablers 281-269. LB J.Hicks kept his very nice season going posting with 38 points. On the other side 5 players on the D side for The Enablers could only manage 18 point together. In a 2022 Super Bowl rematch saw the Dragongs get a little payback with a309-287 vitory over the Titan. Week 9 had many TE's go off and Dragons C.Otton check in with 30 points. Late pick up last week T.Dell[45 pts.] almost saved the Up's week.
Hunt pulled the upset of the weekend with a 486-371 win over the Bolts. It marks the second season in a row the Chase team has slowed down the Lightning team who been on a winning streak. Hunt had QB C.Stroud post is best NFL weekend ever with 115 points. Bolts QB Prescott[82 pts.] did his best to keep up along with WR C.Lamb[52 pts.]. The Hunt IDP's did the job out pacing the Bolts 194-132 as LB N.Landman[35 pts.] had his be game of the season. Retired sent Zimmer to the moon with a 423-313 win. The Texans IDP's had a big weekend with a 255-115 lead by DE M.Crosby with 47 points. TE D.Schultz checked in with 45 points for the old Austin team. Don't throw the dirt on the Skins season yet with his 3rd win in a row 335-328 over Satan. Skis are staring to own the Dark Lord going 5-2 all time. The Skins D out played the Party 205-148 behind LB L.David[45 pts.] and Z.Cunningham[37 pts.]. The twosome of QB O'Connel/ WR W.Robinson had just a enough 37 points to stay with Satan Tago/Hill 58 points.
In the Picks Luc[Saders] stretched his lead a game more with a 5-3 week. Five other teams went 4-4. The Dragons[43-29] and Satan[42-29] still trail the Cruisaders 46-26 .Mesa[ 41-31] and Vinny[40-31] are still in it as well. Long ways to go with 48 games and 7 play-off contest] left.

Well we are now moving in to the final 7 games of the season. Teams need wins and every win is big. The Bye week are going to be big from here in and injures also will be big! So talking about the bye weeks some teams have been hit hard in the start of the season and the second haft not so much. Here a look at what the rest of the season has for the top teams as of now.

Clark 3-5 vs House...Both need a run of wins and the QB spot could be big in this one. Mahome on the road overseas while T.Bagent vs NO. Girswold needs to overcome so key IDP injuries. Still you have to love the Clark D this week. Griswold is 1-0 all time in this one.
Baton 4-4 vs Beast 3-5....The Nation is slowed down by players off and RB D.Pierce off with a injure. The Storm is 4-2 all time and should win this week with to much roster.
Cruisaders 3-5 vs The Enablers 4-4....A close match up this week in this one. The Enablers lead all time 1-0 here. Both have injuries and bye week issues. So comes down to Enablers O vs Saders D
Dragons 4-4 vs Titans 4-4...A Super Bowl rematch of last season that the Up's won 409-343. All time each has won 2 times in 4 go rounds. Firebreathers are at full speed in this on with the Titans down 4 players unless he moves players off the bench. Dragon IDP's should take the weekend.
Hurt 3-5 vs Lightning 6-2....Both teams are fielding full rosters, but the Chase has key players out. Last season Hurt meet the Bolts with the Chase team was 1-6 while Lightning was 4-3 and Hurt won. Can that happen again? This one could be closes with a hot Hunt O and a strong Bolt D. Each has 3 wins in 6 meetings.
Retired 5-3 vs Zimmreapers 2-6....This one has QB T.Heinicke taking on Mayfield. Reapers look like he is sitting Watson while 2 other QB's are on bye Goff and and Purdy. The Texans just have to much roster to fall here.
Satan 5-3 vs Skins....This one might be the skins 3 win in a row if late pick up QB O'Connell can be the man in LV. Satan lost LB C.Holcomb on TNF for the season. Both have good IDP's but it come down to the O's and it looks like the twosome of Tago/Hill didn't pan out in Germany for the Party. So anyone game!

WEEK 8 Results...Mesa, Lighting and Vinny roll!
The top teams are starting to rise to the top.
Game of the Week....Mesa out lasted Titans 490-427 to break up Gaffs three game sided. WR D.Hopkins finally showed up posting a 66 point weekend. Also LB F.Oluokom[41 pts.] kept his monster season going and helped the Hair out pointed the Champs 207-182.
In other HPFL games.....Satan posted a big win over the Beast 482-298. The Tago/Hill connection was big for the Party again with 123 tallies. Throw in RB J,Gibbs 60 points and it was to much for the Nation to take. Baton and Vinny posted both teams highest point of the season but the Crusaders got the better of the two 494-465. Vinny moves to 7-1 and the Storm falls out of the top 8 .
Clark got a much-needed win over Hunt 376-329 lead by LB D.Tranquill 42 points. Both teams are 3-4 on the season. The Skins raced to a 400-356 win over the Saders to get his second win in a row and of the season. The loss was a big hit for Luc on top of the loss of QB Cousins who was having a giant season. Skins TE T.Hill lead the way with31 points. None QB points on the O side had Skins win 128-89 as both team struggled.
The Bolts for sure are looking like one of the league's best and blasted Zimmer 511-372. Balance up and down the Lightning line up but WR C.Lamb had a great Sunday afternoon in Dallas with 62 points. The only dark cloud for the Bolts was a season ending acl injury to WR K.Bourne. The Dragons used the OT game in NY to get by the Enablers 364-361. Now with corrections this game could change but for now WR G.Wilsom[33 pts.] and RB S.Barkley[33 pts.] OTgame has the Fire Breathers getting the victory. Retired beat Pazsky 446-386 to take over the lead in the SandBox division. RB's were big for the Texans but three players in the SF/Cin game were big for the Retired team McCaffrey[40 pts.] and J.Mixon[30 pts.] lead the RB's while WR B.Aiyue[31 pts.] posted his third best performance of the season.
Saders still lead the picks at the hafe way point in the season at 41-23. Trailing are Dragons and Satan with 39 points. Best of the week was Vinny with a 6=2 mark.

