  • James Conner slated to return in Week 15
NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports James Conner (shoulder) is expected to return for Week 15 against the Bills.

Advice: Conner will attempt to return from a three-game absence when the Steelers host Buffalo next Sunday night, though it's anyone's guess how long he'll last playing through a shoulder injury that could eventually necessitate surgery. It's unclear if he'd return to a featured role or if the Steelers would limit Conner's exposure by employing him in a committee with Benny Snell and Jaylen Samuels. When and if he returns, Conner will by no means be a must-start playing at much less than full strength. Rotoworld.com 14 minutes ago

  • Dante Pettis inactive against Saints
Dante Pettis (knee) is inactive for Week 14 against the Saints.

Advice: Pettis returned to a pair of limited practices this week but still isn't ready to play. It's been a lost sophomore year with Pettis turning in an 11-109-2 line on 24 targets. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:45 am

  • Stafford (back) among Lions inactives Sunday
Lions declared QB Matthew Stafford, OG Oday Aboushi, CB Jamal Agnew, OG Beau Benzschawel, DE Austin Bryant, DT Da’Shawn Hand and CB Michael Jackson inactive for Week 14 against the Vikings.

Advice: Stafford doesn't appear any closer to returning from his fractured back. With Detroit's season already a lost cause, it's a surprise the Lions haven't already stashed him on injured reserve. Agnew (ankle), Bryant (hip) and Hand (ankle) are also hurt while Aboushi, Benzschawel and Jackson are healthy scratches. CB Rashaan Melvin (ribs) will play through his questionable tag. Advice: A late addition in free agency, Yeldon has provided nothing this season. Although he is signed for $1.4 million in 2020, he will almost certainly be thrown back into the player pool. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:40 am

Advice: Kenny Stills will presumably shift back into Houston's starting lineup as a usage-based WR3/4 opposite DeAndre Hopkins. Friendly reminder Stills played on 93 percent of the Texans' offensive snaps in his past three games without Fuller, averaging a hefty 5.3 targets per game. Advice: Chase McLaughlin will kick for as long as Vinatieri remains sidelined. The good news for the Colts is they'll get both Marlon Mack and Parris Campbell back. This game has sneaky-shootout potential: Only Chiefs-Patriots (49.5) and Panthers-Falcons (48) have a higher game total than Colts-Buccaneers (47.5) Rotoworld.com Today, 8:38 am

Advice: The Buccaneers will continue to roll with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Breshad Perriman inside of three-WR sets. They're set up well as three-point favorites at home against the Colts' middling secondary. Panthers declared DE Christian Miller, DT Woodrow Hamilton, TE Greg Olsen, OT Greg Little, OL Chris Reed, DT Stacy McGee, and CB Corn Elder as inactives for Week 14 against the Falcons.

Advice: Olsen was unfortunately knocked out last week and was unable to get out of the concussion protocol a week later. He'll need to get in a full practice before playing. • Vikes 'optimistic' Thielen returns in Week 15
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms Adam Thielen (doubtful, hamstring) will not play Week 14 against the Lions.

Advice: Thielen will watch this one from the sidelines, marking his fifth absence in a six-game span. Despite being bothered by scar tissue in his leg, "all parties are optimistic" Thielen will be back in the saddle for next week's game in Los Angeles. In the interim, Stefon Diggs and Bisi Johnson will continue to serve as Minnesota's top receivers with tight end Kyle Rudolph also occupying an important role, particularly inside the red zone where his 6'6," 265-pound frame makes him a difficult assignment. • Fuller (hamstring) expected to miss Week 14
Will Fuller (questionable, hamstring) is not expected to play Week 14 against the Broncos.

Advice: Slowed by a hamstring injury that first popped up in mid-October, the field-stretching 25-year-old is headed for his fourth absence of 2019. The setback continues a frustrating trend for Fuller, who has rarely been healthy throughout his four-year career. In his absence, expect DeAndre Hopkins and Kenny Stills to work outside with either DeAndre Carter or Keke Coutee (a healthy scratch the past two weeks) operating the slot. Dante Pettis (knee) is questionable for Week 14 against the Saints.

  • Will Fuller gets questionable tag for Week 14
Will Fuller (hamstring) is questionable for Week 14 against the Broncos.

