  • Eric Ebron aiming for 1,000 yards in 2017
Eric Ebron said his goal for 2017 is to stay healthy and reach 1,000 receiving yards.

Advice: Ebron hasn't played all 16 games in a season since being drafted No. 10 overall in 2014. He missed three games this year with knee and ankle injuries and played hurt much of the first half of the season. Ebron still managed to set career-highs in catches (61) and yards (711) while cutting down on his drops. Only two tight ends managed 1,000 yards in 2016. Ebron can become a fantasy asset in 2017 if he stays healthy and gets more involved in the red zone. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:38 am

  • Albert Wilson catches 5-yard TD in defeat
Albert Wilson caught 2-of-3 targets for three yards and one touchdown in the Chiefs' Divisional Round loss to the Steelers.

Advice: Wilson got the scoring started with a five-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter on a play-action rollout by Alex Smith. Wilson's other catch was a failed screen. The Chiefs' No. 4 receiver much of the year, Wilson finishes with 33 catches for 282 yards and three scores. He'll be a restricted free agent. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:33 pm

  • Chris Conley catches two passes in loss
Chris Conley caught 2-of-3 targets for 19 yards in the Chiefs' Divisional Round loss to the Steelers.

Advice: Conley's biggest grab was a 12-yard catch over the middle on 4th-and-8 in the fourth quarter. Later on the same drive, he took a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit from S Sean Davis to draw a 15-yard penalty and help set up Spencer Ware's short touchdown run to make it 18-16, which was the final score. Conley managed to improve on his rookie-year numbers, posting a 46-549 receiving line, but he was held out of the end zone all season. Conley has a mouthwatering blend of size and speed, but it's wasted in this offense that doesn't attack deep. He's still just 24 and remains a Dynasty hold. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:32 pm

  • Tyreek Hill totals 45 yards in loss to PIT
Tyreek Hill caught 4-of-6 targets for 27 yards in the Chiefs' Divisional Round loss to the Steelers.

Advice: He added three carries for 18 yards. The Chiefs tried to get Hill going and needed him to make at least one big play if they were going to win this game. It didn't happen. Hill had a fine rookie year, rushing for 285 yards and three touchdowns while posting a 65-620-6 receiving line. He also scored three touchdowns as a return man, being named a first-team All-Pro there. Hill is electrifying in the open field and can score from anywhere. Still, he might not have a position and is probably someone to sell high on in Dynasty leagues. It'll be hard to repeat this season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:26 pm

  • Jeremy Maclin catches two passes in loss
Jeremy Maclin caught 2-of-4 targets for 28 yards in the Chiefs' Divisional Round loss to the Steelers.

Advice: His biggest catch was a 20-yard grab on the right sideline right at the first-down marker on a 3rd-and-20 play following a Travis Kelce personal foul penalty. It set up a Cairo Santos field goal. Maclin had a really rough second season in Kansas City. He missed four games with a groin injury and never caught more than six passes in a game. He answered a 92-1,140-8 season last year with a meager 46-564-2 campaign in 2016. He took a back seat to Travis Kelce, who became the Chiefs' No. 1 option. And rookie Tyreek Hill was schemed the ball multiple ways, which also played a role in Maclin's down numbers. Maclin turns 29 in May and has three years left on his deal. He's more of a WR3/4 as long as Alex Smith is the quarterback. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:20 pm

  • Travis Kelce goes 5-77 in Divisional Round L
Travis Kelce caught 5-of-7 targets for 77 yards in the Chiefs' Divisional Round loss to the Steelers.

Advice: The Chiefs got Kelce the ball on a couple shovel passes, with one picking up a good chunk of yards but the other being stuffed for a minimal gain inside the 10-yard line. Kelce also had a horrible drop on deep ball down the middle in the third quarter and took out his frustration two plays later with a dumb personal foul penalty to make it 3rd-and-20. At the end of the day, Kelce's stat line was respectable and he had a great individual season, leading all tight ends with 1,125 yards and finishing one catch behind Dennis Pitta's 86 grabs for the position lead. Kelce scored just four touchdowns but clearly became the Chiefs' top pass-game option in his fourth pro season. Kelce is locked up through 2021 and just turned 27. He and Rob Gronkowski are fantasy's top two tight ends. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:14 pm

  • Eli Rogers catches five balls for 27 yards
Eli Rogers caught 5-of-7 targets for 27 yards in the Steelers' Divisional Round win over the Chiefs on Sunday.

Advice: Rogers' seven targets were the second-most on the team behind Antonio Brown's 11, but Jesse James out-gained him 83-27 on the same amount of grabs. As the slot man, Rogers does most of his work near the line of scrimmage. He was stopped for a one-yard gain inside the five-yard line on a 3rd-and-2 play in the first quarter, and the Steelers ultimately kicked a field goal on 4th-and-1. Rogers won't be an attractive fantasy play next week at the Patriots. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:11 pm

  • Charcandrick West totals 13 yards in defeat
Charcandrick West rushed one time for -1 yards in the Chiefs' Divisional Round loss to the Steelers.

Advice: He caught two balls for 14 yards, with one coming on a swing pass in the red zone to help set up Spencer Ware's fourth-quarter touchdown. West made a few spot starts this season in place of an injured Ware, but he didn't top 58 yards rushing in any of the four, finishing the year with 89 carries for 292 yards (3.3 YPC) and one touchdown. West is signed through 2018 but isn't a threat to play much of an increased role next season and could even lose some work. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:08 pm

  • Jesse James piles up 83 yards in win over KC
Jesse James caught 5-of-6 targets for 83 yards in the Steelers' Divisional Round win over the Chiefs on Sunday.