WEEK 8 Picks...HPFL hits the haft way point in the season!
Well know bye week this week in the NFL. That's a good thing. Vinny and Lightning lead the league with 8 games to go.
Game of the Week....Mesa 4-3 vs Titan 4-3....These are two teams that are going in different directions. Gaff started off so good but taking 4 victories' right out the gate. But the last three weeks Mesa has found it hard to sniff a win. The Up's have won 4 of the last 5 games and this is a team that can get hot. Last season the Titan team won his last 8 games including 3 post season games. The Champs have a hill to conquer having never beaten the Hair in 3 meetings. This one look to be a dog fight all week [very tight]. Great QB battle Herbert vs Hunt who has a very weak Wash D to face. Mesa will look to his strong LB's and his hole IDP's.
In other games around the League....Satan 4-3 vs Beast 3-4....This is a big one for both teams. In 2022 the Party beat the Nation 415-330 and very well could have the same out come if Tago/Hill get on a roll vs NE. Question here can the Nation O stay with the Dark One to get the Up set? Baton 4-3 vs Vinny 6-1....The Crusaders are on a roll and QB Allen set the pace with a strong TNF game. The Storm must match that with Burrow in SF this Sunday. To get by the Crusaders the Baton IDP's must show up. Vinny has a strong O that maybe to much to handle.
Clark 2-5 Hunt 3-4...No question this is a must win for the Griswold team if he has any hope for a great Xmas Vacation this season. The Chase team is starting to find his footing winning 3 of last 4. Clark holds a 3-2 record in this series. Both have lower tier QB fighting for points on the road, A fun fact both these teams have beaten Satan this season. Chase IDP's just might be to much for Griswold to win. Cruisaders 3-4 vs Skins 1-6....By the record this would look like a Saders win but don't be so fast to give luc the win. The Skins have a all-time mark of 5-1 vs the Saders to lean on. The Skins have a red hot K.Cousins and the O player have some favorable match up's as well. Luc must get more from his o roster to win here. Dragons 3-4 vs The Enablers 4-3....In 2022 these to meet for the first time with a Dragon win 391-379. This one should be a tight one but QB L.Jackson could be the man to push over the top.
Lightning 5-2 vs Zimmreaper 2-5....The Reapers are hoping to just ride out the injury bug of his star O player and get back to winning. They are starting to get a few back but it will not be enough to over come a strong Bolt O. Lightning holds a 3-1 mark vs the Reapers. Pazsky's 4-3 vs Retired 4-3...This might be a crossroads game for these two. The Phenoms have been explosive team at time but IDP's have let him down. Pazsky 8 games remaining 6 are teams with winning records. The Texans have won 3 of his last 5 contest and needs that to continue. These two have meet just one time in 2022 with a Phenom win. Pazsky will lean hard on Maholmes again this week as the KC QB takes on a very weak Denver D. The Texans have one of the leagues better IDP's.

WEEK 7 Results....Zimmer takes top spot in HPFL race!
In the Games of the Week.....The Crusaders weathered Pazsky's QB Mahomes[ 108 pts.] to get by with a win 427-419. J.Allen help keep the Vinny team in the fight posting 63 tallies in the win. Also QB A.Kamara TNF game was big for Vinny checking in with 44 points. Three openings on the Pasky roster was a big hit in the loss. The Bolts beat up the Enablers 443-341in the second Game of the Week. The big contributors for the Lightning win were WR J.Addison[ 59 pts.] and J.Down[48 pts.]
In other HPFL contest...The Cruisaders came back on MNF to get by Baton 336-289 behind QB K.Cousins 80 points. Cousins poved to be to much for Storms QB B.Purdy[ 44pts.] to handle. The Nation out did Clark 389-307 as all world TE Kelce did most the damage. How much? Over 15% of any player on both teams in points.
The Dragons up ended Mesa 446-381. The Hair IDP's did take the day 225-203 but not by the margin that Gaff was hoping for. Off the PS for the Rams RB D.Henderson had 20 points for the Dragons. But K Hopkins was the big man this week with 39 points in the win. Hunt got by Satan 361-332 to draw even all time between these two at 2-2. WR P.Nacua keeps have a wonderful season posting 47 points in the Chase win.
The Skins post his first win of the season shocking Retired 399-342. WR J.Palmer had 43 points for the Skins and LB L.David checked in with 40' The Titans even their record at 3-3 after a 431-224 victory over Zimmreapers. The Reapers QB problem showed up again of Sunday with Waton going down leaving the Brown signal caller with -1 points on the day. For the Titans QB J.Hurts had 60 points pushing the Up's to a 341-224 win. DE M.Garrett had a great day in the trenches with 50 tallies.
In the Picks Satan won the week with a 6-2 week. That moved the Party into second with the Dragons each with 34 wins. Luc moved ahead in the top spot and is 37-19 on the season.