Advice: Fuller didn't get in much practice time after having a setback with his hamstring. He's one of the bigger Week 14 question marks, though it looks like he's on track to play. Fuller is at risk of re-injury and reduced snaps if he's active, making him a risky play for the first round of the fantasy playoffs. Rotoworld.com Friday, 4:19 pm

  • Adam Vinatieri (knee) officially out vs. TB
Adam Vinatieri (knee) is out for Week 14 against the Bucs.

Advice: This was expected after Vinatieri was forced into the MRI machine and into doctor's offices all week. It's uncertain if Vinatieri will miss the rest of the season, which could put an end to his Hall of Fame career. The Colts will plug Chase McLaughlin into the starting spot after winning a waiver claim on him earlier in the week. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:55 am

Buccaneers WR Scotty Miller (hamstring) is out for Week 14 against the Colts.

Advice: It's Miller's second week on the sideline. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin will handle most looks with TE O.J. Howard, WR Breshad Perriman, and the running backs operating as secondary targets. Perriman is coming off season-highs in catches (5) and yards (87). Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:34 am

  • Greg Olsen (concussion) officially out
Greg Olsen (concussion) is out for Week 14 against the Falcons.

Advice: This was the expected outcome for Olsen, who was lost to a concussion in Week 13. Interim coach Perry Fewell has said the team will employ a committee at tight end with Ian Thomas, Chris Manhertz and Alex Armah all slated for reps against Atlanta. Thomas secured four catches after Olsen exited against the Redskins, making him an acceptable streamer for Week 14. Manhertz is merely a blocker while Armah is a fullback by trade. Adam Thielen (hamstring) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.

Advice: Thielen failed to practice this week and is now all but certain but to miss a fourth straight game. He's followed up a streak of 87 straight appearances by missing five of Minnesota's last six contests. • 'No sense to push it' with Thielen's hammy
Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said there's "really no sense to push it" with Adam Thielen's injured hamstring.

Advice: "I think he’s getting really close, but there’s really no sense to push it," said Zimmer following Thursday's practice, which did not include Thielen. "We’ll see how it goes next week or, uh, tomorrow." The latter statement would indicate Thielen is in danger of missing his fourth straight game. Though Zimmer insists there's been no setback, Thielen doesn't seem to be making much progress in his recovery from a strained hamstring. With Thielen in doubt, look for Stefon Diggs, Bisi Johnson and a resurgent Kyle Rudolph to fill the Vikings' pass-catching void Sunday against Detroit. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:31 am

  • Vikings not ruling Thielen out for Week 14
Vikings coach Mike Zimmer is not ruling out Adam Thielen (hamstring) for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Advice: "I think he’s got a good opportunity this week (to play), so we’ll see," Zimmer said Thursday. "He’s working really hard. He obviously wants to get out there with his guys. ... When he's ready, he's ready." Thielen has played just once since Week 7, but Zimmer said he hasn't had any recent setbacks. Despite Zimmer's optimistic language, Thielen's back-to-back DNPs on Wednesday/Thursday bode poorly for his odds of suiting up, especially in such an easily-winnable game. • James Conner (shoulder) ruled out for Week 14
James Conner (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 14 against the Cardinals.

Advice: Conner, who has barely played since Week 8, will miss his third straight game, and fifth in six weeks. The early rule out does not bode well for his Week 15 status. Benny Snell is hammering away on early downs in Conner's absence, with Jaylen Samuels continuing in his change-of-pace role. Stashing Conner makes sense if you are on bye or don't need the roster spot for Week 14, but he is a defensible drop if you are desperate to clear a space. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:57 am

Dante Pettis (knee) returned to 49ers practice Thursday.

Advice: Coach Kyle Shanahan has already said that Pettis will miss Week 14, though he now appears likely to return for Week 15. It will be to a value-less role in fantasy football. Pettis' 2019 has been disastrous enough that his 53-man roster spot shouldn't be taken for granted for 2020. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:47 am

  • Adam Vinatieri (knee) doubtful for Sunday
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero confirms Adam Vinatieri (knee) is unlikely to play Week 14 against the Buccaneers.

Advice: Vinatieri is battling a knee injury, which reportedly required an MRI. The 46-year-old (soon to be 47) has been a liability this season, missing a combined 14 field goals and extra points for Indianapolis. Chase McLaughlin, claimed off waivers from San Francisco earlier this week, will be in line to kick Sunday at Tampa Bay. • Paul Richardson (hamstring) remains DNP
Paul Richardson (hamstring) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice.

