Commish Notes

  • Hi League,

    This is probably going to be the last commissioner's note for this season. I just want to thank everyone again for playing this year, and congratulations to aut vincere aut mori for winning first place this year.

    I plan on restarting this league again next year with a complete redraft. I will (hopefully remember) to send out invites to everyone currently in the league a little earlier than I did this year, with the plan to have the draft around labor day weekend.

    Thanks again everyone, and I hope to see you all back next season.

  • Hello again league,

    Thanks for making this league both friendly and competitive this year. Congratulations to those who made the playoffs, either the championship or consolation bracket. If you didn't make the playoffs or finish as well as you like, there is always next year. Hopefully next time I will remember to renew the league before the Monday before kickoff.

    I know that since most of us are strangers to each other there isn't a great deal of interaction in the league, but hopefully you find that this format is still an exciting way to play fantasy football. If anyone has any suggestions they think might help improve the league in the future, I'm all ears.

  • Hello everyone,

    For those returning from last year, welcome back! There are no keeper settings enabled, so it will be a complete re-draft. New players, this should operate pretty much as a fresh league to you.

    I have tweaked a couple of things from last year, however. Instead of a Q/W/R/T spot and a W/R/T spot, there will simply be two W/R/T flex positions. Hoarding QB's will probably still happen with only two possible QB slots, but maybe this will help a little. Also note that the -2 points for interceptions thrown is still in effect. Also, the pick selection clock will only be set for 1 minute instead of the usual 1:30 to hopefully move the 22 round draft along a little faster.