With 6 NFL teams on Bye week, it leaves many teams short with other ready to get a big win.
Games of the Week...
Vinny 5-1 vs Pazsky't 4-2....In these two only other meeting was in 2022 were Crusaders won 308-277. The Phenoms are hurting due to the bye week with 5 open roster spots but can fill 3 off the bench. The Crusaders should run away with this one. Not even a big day by Mahomes can save this week.
Lightning 4-2 vs The Enablers 4-2....These two also have meet just on time with a Enablers win 345-307 in 2022. Both have a lot going on the O side. On the D side injuries could slow down the Enablers. L.jackson will be up against a good D as is Stafford. This one a nail bitter.
Other HPFL Contest...
Baton 4-2 vs Cruisaders 2=4.....The Storm is hit hard by bye week on one of the leagues better IDP's along with starting QB. Saders are full go with little slowing them down. Baton holds a 10-9-1 record vs the Saders. Fun fact QB Purdy will take on Cousins.
Clark 2-4 vs Nation 2-4....Both need a win to get the ship going in the right direction. Both are hammered by the bye week. Injuries also will slow each team down. QB Bagent will have to step in for Griswold and Ridder looks like sub for Jones again for the Beast. Each have 3 win in six meeting. Clark will win but in a low scoring affaire.
Dragon 2-4 vs Mesa 4-2....in 2022 the Fire Breathers finally beat the Hair 434-376 as Gaff leads 4=1. Both have the players on bye. But even with that this one could be one of the highest scoring match of the week. It may come down to QB Hurbert vs Love.
Hunt 2-4 vs Satan 4-2....Both have key players sitting. The one that can overcome this such as RB J.Gibbs getting on the field for the Party. The Dark One has some nice O match up's vs poor D's. The Chase O players have the opposite. Satan doses lead the Chase all time 2-1.
Retired 4-2 vs Skins 0-6....There is no question that the Skins have never started 0-6 ever. The Skins are 4-3 all time vs the Texans. The fast started on TNF gives the Skins a leg up. The Retired teams QB Goff drew a tough assignment vs Balt D as well. The Texans will need some over the top scored from his roster.
Titan 3-3 vs Zimmreapers 2-4....The Reaper Nation has been one of the leagues hardest hit injury teams in the league. But the Chase and Skins might say they have been. The Zimmer team get WR D.Johnson back this week and maybe RB A.Jones if all goes well. But then the QB spot is also a pain in the Reapers ass. Can Watson take the field or will Dobbs or Mayfield have to stand in? The Ups have Hurt/Brown going SNF and that a hard one to overcome. The Titans are 2-1 all time in this match up.

WEEK 6 Results....Vinny claims to spot in HPFL!
Game of the Week...Vinny vs The Enablers was a great show case game. The Crusaders ended up a 406=392 winner with the WR's taking the day. Vinny had a 109-89 advantage lead by A.Thielen with 45 points. The Enablers had RB K.Williams[49 pts.] lead his team but it may have cost him to miss next week due to a ankle injury.
Other HPFL contest....Baton rolled to a 422-331 win over Clark. The Storm finally had WR D.London show up with 39 points. The Baton IDP's had a strong weekend with a 217-172 showing. Zimmer upset the Cruisaders 335-227. Both teams had off weeks but the Saders had the worst of it. The best showing from both teams came from the D side Reapers S J.Melleilus with 35 tallies and Saders LB J.Hicks coming in with 38.
The Dragons fell to the Lightning team 385-322. The Bolts was carried by RB R.Mostert with55 points. The Champs[Up's] ran past the Hunt & Chase team 328-322. Titan was push to the win by teammates Hurts[62 pts.] and Brown[41 pts.] posting 31% of the teams' points. It looked like Mesa was going to overcome the lead that Retired had going in to MNF. By QB Herbert[54 pts.] just couldn't get it done. Texans won 387-378 and QB Goff had a lot to say about that with 75 tallies. Both teams had great D showing lead by Hair LB's Oluokum[49 pts.] and A.Singleton[41 pts.] with Texans LB's Okereke[[44 pts.] and CJ Mosley[37 pts.]
Satan got back to the winning side of thing taking down Pazsky 396-377. WR T.Hill like most weeks lead the way with 59 points. The Phenoms had a open spot on the IDP's and it could have cost him a win. The Beast blew past the Skins 463-378. QB Ridder lead the Nation with60 points along with WR A St.Brown 47 tallies. Both teams might have injuries that might hurt them in week 7. QB Lawerence[knee] on TNF and TE D.Dulcich who just got back from 4 weeks out now had a hamstring issue. RB D.Mongtgomery[ribs] looks like a week 7 miss.
In the picks The Enablers,Baton and Cruisaders went 5-3. Saders move in to the lead at 32-16. In second is Enablers with 30-18 mark. At 29-19 stands Dragons and Mesa.