Advice: That's not a particularly promising sign for his Week 14 availability. With Richardson absent and Trey Quinn lost to a concussion, the Redskins went with Terry McLaurin, Kelvin Harmon and Steven Sims in three-wide sets last week at Carolina. No wonder Dwayne Haskins threw for only 147 yards in that game. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:25 am

  • Adam Thielen (hamstring) DNP again Thursday
Adam Thielen (hamstring) didn't practice again Thursday.

Advice: Thielen doesn't seem particularly likely to return this week. Stefon Diggs gained at least 140 yards in each of Weeks 6-8. He's since failed to clear even 50 yards in three of four games. Diggs still has a sky-high ceiling; only Terry McLaurin (44%), Tyreek Hill (43%) and Courtland Sutton (42%) own a higher percentage of their team's air yard market share than Diggs (40%). Still, this is a tough matchup against Darius Slay, and Kirk Cousins hasn't gone out of his way to feed Diggs copious amounts of targets with Thielen sidelined. Treat the Vikings' No. 1 WR as more of an upside WR2 vs. a locked-in WR1 in this tough draw. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:24 am

Greg Olsen (concussion) didn't practice again Thursday.

Advice: Olsen is tentatively expected to miss this game after seemingly being knocked out cold on the field in Week 13. This means Ian Thomas should step into a near every-down role. He functioned as the PPR TE6 with Olsen sidelined from Weeks 14-17 last season and is a great streamer option against the Falcons' mediocre secondary. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:18 am

  • Adam Vinatieri (knee) limited Wednesday
Colts K Adam Vinatieri (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday.

Advice: Vinatieri reportedly had a flare-up in Week 13 warmups which led to three costly missed field goals. As a result, the Colts claimed K Chase McLaughlin on Wednesday. Vinatieri is, at best, questionable for Week 14 now that he's getting MRIs and speaking to doctors. • Stafford's back is healing 'as it should'
Matthew Stafford said his back injury won't be an issue in 2020 or beyond.

Advice: Stafford remains week to week, but he said his back is healing "as it should". His comments make a 2019 return possible, although it seems more likely that he takes the rest of the season off. Luckily, it seems like this is a short-term injury and not something more serious. • Will Fuller (hamstring) limited Wednesday
Will Fuller (hamstring) was a limited participant for Wednesday's practice.

Advice: It's the same injury that kept Fuller out from Weeks 8-11. The speedy wideout has since hauled in 8-of-13 targets for 148 yards since returning on Thursday night against the Colts. He'll be in a much better matchup on the perimeter against the Broncos this Sunday, but he'll remain a boom-or-bust WR3 given his disastrous floor. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 2:34 pm

  • Thielen (hamstring) 'DNP' for walkthrough
Adam Thielen (hamstring) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice.

Advice: Dalvin Cook (chest/shoulder) was also listed as a limited participant. Cook has reiterated he'll play numerous times this week, but Thielen's injury is more ominous since he was limited prior to Monday's contest and still couldn't make it back in time. • James Conner (shoulder) limited on Wednesday
James Conner (shoulder) remained limited for Wednesday's practice.

Advice: It's an encouraging sign for his availability against the Cardinals since he's eyeing a full week of practice. Third-round rookie Benny Snell has been featured on 65 percent of Pittsburgh's carries without Conner the past two weeks, but that role would obviously diminish if the latter's cleared. Jaylen Samuels projects to stick in the same receiving-game role since he quietly ran 30 routes to Snell's 7 in their past two contests together. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 12:55 pm

Advice: Miller's absence against the Jags allowed Breshad Perriman to spike season-highs in catches (5) and receiving yards (87) as the team's No. 3 wideout from 11 personnel. A.J. Green (ankle) is out for Week 14 against the Browns.

  • 'No clarity' on Conner and JuJu's statuses
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said James Conner (shoulder) is questionable for Week 14 against the Cardinals.

Advice: He also said Conner has a "better chance" to practice Wednesday than JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee). Benny Snell has handled 65 percent of Pittsburgh's carries in his last two games without Conner but has seen just two targets in that stint since Jaylen Samuels, Trey Edmunds, and Kerrith Whyte has also been involved. Samuels has actually run 30 routes to Snell's 7 in that stretch. Coach Kyle Shanahan said Dante Pettis (knee) is expected to miss at least another game.

