CONGRATULATIONS to the teams who made the playoffs. Here are the up coming games in the Championship Bracket. The first game has the #3 placed team WALLYWOOD, going against the #6 placed team POMAGRANATES. The other game will be the #4 placed team and defending Champion LORDS OF BURTTOWN against the #5 placed team TOILETROCKERS. Those are 2 great games to start the playoff season.
The next two teams won their respected Divisions. They are already making money and are GUARANTEED to the final four with a first round bye. The winner of the Western Division and also the winner of the total points in the regular season. That is another $10 in the owner pockets. BREAKING BAD ASSES has came back to the league focused and ready to win! They are in 2nd place. The #1 Team going into the playoffs are the BURT BOMBERS!
Here is a reminder how the payouts will be distributed.
1ST = $250
2ND = $125
3RD = $75
4TH = $50
5TH = $40
6TH = $30
Division Winners will receive $10 each. Whoever has the highest overall point total for the regular season will also receive $10.

Its the last week of the regular season gentlemen. Congratulations to the teams that have made the playoff's and good luck to the teams who are still in the hunt for the final 2 spots.
To answer the question if "The League" will be around next year,... the answer is ABSOLUTLY. "The League" is in great shape. Hopefully, we will be able to renew our radio sponsorship with WTLG and also with television and Olive Garden.

Hello Owners!
The season is about at its halfway point. We at "The League" are proud of the TV ratings and hope that with the great competition that is on the field, it will keep growing. No, we are NOT looking into spreading our market into the European markets, well not as of yet.
The main subject matter for this is.... There are teams that have not paid their dues. If they are not paid by next week I will send a nasty email. Those of you who have paid there dues THANK YOU! The one's who have not... Get on it!

Today is the day we as "The League" have been waiting for... The first NFL game for the year. I have a few reminders for everyone.
Today the two words of the day is " Don't Procrastinate"!
1) ONLY about half of the league has paid their fees. PLEASE PAY THEM!
2) Make sure you have your line ups set.
3) I emailed everyone, about the prize for the League Pick'em. Its fun and what do you have to lose? You can only gain. Make sure it is completed before the first game of the week starts. (Tonight)

Hello General Managers!!!
We at the "The League" world headquarters are happy to announce that whoever wins the overall for the League Pick'em will win a $20 dollar gift card from Olive Garden. YES!!! This is true. You can take out your wife, girlfriend, mistress or for some of you..... mothers and look like you are worth a million bucks by telling your date that they can order more then just the soup and salad.

The time has come to choose if you are going to keep a player from your last years team or not. The deadline is 11:59pm pacific time tomorrow (August 26th). Contact me if you need help with this. I am keeping all the owners decisions with Keepers confidential until after the cutoff date has past. Then I will announce afterword's.

Wednesday August 26, 2015, is set as your league's deadline for declaring your keepers. You can make and edit your selections until 11:59pm PT on Tuesday August 25, 2015.

Hello Everyone! This is the Commissioner and I would like to welcome you to the 2015 Fantasy Football Season! Lets congratulate the 2014 Champion Daniel Allen Smith the owner of the team Lords of Burttown.! (Crickets chirping)….
We do have a traveling trophy that goes to stay with the winner of “The League”. The winner IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CARE OF THIS TROPHY. While in your care and it gets damaged or you lose it, that owner will replace that trophy at the FULL COST to replace it including the engraving. Sorry to be blunt about this but the trophy wasn’t cheap.
We do have a new, or you can say, a returning owner this year. The Burt Crusaders Football team could not fill their seats in the new stadium they built and have filed for bankruptcy. Taking their place is a returning owner who has a winning record of 33-23. That’s a winning percentage of 58.9%. That ranks in the top 5 in “The League”. Ladies and Gentleman lets welcome the owner who came running back to the Commish with his “Tail” between his legs…..The one and thank God only!!!....... Mike Fox!!!!!!! The Western Division just got a whole lot tougher.
The deadline to choose a Keeper player is Wednesday the 26th of August. You can choose a player before that. If that player gets injured in the preseason, you can change your keeper or choose not to have him, just as long as it is before the deadline. Our draft date is on Wednesday September 2th at 8pm… I will post later what draft position you are drafting in. I highly recommend that every owner does a mock draft or two. Yahoo is trying a new system for drafting and it looks TOTALLY different. You have been warned…
Pay your season dues. There are only 3 teams that have paid so far. They are the WallyWorld, Evil Clowns and the Burt Bombers. Everyone should have their $50 in before the Wednesday September 2nd. DRAFT DAY. I can stop by to pick it up, Mail it to me or I have a Paypal Acct you can send it to.

The first round will go 1-12. Whoever picks a keeper player, that player will be your 1st round draft pick. The 2nd round will also go 1-12, then it starts snaking.. 3rd round 12-1, 4th round 1-12, 5th 12-1 and so on.
REMINDER!! The Evil Clowns and 100 Percenters traded draft picks for the 3rd and 4th rounds