WEEK 6 Picks....Some old time HPFL contest on tap!
Game of the Week.... Enablers 4-1 vs Vinny 4-1....But first a big show down between two 4-1 teams. Thes two had a go of it in 2022 final weeks. Both battling for a play-off spot. In week 14 the Crusaders won a 406-393 win over the Enablers[only meeting ever] to draw even with. Both still needed a Cruisaders loss to reach the post season[that happen] in week 15. Still the Enablers held the tie breaker with Vinny. Vinny need a win and they got it over Clark 393-292. That left the Enablers having to fall to push Vinny into the post season and they did to the Nation by 64 points. Vinny almost knocked out the top seed in the first round but fell 453-451.5. Frosty hit by the bye week blues and injuries this week. Vinny has a clean roster QB Allen looking to light up NY Giants D. Should be a fun weekend to see who gets this big win!
Other HPFL Contests....
Baton 3-2 vs Clark 2-3....For the secon week in a row the Storm meets a long time HPFL rival. This will be the 20th meeting between Griswold and the Storm with baton leading 11-8. Good RB match up Jacobs/Stevenson vs Etennie/Robinson. So Clarks good O with WR Chase vs the Storms IDP's.
Cruisaders 2-3 vs Zimmreapers 1-4....The Zimm team is going to need the WW to overcome IR issues. On the other side the Saders have on bye week Harris/Watson and Walker. The Cruisaders are 4-0 all time vs Zimmers. Just to much for Luc to fall here.
Dragons 2-3 vs Lightning 3-2....Both of these two made the post season a year ago. Each has 3 wins in 6 meetings. Both are going with back up QB's Stafford[Bolts] and Garoppole[Dragons]. Dragons need TE Waller and RB Barkley to play to get a win here. A clean roster for the Lightning team could get a upset win.
Hunt 2-3 vs Titan 2-3....The Up's are 2-1 all time vs the Chase team. The Champs O needs a big weekend out of Hunts and Brown to hold off Hunt. Up's are short a RB[Conners on IR]. The Chase team has started to right the ship on the O side and could get a big win here.
Mesa 4-1 vs Retired 3-2...Now for the third old time meeting between long time reviles. This is the 23rd meeting between these two teams with the Hair up 13-9. The Texans have won the last three to cut into Gaffs lead. After last weeks loss the Hair gets QB J.Herbert back for bye week. The Texans are starting to get his QB going[Goff] and that could make this a fun contest to watch. Should be a high octane weekend for both.
Pazsky 4-1 vs Satan 3-2....The Phenoms had a phenomenal week 5. The question is can the Pazsky team do the same with injuries and bye week on their rosters? The Party O has a chance to really kill it the week and get that 4th win.
Skins 0-5 vs Beast 1-4....Both teams are fighting not to be in last place after this week is over. The Skins team is a Mash unite with a host of players out including RB R.Johnson and S Thompson. The Nation will reach into the bench have QB Ridder to sub for Jones. This one can go either way but the Skins O could get it done.

WEEK 5 Results.....The Enablers move on top HPFL while Mesa last to fall from the undefeated!
Well Injuries are starting to pile up. Four teams are now 4-1.
In the Game of the Week the Enablers got past the Titans 370-337. The Enablers were led by his WR C.Pickens with 53 points while the IDP's outscored the Up's 165-147. The Up's also loss RB J.Conners[knee] for at least 4 weeks. The Titan had QB/WR combo of Hurt and Brown post 109 points in the loss.
In other HPFL games...
Vinny ran past an injury Skins team 413-347. The Skins have 3 players hit the IR and 4 others on the fence for week 6. The Crusaders IDP's lead the way going 170-140. LB A.Anzalone push a cross 35 tallies. Lightning upset Mesa 424-383 even with a big TNF showing by Gaffs back up QB S.Howell[86 pts.] The Hair O was very quiet with Howell and WR Hopkins[41 pts.] showing up week 5. The Bolts WR's had the weekend going 85-47 lead by S.Diggs[48 pts.].
Hunt won his second game of the season in a row slipping past the Nation 311-283. It was a slow point weekend for both teams as QB R.Willson[52 pts.] and D.Jones[25 pts.] struggled. Jones may also be out in week 6 for the Nation along with 6 other players that are hurting. The Dragons and Reapers also had poor QB performances as Love[ 30 pts.] and Dobbs[32 pts.] made thing tough for both teams. The Dragons did win 361-269 behind S C.Bynum's 30 points that push the dragons IDP 189-152. The Zimm team will be looking deep on the WW after the loss of WR Jefferson[groin], RB K.Herberk[ankle], and LB Judon[bicep] for at least 4 weeks.
Pazsky beat the Cruisdaers 500-377 despite having 5 open roster spots. On TNF WR D.Moore posted 97 points and RB D.Hall ran away with the win on Sunday afternoon with 66 tallies. Clark upset Satan 449-401 lead by the TNF game QB Fields 71 point explosion. Also finally showing up in 2023 WR J.Chase[ 83 pts.]. The Griswold team did get some bad news with the loss of RB D.Achane[56 points] with a knee injury. The Dark one did have another nice weekend by the combo of Tago/Hill 122 points.
Baton kept up the Storms winning ways vs the Texans 445-393. The Retired team struggled on the O side with TE D.Goedert leading the way with 45 points. The Storm finally got some points from the QB spot as J.Brurrow had 79 points.
In the Picks two teams went 5-3[ Enablers/Dragons]. The Enablers and Cruisaders sit on top with a 27-13 mark.

