  • Chiefs do new deal with LS James Winchester
    Chiefs re-signed LS James Winchester.

Advice: Winchester, 27, has been the Chiefs' long snapper for the past two seasons. He had a trying 2016 season that saw his father senselessly murdered in an Oklahoma City airport shooting back in November. 43 minutes ago

  • Carroll says concern over Prosise durability
Coach Pete Carroll admitted there are concerns about C.J. Prosise's durability.

Advice: "I can’t tell you that I'm not concerned about C.J.," Carroll said. "He had trouble through the offseason. He was unavailable to us throughout, and there was a groin and a hammy and a wrist and the scapula thing he had. He has to show it." Durability concerns are probably the one thing that could hold Prosise back from being an every-down player, limiting him to 12-15 touches. Today, 8:03 am

  • Dion Lewis a non-factor in win over Pittsburgh
Dion Lewis tallied 11 yards on six carries while securing both of his targets for eight yards Sunday in the Patriots' AFC Championship Game win over the Steelers.

Advice: Lewis emerged as New England’s clear lead back last week but played fewer snaps than both LeGarrette Blount and James White Sunday against Pittsburgh. New England’s run game was nonexistent until the second half and at that point the Patriots mostly leaned on Blount to kill clock. No team is more game-plan-dependent than the shape-shifter Patriots. We’ll see what they cook up against Atlanta in Super Bowl LI. Yesterday, 7:23 pm

  • Mohamed Sanu scores TD in NFCCG
Mohamed Sanu caught 5-of-7 targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons' NFC Championship Game victory over the Packers.

Advice: Sanu added a seven-yard rush out of the Wild Cat formation. The Falcons' No. 2 receiver on paper, Sanu is really just a role player in an offense that spreads the ball around like few in recent memory. A big game in Super Bowl 51 is highly unlikely. Yesterday, 3:51 pm

  • Michael Floyd mothballed for AFC title game
Patriots WR Michael Floyd is a healthy scratch for the AFC Championship Game.

Advice: Floyd was dreadful in last week's win over the Texans, and is paying the price with everything on the line for the Patriots this evening. Malcolm Mitchell is active, and should return to his pre-Floyd snaps/usage level. Yesterday, 2:14 pm