Coach Matt Patricia said Matthew Stafford (back) is still "week to week."

Advice: Patricia said the Lions are "going to keep that door open" for Stafford to return "out of respect for Matthew and his competitiveness." The Lions placed Jeff Driskel (hamstring) on the injured reserve already, so it'd be borderline shocking to see Stafford play another snap this season. • Will Fuller manages one catch in win
Will Fuller caught 1-of-2 targets for eight yards in Week 13 against the Patriots.

Advice: This was a rough game for Fuller, who had a would-be 35-yard touchdown slip out of his hands in the end-zone. His two targets were behind DeAndre Hopkins (8), Kenny Stills (4), and Darren Fells (3). It’s step back after Fuller blew up for 140 yards on seven catches in his return last week. • Adam Thielen (hamstring) out for Week 13
Adam Thielen (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 13 against the Seahawks.

Advice: This is a surprise since Thielen was able to practice this week but hamstring injuries are tricky. Dalvin Cook and Stefon Diggs will lead the way with Kyle Rudolph, Bisi Johnson, and Alexander Mattison chipping in. If you are looking for a WR streamer on Monday Night Football, Johnson is the best bet because he had nine targets in the Vikings last game. Thielen should be considered week to week at this point. • James Conner (shoulder) officially inactive
Steelers declared RB James Conner, CB Artie Burns, QB Paxton Lynch, WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, LB Tuzar Skipper, OL Chukwuma Okorafor, and TE Zach Gentry inactive for Week 13 against the Browns.

Advice: Snell handled 21 carries in place of Conner (shoulder) against Cincinnati but failed to eclipse the century mark. The rookie projects to see a workhorse role again opposite the Browns' front-seven, but Jaylen Samuels, Trey Edmunds, and Kerrith Whyte are expected to be involved sparingly, too. Diontae Johnson and James Washington will continue working as the team's two starting wideouts in place of Smith-Schuster (knee). Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:41 am

Bucs declared WR Scott Miller, OLB Kahzin Daniels, OT Jerald Hawkins, TE Jordan Leggett, OLB Anthony Nelson, CB M.J. Stewart, and OG Aaron Stinnie inactive for Week 13 against the Jaguars

Advice: Miller has a pulled hamstring. Nelson (hamstring) and Stewart (knee) are also hurt. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:35 am

Bengals declared WR A.J. Green, TE Cethan Carter, TE Drew Sample, G/T John Jerry, QB Jake Dolegala, CB Torry McTyer and DE Anthony Zettel inactive for Week 13 against the Jets.

Advice: Green is counting down the days until free agency. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:32 am

  • Adam Thielen listed questionable for MNF
Adam Thielen (hamstring) is questionable for Week 13 against Seattle.

Advice: Thielen practiced all week, putting him on track to return coming off Minnesota's bye. It sounds like Thielen will suit up, though he's said he won't play at less than 100 percent. The Vikings also listed NT Linval Joseph (knee) and S Harrison Smith (hamstring) as questionable for Monday night. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:48 am

  • Adam Thielen practices again Saturday
Adam Thielen (hamstring) is practicing Saturday.

Advice: Thielen practiced all week coming off Minnesota's bye. He's trending towards suiting up Monday night, but he's not going to play at less than 100 percent. Thielen will likely be listed as questionable on the final injury report, though the Vikings don't plan to take his status to game-time. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:55 am

  • Dante Pettis (knee) ruled out for Sunday
49ers WR Dante Pettis (knee) is out for Week 13.

Advice: Jimmy Garoppolo had the following target distribution in Week 12 with George Kittle active for the first time since Week 9: Kittle (6 targets), Tevin Coleman (4), Raheem Mostert (3), Deebo Samuel (2), Kendrick Bourne (2), Emmanuel Sanders (1) and Jeff Wilson (1). This is life in the 49ers' run-first offense that has too many capable receiving RBs, WRs and TEs for any single player other than Kittle to carry a consistent target share. Kyle Juszczyk will be more involved in future weeks as well. Clearly Samuel and Sanders are talented WRs that are capable of working as upside WR2s with enough targets. A matchup against the Ravens' No. 1 ranked scoring offense would seemingly be a spot where the 49ers could be forced to throw more often, but then again perhaps coach Kyle Shanahan will choose to continue to focus his efforts on the ground. • James Conner (shoulder) doubtful for Sunday
James Conner (shoulder) is doubtful for Week 13.