WEEK 5 Picks......The Bye Week blues begin in the NFL
Game of the Week.....
The Enablers 3-1 vs Titan 2-2....Well the Up's have shown some of last season Championship form the last two weeks. Enablers came down to earth last week. These two only meeting was last season's 383-355 win by the Titan in week 12. The Enablers will have to overcome that bye week blues and the Up's have some key injuries. Comes down to IDP's in this match up.
Other HPFL contests.....
Skins 0-4 vs Vinny 3-1.....The Skins are off to a slow start in 2023. Vinny is looking strong. The Skins have never loss to the Crusaders going 4-0. Both have some injuries to watch. Skins have RB J.Willams/ LB Leonard & Bolton while the Crusaders have WR Higgins & WR Beckham. Look out for Kamara and Swift along with QB J.Allen.
Lightning 2-2 vs Mesa 4-0....Gaff has been very strong this season and meets the Bolts who he has owned 4-1-1 all-time. Hair has QB J.Herbert off this week and S.Howell taking his place. While the Bolts sit Prescott for M.Stafford. QB's and injuries will tell the story here,
Hunt 1-3 vs Beast 1-3....Both of these teams post their first win of the season last week. The Nation surprised an undefended Phenoms team. While the Chase team put out the Firebreathers. Last season these two had two meetings and one was a play-off win by the Hunt team 478-315. the Beast has a 3-2 mark vs Chase. The IDP's should push Hunt over the top this week.
Dragons 1-3 vs Zimmreapers 1-3....If the post season is the goal. Then Both need a win this week. Coming in to this one both have 2 wins all-time. The Reapers have both QB's on the beach off so the Zimmers look to J.Dobbs. That going to make this one a very close one but Franks IDP's should get the job done.
Cruisaders 2-2 vs Pazsky's 3-1....After winning his first three games the Phenoms hit a brick wall and failed to rech 300 points. This matchup has both QB's Cousins vs Maholmes on the same field. Saders won last season only meeting 464-422. Luc's IDP's and RB's look to strong to fall this week.
Clark 1-3 vs Satan 3-1..The Party blew up last week while the Griswold team had his best showing of the season. Clark leads this long time HPFL rivalry 8-5. This is a big Tidal divisional match up. Both O's are ready to roll and who get that done should win.
Baton 2-2 vs Retired 3-1....The Texans have too much O to fall here. The Storm dose have the Texans number all time 15-5. Injuries on the Storm side could make this a blow out.

Week 4 Results.....Gaff stands alone the top of the HPFL!
The first Rivalry week was fun and left one of the three undefeated teams left.
Game of the Week....Gaff cut into Luc all time lead with a impressive win 460-377. Mesa O out played the Saders 159-134. But it came down to the Hair IDP's lead by S K.Curls 46 tally's.
Other HPFL games.....
Satan pulled Baton into hell with a 479-311 win. The Party could have beaten any team in the league this week. With best showing of the season by RB Pacheco[52 pts.] and WR N.Collins[67 pts.]. Clark won his first win of the season with a 410-313 win over the Skins. Griswold was lead by QB Fields with 78 points. But what might be even bigger was WW pickup RB D.Achane[46 pts.]
Hunt picked up their first win downing the Dragons 406-371. Big part of that was RB D.Henry best week of the season with 45 points. The Chase team will be fighting to get two D players on the field[Neal/Paye] after suffering concussions. The 2022 HPFL Champs [Titan] got past the 2021 Champs[Lightning] 398-377. Up's were lead by Hurts/A.Brown as the Eagles twosome had 137 points together. Good thing because rest of the O had 62 points. On the D side the Up's were lead by S A.Winfileld who posted 42 points.
The Beast upset Pazsky's 334-297. It was a very bad week up and down the Phenoms roster that lead to his first loss of the season. On the other side of things RB D.Montgomery ran for 53 tally's to give the Beast his first win. Side note fantasy football is a funny thing. QB D.Jones was run in to the ground on MNF but still had 47 points. Super Man QB P.Mahomes, yes had a so so weekend but played much better then Jones and still had 43 points.
Retired ended The Enablers win streak with a 450-398. MNF really pushed the Texans over the top as Wagner/Okereke/Metcalf posted 106 tally's. Tough weekend for the Enabler as RB K.Williams[44 pts.] injured his hip and not known if WR C.Samuel[23 pts.] will play on a short week. It will also be rough with DB C,Gonzalez[4pts] loss for at least 8 weeks with a shoulder injury. Vinny out played Zimmreapers 320-300 with QB J.Allen doing the damage with 81 points. The Reapers also had some bad news with the loss of LB M.Judon[4pts.] for at least 8 weeks.
The picks were so so this week but the Dragons did win the week with a 5-3 record. Six teams went 4-4. The Cruisaders sill lead with a 23-9 mark with 4 teams a game back at 22-10.