Advice: With Ladarius Green still out with a concussion, James was one of Ben Roethlisberger's favorite targets. A Chiefs defense that usually smothers tight ends bit on a few deceptive plays from the Steelers, leaving James wide open for a couple big gains down the middle of the field. The 83 yards were James' most in a game this season. Green could be back for next weekend. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:05 pm

  • Spencer Ware scores late touchdown in defeat
Spencer Ware rushed eight times for 35 yards and one touchdown in the Chiefs' Divisional Round loss to the Steelers.

Advice: He "added" two catches for one yard and lost a fumble on one of those just before halftime. It didn't end up mattering much. His touchdown run came from one yard out deep in the fourth quarter to pull the score to 18-16, but the Chiefs ultimately failed on the two-point conversion after a penalty. Ware really struggled much of the second half of the season after a Week 8 concussion. Fatigue was probably the biggest reason, as this was his first full season as the No. 1 back. The Chiefs will probably look for someone to compete with Ware next season, if they end up releasing Jamaal Charles, though Charles could later be brought back on a more team-friendly deal. • Chris Boswell's 6 FGs send Steelers to AFCCG
Chris Boswell converted 6-of-6 field goals in the Steelers' 18-16, Divisional Round win over the Chiefs on Sunday night.

Advice: He accounted for all of the Steelers' points, making field goals from 22, 38, 36, 45, 43, and 43 yards out. The Chiefs scored the two touchdowns this game saw, but they still weren't able to overcome Pittsburgh. Boswell, Ben Roethlisberger, Le'Veon Bell, Antonio Brown and Co. will head to Foxboro next weekend for the AFC Championship game against the Patriots. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:20 pm

Chiefs declared RB Knile Davis, DL T.J. Barnes, QB Tyler Bray, LB Victor Ochi, OL Mike Person, TE Ross Travis and CB D.J. White inactive for Sunday's Divisional Round game against the Steelers.

Advice: Eric Berry (Achilles), Tamba Hali (knee), Justin Houston (knee) and Spencer Ware (rib) are all active. In fact, none of those four were even listed on the Chiefs' final injury report. Sunday's game was originally scheduled for 1:05 PM ET but was pushed back to 8:20 due to icy conditions in Kansas City. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:09 pm

  • Larry Donnell hoping to be back in New York
Impending free agent Larry Donnell is hoping to be back with the Giants next season.

Advice: "It would be an honor," said Donnell. "I started here. I'd love to finish here." Donnell played scarcely this year while falling behind Will Tye on the tight end depth chart. He didn't catch a pass after Week 7 and was only targeted once over his final eight games. The Giants seem likely to move on. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:26 am

  • James White catches 19-yard TD pass
James White caught his lone target for a 19-yard touchdown in the Patriots' Divisional Round win over the Texans.

Advice: Working as the Patriots’ clear No. 3 back in this game, White logged only three first-half snaps and zero touches behind Dion Lewis and LeGarrette Blount. White’s only touch occurred on a third-quarter wheel route, beating Texans ILB Bernardrick McKinney for a 19-yard score. The odd man out in New England's backfield, White now looks to be buried behind Lewis (15 touches) and Blount (8). Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:17 pm

  • Ware practicing in full for Divisional Round
Spencer Ware (ribs) is practicing in full for the Divisional Round.

Advice: Ware sat out Week 17 as a maintenance maneuver with one eye on the Divisional Round. Ware faded in the second half this season, and the Steelers have stiffened against the run. Nevertheless, Ware will be as defensible as anyone else in a four-game DFS slate.Daily Slant: Ware should remain the feature back against a PIT run defense that was very strong in the second half of the year. Out of the six running backs who had at least 12 carries against them over the past eight games, only one averaged more than 2.7 yards per carry (Isaiah Crowell). The rest of the list, which includes LeSean McCoy (12 carries for 27 yards) and Jay Ajayi (16 carries for 33 yards), were all held to 57 total rushing yards or less. Of course, there isn't a ton of depth at the position in fantasy, but it's a really tough spot to target. Even though Ware is a safe bet for 15-20 touches, it may be worth paying up this week. Spencer Ware (ribs) is practicing on Wednesday.

  • Eli Rogers has one-catch game in WC round
Eli Rogers caught his lone target for 19 yards in the Steelers' Wild Card win over the Dolphins.

Advice: Rogers wasn't a factor, rotating with no-names DeMarcus Ayers, Cobi Hamilton and Darrius Heyward-Bey. He'll be a bottom-dollar, but inadvisable, DFS option for the Divisional Round. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 1:32 pm

  • Ebron drops at least two in Wild Card loss
Eric Ebron hauled in 2-of-6 targets for 23 yards in the Lions' Wild Card loss to the Seahawks.

Advice: At least two of the missed connections were drops, and he did not record a catch in the second half. It is a fitting end for Ebron, who once again flashed big-time upside as a pass catcher but also missed three games due to injury and disappeared for big stretches when healthy. Ebron did post new career-highs in catches (61) and yards (711), but he found the end zone just twice, and one of those was on the ground. The Lions will have to decide by May 3 whether to pick up Ebron's fifth-year option for 2018, which will cost somewhere north of $8 million due to his top-10 status. Detroit will likely activate the option, but it is not a slam dunk. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 9:43 pm

Sammie Coates (hamstring) wasn't listed on the Steelers' final injury report for Sunday's Wild Card game against the Dolphins.

Advice: He's ready to go after putting in a full week of practice. Coates missed Weeks 16 and 17 with a hamstring injury. Coates has been a non-factor for months and won't be an appealing DFS option this week. Rotoworld.com Jan 6, 12:12 pm