Advice: Benny Snell received a bell-cow role with 22 touches in Week 12, but his 103 scoreless yards were a bit disappointing considering the Steelers were at home and facing the Bengals' league-worst defense in total rush yards allowed this season. Jaylen Samuels, Trey Edmunds and Kerrith Whyte were also involed. The days of the Steelers handing whoever happens to be playing RB an 80% snap rate are over, as Snell doesn't possess the type of receiving ability to warrant a near every-down role. • Scott Miller (hamstring) ruled out for Sunday
Buccaneers WR Scott Miller (hamstring) ruled out for Sunday.

Advice: Miller's absence means Breshad Perriman should play something resembling a full-time role. Still, he's nothing more than a boom-or-bust WR5 at best. Chris Godwin and Mike Evans are the PPR WR2 and WR3 through 12 weeks. Clearly they need to be treated as high-end WR1s regardless of the matchup. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:45 am

  • Paul Richardson (hammy) ruled out for Sunday
Paul Richardson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday.

Advice: Terry McLaurin is the only realistic fantasy option in the Redskins' passing game. The rookie has posted 4-39-0, 3-69-0 and 5-72-0 lines in three full games with Dwayne Haskins under center since Week 9. Overall, McLaurin hasn't surpassed 75 yards in a game or scored a touchdown since Week 6. This week's matchup certainly isn't anyone's idea of a get-right spot, as James Bradberry has consistently at least made life difficult for the NFC South's plethora of dominant No. 1 WRs this season. Michael Thomas got the better of the Panthers' No. 1 CB in Week 12, but Bradberry previously had a claim to winning each of his previous four shadow matchups. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:28 am

  • A.J. Green (ankle) ruled out again for Sunday
Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 13.

Advice: It's unlikely Green plays this season. Tyler Boyd, Alex Erickson and Auden Tate will continue to work in three-WR sets. Tate had at least 50 receiving yards in five games with Andy Dalton under center in Weeks 1-8, but has limped to 3-36-0, 4-56-0 and 1-10-0 lines on a combined 15 targets over the past three weeks. You probably have better options at WR in season-long leagues, but Tate is an intriguing DFS option on DraftKings at just $3,800. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:21 am

  • Paul Richardson (hamstring) still absent
Paul Richardson (hamstring) remained sidelined for Friday's practice.

Advice: That's a full week of missed practices for Richardson, who should be formally ruled out when the Redskins release their final injury report on Friday. Without him, Washington will turn to Terry McLaurin, Kelvin Harmon and Trey Quinn in three-wide sets. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:07 am

  • Dante Pettis (knee) avoided serious injury
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Dante Pettis' knee injury is "not a cause of concern."

Advice: Pettis is believed to be dealing with a sprain stemming from a mishap at Wednesday's practice. The injury puts his availability for Sunday's game at Baltimore in question, though it shouldn't have long-term ramifications. A trendy sleeper heading into the year, Pettis has largely been phased out of San Francisco's offense, logging a combined nine snaps over his last two games. He's way down the Niners' receiving pecking order. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:08 am

  • James Conner returns to practice Thursday
James Conner (shoulder) returned to Steelers practice on Thursday, getting in a limited session.

Advice: It's Conner's first practice since aggravating his shoulder injury against the Browns two weeks ago. It obviously gives him a shot at suiting up for the rematch, though Conner's shoulder has been an issue for weeks now. Friday figures to be key, but it is quite possible Conner ends up a game-time decision for Sunday's 1PM ET tilt. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:22 am

  • Stafford officially inactive Thursday
Lions declared QB Matthew Stafford, CB Rashaan Melvin, CB Jamal Agnew, DT Damon Harrison, CB Michael Jackson, G Beau Benzschawel and G Oday Aboushi inactive for Week 13 against the Bears.

Advice: At this point it'd be surprising if Stafford isn't shut down for the remainder of the season. Jeff Driskel (hamstring) is active, but figures to only be used in an emergency. The absence of Harrison is good news for David Montgomery and the Bears' rushing attack. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:03 am