WEEK 4 Picks...First Rivalry Week!
Well the first of three-rivalry week here in the HPFL with old teams meet again and big divisional contest as well.
Game of the Week....
Cruisaders 2-1 vs Mesa 3-0....First off, we have a big Phantom divisional contest, a meeting of long time foes and two teams with no love lost when these two meet. Gaff lost to Luc last season in week 15 389-298 but still holds a 10-8 record over all. Both of these team have strong rosters and should roll with a lot of points this week. It really a coin toss game.
The rest HPFL contest this week...
Baton 2-1 vs Satan 2-1,,,Another blood contest between to long time foes. These two battle last in week 14 last season with a Baton win to go 7-5 overall the Party. Baton's O has been up and down this season. Satan has the powerhouse Super duo of Tago/Hill. Both have good IDP's. Hard to tell who will win this death match.
Clark 0-3 vs Skins 0-3....The Skins own a 4-1 mark vs the Griswold team all time. But if a play-off ticket is in the future of either of these team a win maybe a must be this week. The Skins will have to overcome the loss of Balton and Kupp. Both teams QB have had a hard time getting near projected points this season and that maybe the key this week.
Dragons 1-2 vs Hunt 0-3...The Dragons slipped by the Chase team to reach last season HPFL Super Bowl 345-335. The Dragons are 4-3 all time in this series. Another week without RB Barkley could spell trouble for Frank. Other hand the loss of RB Cubb/Dobbins has been no walk in the park for Chase.
Lightning 2-1 vs Titan up 1-2...The last two HPFL Champs meet and this Tidal division battle should be a good one. The Up's reached the Super Bowl last season with a 418-389 win over the Bolts. Each has won 2 games in 4 meetings. After what Allen did against Washingtons D last week it hard not to see Hunts not doing the same. Lightning needs his D to overcome that.
Pazsky's 3-0 vs Nation 0-3...Just the records could be a precursor in this one. In these two only meeting last season was a Beast win in week 3. The Phenoms IDP's should overwhelm the Nation.
Retired 2-1 vs The Enablers 3-0....I know it early in the season but this is a big SandBox divisional show case game. Last season the Enablers rolled out fast with three wins before a week 4 lost to the Skins. Here we are again as Frosty looks for number 4. The only meeting between these two was a week 6 battle that the Enablers won by 2 338-336. Both teams will look to their O's with injuries to their IDP's. Also there is a real shot that a player or two on these O's could really blow up.
Vinny 2-1 vs Zimmreapers 1-2....The Reapers have a 3-1 mark vs the Crusaders all time. QB Alle had a great week last week and his Miami game this week could a track meet as well. Zimmer roster will have to play over their heads to match the Crusaders O.

WEEK #3 Results....3 Teams left at 3-0!
Well Pazsky, Enablers and Mesa are left as the only undefeated teams left. Nice job!
Game of the Week......The Phenom's had a battle with the Dragons but still won 421-412. Pazsky's IDP's lead by LB Z.Franklin[ 55 pts.] out played the Dragons 250-203. The Dragons came closes to a upset wit WR T.Dell 55 tally's.
Other HPFL games....Lightning and Baton had a drag out donnybrook all the way to MNF. In the end the Storm may have won 404-396 but remember the dreaded corrections could change this out come. Bolts were lead by RB R.Mostert 59 points. The Storm IDP's saved the day lead by LB K.White[46 pts.]. The Cruisaders won the 19th all time meeting between Luc and Ben 420-366. Saders were lead by QB K.Cousins 84 points. The Saders also did a great job on the D side going 184-161 with S K.Hamilton 53 points. The Enablers match last season 3-0 start taking down Hunt 520-305 with BiG Big weekend by WR K.Allen with88 points. RB Z.Moss also shined with 41 points.
Mesa kept rolling with a 421-318 win over Zimmreapers. That stud IDP's sold the weekend 198-107. Also QB J.Herbert checked in with 105. Satan slipped past Retired 393-386 as Tago/Hill kept up their great season with 130 points. this was the 15th meeting between these two.
The Champs out scored the Skins 428-373 as Up's WR M.Williams lead the way with 49 points. That the good news and bad news Williams was lost for the season with a torn acl. The Skins had 7 O players with just 51 points while QB Lawrence/D.Adams had 115 together. The Nation fell to 0-3 as Vinny won 391-344. WR A.Thielen[51 pts.] shined in the Crusaders win with his best week of the season.
The picks were top notch as the hole league was on fire. The Titans posted a 8-0 mark and is tied with the Cruisaders and Vinny at 19-5. Three teams posted 7-1 marks Saders,Titans and Vinny.

