***IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ!!!***
I didn't realize that when I had made some plans earlier last month that I would pick the same weekend as the EoY party. Would anyone object if we moved the EoY party up one more weekend to either Saturday, January 11th or Sunday, January 12th. I do apologize for this, this is totally my fault. If push comes to shove and we cannot move it, it will have to be Sunday, January 5th. Lisa and I are committed to another engagement with a very large group of people but we are the organizers so we can't skip it.
Once again I do apologize. This was totally my fault and if we can't change the date I understand, but it will automatically have to be Sunday, January 5th.
Thank you for your understanding.

Start planning for being at the End-of-Year (EoY) Party either January 4th or 5th, dependent on if or when the Packers play. We have a lot of topics to discuss with some major changes on the way we draft. If you want your opinion to be heard, make sure you show up!

Shaun made a mistake and dropped Arian Foster from his roster. According to the rules, the player either has to retire or have a career-ending injury for his contract to be voided. I added Arian Foster back to his roster and used his IR spot for him. I also gave him back the transaction since it shouldn't have taken place.
Once again I pray that Yahoo! will allow me to create my own No-Cut list to avoid this from happening in the future.

Doug made a mistake and dropped Julio Jones from his roster. He was aware afterward that he shouldn't have dropped him because he is a contract player. According to the rules, the player either has to retire or have a career-ending injury for his contract to be voided. I added Julio Jones back to his roster and as soon as Julio is placed on IR Doug will use his IR spot for him. I also gave him back the transaction since it shouldn't have taken place. If only Yahoo! would allow me to alter the No-Cut list... I think I'll ask them that for an improvement next year! I'd love to create my own Do-Not-Cut list like MyFantasyLeague did.

RULES ABOUT PLAYOFFS!!! THIS IS YAHOO'S OWN WAY OF TIE BREAKERS!!!
Division Leader Tiebreakers
If two or more teams tie for the lead in a division, the following tiebreakers will be used to determine the division winner.
Division winning percentage.
Total fantasy points (season total).
Fantasy points scored in last week's matchup.
Fantasy points scored in the matchup two weeks prior.
The comparison continues until the tie is broken or no more weeks remain to compare. At that time, a coin flip will settle the tie.
Please note:
Teams must have identical winning percentages to be considered tied in the standings.
A team with an 8-4-1 (.654) record will be seeded ahead of a team with an 8-5 (.615) record.
A team with an 8-6 (.571) record will be tied with a team with a 6-4-4 (.571) record.
If three or more teams tie for a division lead, once the division winner is determined, all other teams involved in the tie are then seeded using the wild-card tiebreaking criteria.
In leagues that use divisions and use the playoff seeding option "All teams seeded according to overall standings," the wild-card tiebreaking criteria will be used to break all ties, including those that involve a division winner.
Division winners that finish with the same winning percentage will be seeded using the wild-card tiebreaking criteria.
Division winning percentage is determined in the same way as overall winning percentage, except it only includes games against division opponents.
Depending on your league's settings it is possible to have a better record than a team leading another division but still have a lower seed.
Wild Card Tiebreakers
If two or more teams tie for a wild-card (non-division leading) position, the following tiebreakers will be used to determine the standings
Total fantasy points (season total).
Fantasy points scored in last week's matchup.
Fantasy points scored in the matchup two weeks prior.
The comparison continues until the tie is broken or no more weeks remain to compare. At that time, a coin flip will settle the tie.
Please note:
In public leagues, if a game it tied, it will be scored as a tie. In private leagues, if a game it tied, it will be up to the commissioner to decide to allow ties, or create a tiebreaker rule.
In leagues where division winners are guaranteed a playoff spot, wild card teams are selected without consideration for divisions. Non-division winners will be ranked in the playoffs according to winning percentage or the tiebreakers listed above.
It is not possible for a commissioner to configure a league to require a balanced number of teams from each division in the playoffs.
Head-to-Head results are not considered when breaking a tie at the end of the regular season.
Yahoo! uses these tiebreakers to determine the order of the standings during the regular season, as well as for determining the final playoff seeds.
It is not possible for commissioners to change the season tiebreaking criteria for their league.
Additional Information
Head-to-Head - Including Divisions with division seeding options: Playoff Seeding Options can be set by the commissioner from the "Edit League Settings" page. When using divisions, the commissioner can choose:
To award division winners the top seeds
Advance division winners but seed all teams according to overall standings
Seed all teams regardless of divisions based on overall standings.
***WE HAVE AGREED ON ADVANCING DIVISION WINNERS BUT SEED ALL TEAMS ACCORDING TO OVERALL STANDINGS***

Let's start a discussion about rule changes. I think the idea is a facelift to the rules, refresh them a bit. I would like everyone to post what changes they'd like to see and let's get an idea about what rules can be changed to further better this league!

The GBDML 2013 schedule has been created. In order to try to balance the divisional games with bye weeks (since the NFL has gone to 100 bye weeks in a season it's fucked a lot of shit up) I scheduled the first two weeks as divisional "Rivalry Week" games since there are no byes. Then during Week 6 & 7 there are only two teams per week on bye so I scheduled the remaining team you haven't faced and the team from Week 1. Then on Week 11 there are also only two teams on bye so I scheduled the team from Week 2 for that "Rivalry Week". Then, of course, the last game of the season (which has no teams on bye in the NFL, believe it or not) is against the team from Week 6.
This should even out the schedule for the important divisional games, since you'll face each team in your division weakened by byes (the least number of byes for the week) once and then at full strength (barring injuries) once.
PEACE MUTHAFUCKAS!!!!