WEEK 3 Picks....Two old rivalries are on tap!
Game of the Week.....
Pazaky 2-0 vs Dragons 1-1...WELL Maholmes hit a big pay day this week and could celebrate on the field with big numbers! J.Love leads the NFL with 6 TD passes. But the O's might have to step aside this week in this early season meeting. Last season The Fire Breathers won a week 14 meeting.
Othe HPFL contests....
Baton 1-1 vs Lightning 2-0....The Bolts won two meetings last season including a first-round play-off win 385-360. Lightning leads all time 5-3. Both O's should roll this week but the IDP's could push one of these two over the top.
Clark 0-2 vs Cruisaders 1-1....This is one of those long-time rivalry's with Luc taking a 12-6 mark over Ben. The Saders O looks fast with Cousins red hot. The Griswold O has to overcome a season slow start.
Hunt 0-2 vs The Enablers 2-0....One is off to a fast start and the other needs a win. These two meet just one time in week 1 last season with a Enablers 417-366 win. Hunt looks to a QB change in C.Strond get things turned around. Frosty won his first three games last season and looks to do it again in his 2nd season in the HPFL. Cubbs out for the season for Hunt but the Akers trade could mean good things in week 4. Enablers are slowed down by Diggs and Ekeler out this week.
Mesa 2-0 vs Zimmreapers 1-1....Gaffs off to a fast start and meets the Reapers for the 4th time with a 3-1 record. Both have starts questionable in Hopkins and A.Jones. A tough ask to get a upset here with that Hair IDP group.
Retired 2-0 vs Satan 1-1.....This one is these two 15th all time meeting with Satan leading 9-5. Tango/Hill has to have a week one showing to get a Party win here. Too much on both sides of the ball for the old Austin team to fall here?
Skins 0-2 vs Titans 0-2...Wow these two HPFL Champs are off to a very slow started. For the Skins he has never been 0-3 in 6 seasons. Matter of fact the Skins are 13-4 in those seasons. The Skins are hit hard with injury's on both sides of the ball. Up's could get away with a win if his O shows up.
Nation 0-2 vs Vinny 1-1....The Crusaders won a week 6 meeting last season big 438-288. That same thing could happen this week.

In the Game of the Week....
Mesa beat Satan between these 1-0 teams 358-344. The Hair used QB Herbert/WR D.Smith who out played the duel of Tango/Hill 120-64. The Hair lost Z.Jones to a knee injury and he questionable in week 3.
In other HPFL games....
Zimmreapers got past the Nation 427-387 behind RB J.Ford MNF showing of 45 points. Retired moved to 2-0 with a win over last seasons Champs 395-375. The Texans were lead by RB McCaffery who ran for 43 points. Paszky's continued his march to a league title with a 429-331 win over the Skins 429-331. In this one it came down to the IDP's 252-174 advantage lead by LB Z.Franklin's 37 tally's.
The Bolts moved to 2-0 after his RB's J.Cook[ 40 pts.] and R.Mosters[50 pts.] off set Vinny's RB D.Swift TNF showing of 60 points. Lightning ended week 2 with a483-452 win over the Crusaders. The Cruisaders knocked off the Dragons 437-416 behind TNF showing by QB K.Cousins 87 points. Looks like the Dragons might have dodged a bullet with RB S.Barkley ankle injury.
The Enablers keeped on winning taking down Clark 477-383 behind his RB's of Z.Moss/K.Williams posting 71-48 advantage over the Griswold backs. WR's K.Allen and G.Pickens had 97 points together for the Enablers. Baton survived a 458-411 match with Hunt. The Chase team was hurt badly with the loss of RB N.Chubb.
Satan and the Cruisaders had nice weeks going 7-1 in the picks. 12-4 tie for first are the Saders, Vinny and Gaff.

Game of the Week...
Mesa 1-0 vs Satan 1-0....These two have meet 10 time over the years with the Party posting a 6-4 mark. It will be hard to that not to improve with Tang/Hill connection. The Hair has some injuries that could slow Gaff down [ Hopkins, Gainwell and Chark]. This one could go down who KC RB has a bigger Sunday.
In other HPFL contests....
Beast 0-1 vs Zimmreapers 0-1.....Even in week 2 teams are starting to get some injuries. The Reapers Repers will be without WR Johnson[4 weeks], Hill [IR] and maybe RB Jones. The Nation looks to get back TE Kelce but a rebuild IDP maybe not get the Beast a win. Each have 2 wins in 4 contest all time.
Retired 1-0 vs Titan Up 0-1....Just a season agon these two meet in week 2 with a Up's win 366-305. The Up's are 2-1 all time. Even with a few injuries both teams look like all will play this week. I see this one a barn burner on the O side.
Pazsky's 1-0 vs Skins 0-1....This is a good test for the 2nd year team Pazsky who fell to the Skins last season 387-345. This one a hard one to see might have the upper hand with many backups could take major rolls. Fun one to watch as both teams QB meet in Jacksonville this week. The Skins need to get his O going to get a win this week.
Lightning 1-0 vs Vinny 1-0...The 2nd two teams looking to go 2-0 on the season. The Crusaders beat the Bolts last season in week 13 571-321 to cut into Lightning 3-1 mark. This one has run happy Cowboys QB Prescott vs a Bills QB Allen looking to make up for last MNF lost to the Jets. Both O's should roll.
Cruisaders 0-1 vs Dragons 1-0...Last week the Dragons lost his QB at the start of the game and still won. Looking at his now new QB Love to save the season after a trade with Baton. The Saders hold a 3-2 mark coming in to this one. QB Cousins might have thrown blown this one up posting 87 points in TNF game.
Clark 0-1 vs The Enablers 1-0....The Griswold team O could really explode in this one. The Enablers IDP's will have to play better this week to keep up with Clark. The Enablers won last season only meeting between these two 374-314.
Baton 0-1 vs Hunt 0-1...The Storm had a very bad week with very underperforming WR.s. The Chase WR's also had a rough week. Hunt is 3-2 vs the Storm all time. This one will be tight has both teams look to improve their teams.

Week 1 Results...Satan takes down 2022 HPFL Champs in opener
Well week one was fun! The Party beat the Titans 431-421. It did come down to QB/WR combos of Tagovailoa[93 pts.]/Hill[84 pts.].
In other HPFL games....
Pazsky's got past Zimmreapers 399-362 lead by his IDP's and LBZ.Franklin 52 points. The Reapers lost WR Johnson for at least 4 weeks and RB A.Jones is also a big question mark. Both have hamstring issues. Mesa blew past the Skins 422-308 as Gaff IDP's had a 207149 advantage lead by LB R,Smith 49 tally's.
The Dragons lost QB Rodgers but still won 302-198 over the Beast. The Firebreathers used a IDP advantage 191-48 to get the win. The Cruisaders won the Holy Bowl 319-294 over Vinny. The Saders out performed the Crusaders IDP's 189-128 lead by LB D.Davis[39 pts.] and LB P.Queen[28 pts.].
Retired used the combo of 49ers McCaffery and Aiyuk to beat Hunt 430-347. The two 9ers had 111 points together. Hunt lost RB Dobbin's for the season. Lightning used MNF to get by Clark 352-341. WR S.Diggs posted 41 points to get the win. The Enablers upset the Storm 314-294 with his WR's that had a 64-14 advantage. The Enablers did lose DT C.Hayward for the season.

Santan vs Titans....We have Hurt vs Tagovailoa with both teams sporting strong O's. This one will come down to the LB's of the Up's. Love the WR/QB match up's of Tago/Hill and Hurt/Brown.The Titans are 2-1 vs the Party including a week 5 meeting win 353-309.
Other games around the HPFL....
Pazsky's vs Zimmreapers ....Mahomes had a so so TNF opener for him and the questions is could that help the Reapers? The Phenoms IDPs should get them over the top. These two have meet just one time in week 4 that Zimmer won 413-387.
Mesa vs Skins...Here is a fun match up that has Mesa leading 5-3 and last season Gaff won 422-398. The Skins will be without WR Kupp and that will not help. Both have strong IDP's and that where this one will be won.
Hunt vs Retires....These two went to war in the last week of the season in 2022 with a Hunt win 446-409 giving the Chase a 5-1 all time mark. This time around the Texans should get a W with a very good IDP team and some standout O players.
Dragons vs The Beast.... Both teams reach the post season and the Dragons tock part in the Super Bowl. Last time these two meet was week 7 with a Nation win 381-314 and an all-time lead 3-2. As of Friday, the Nation team needs some WW replacement to a underman team. Just to much everything for the Firebreathers to fall.
Cruisaers vs Vinny...The Holy Bowl with the Cruisaders vs the Crusaders. Luc holds a 3-1 mark in this rivalry. There are some key injuries on both sides. Vinny's IDP's IDP's overcome the Saders O?
Clark vs Lightning....The Bolts hold a 3-2 mark vs the Griswold team. This one looks like a tight won and who O cane out play the other. Clark made some WW moves that might get him the upset.
Baton vs Enablers....In these two only meeting had the Enablers win by 8 points in week 11. This could be a big upset. Not a fan of the Storms WR's and the Enablers have the goods on that O side to get this win.

2023 Higher Power Football League Preview
Sorry about Yahoo message board change but we will get along with what we have. Last season the Titan Up's won his first title over the 1st seed Dragons 409-407. The Up's came from the 5th seed to also beat 4ths seed Skins 442-407 and Lightning 418-398. Nice job!
Last season I picked 4 of the 8 play-off teams[Baton,Skins, Bolts &Up's]. Vinny, Dragons, Nation & Hunt did much better.
2023 Predictions....
The league Champs will be in the running in the Tidal Division. The Bolts and Satan will have a hard road to get by the Up's. Pazsky's by far had his best draft ever and it just might get him his first title. Also in the Anne division never count out the Dragons. In the Phantom Division could see three play-off teams. The Skins look to be the division winner. In the SandBox Division Retired and Baton two old timers will battle it out. Hunt has a chance to make a run.
So my Play-off teams are Retired,Titans,Skins and Pazsky's. The Wild card teams are Vinny,Baton,Saders and Dragons. Mesa and Dragons are not to be over looked.
PS Remember to make your picks if you wanted to choses where you pick in the 2024 draft. Greatly helped Luc[Saders] move up to the 1st pick this year. Pete -
