  • Glazer: 'Slight possibility' Shepard plays
FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports there is a "slight possibility" Sterling Shepard (migraines, game-time decision) plays Thursday night against the Redskins.

Advice: Shepard seemed highly unlikely to play after sitting out the final two practices of the week, but he apparently woke up feeling better on Wednesday and now has a shot to suit up. Still, he appears on the wrong side of questionable. If he can go, Shepard would be a solid WR2 play in a great matchup. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:27 am

  • Vance Joseph wants Paxton Lynch to run
Broncos coach Vance Joseph wants Paxton Lynch to use his legs.

"That’s one of his strengths, so I’m looking forward to watching him play on Sunday." Lynch rushed for 40 yards in one of his starts as a rookie and has the skill set to be a factor on the ground. Lynch has a good schedule down the stretch starting with Oakland this week, and he could return solid value in two-quarterback formats and perhaps even get on the streaming radar down the stretch, especially if he is adding points on the ground. Advice: Sims has missed the last two games because of an undisclosed illness, and Shaheen has capitalized with six catches for 80 yards and a touchdown. Even with Sims likely to return this week, Chicago does not want to halt the rookie's progress. "We do not want to slow down Adam’s progress that way," Loggains said. • Cable thinks Thomas Rawls is trying too hard
Seahawks OL coach Tom Cable thinks Thomas Rawls is trying too hard.

Advice: "It’s his decision-making based on what the read is," Cable said. "If it’s the back door, it’s the back door. If it’s not, stay with the front door...He’s pressing so hard, it’s hard on him." This does not explain why no one else can run behind Cable's offensive line, but perhaps it is to blame for Rawls averaging just 2.6 yards on 49 carries so far this season. A healthy scratch last week, Rawls should get another shot to take over the lead job with Mike Davis sidelined by a groin injury. 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is "hopeful" George Kittle (ankle) will return against the Seahawks in Week 12.

Advice: He sat out Week 10 but had the bye week to get healthy and returned to a limited practice on Wednesday. Advice: Williams should be fine after getting in limited practices. • Broncos officially name Paxton Lynch starter
Coach Vance Joseph announced Paxton Lynch will start Week 12 against the Raiders.

Advice: It was reported Tuesday that this would be the decision out of Denver, and it's now official. The Broncos have lost six in a row and are in a complete free fall after Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler took turns seeing who could be worse at quarterback. We're not sure Lynch is any better, but he at least offers playmaking ability and upside and gets a cake matchup out of the gate against the Raiders' dreadful defense that just fired DC Ken Norton on Tuesday. ESPN's Dan Graziano reports the Broncos plan to start Paxton Lynch against the Raiders in Week 12.

Advice: Things have been trending this way since Sunday's (latest) loss. Official word is expected to come Wednesday. Lynch showed very little in two rookie starts, but the Broncos have nothing to lose as they play out the string of a lost season. It's anyone's guess who will lead it, but the best bet is Russell Wilson doing all the playmaking for this offense. Advice: Coming off his best game of the season, Sanders was completely ineffective in Sunday’s defeat. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Sterling Shepard (illness) is unlikely to play against the Chiefs after being added to the injury report on Saturday, but will go through pre-game warmups before reaching a final determination.

Advice: Unbelievable. The Giants' highly-targeted fill-in No. 1 receiver was in golden position for a big day against the Chiefs' sieve-like defense. Now, even if he plays, fantasy owners will have to be leery after the late-week machinations. Shepard's absence would also put a huge dent in Eli Manning's streamer appeal. Williams managed just 67 yards on 20 carries in relief against the Bears last week. He's low-upside RB3 play who should get volume. Williams will likely need a TD to be worth it. • Ty Montgomery (ribs) absent again Thursday
Ty Montgomery (ribs) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice.

Advice: Montgomery aggravated a rib injury last week and looks like a long shot to play Sunday against Baltimore. With Aaron Jones (MCL) also sitting, Jamaal Williams should carry the load in Week 11. Consider him a volume-based RB2. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:43 am

  • Devonta Freeman (concussion) out Thursday
Devonta Freeman (concussion) will not practice Thursday.

Advice: It is not a good start for a player who is reportedly expected to sit out at least this week. With Freeman likely to be sidelined, Tevin Coleman is on the RB1 map. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:29 am

  • Lynch moves to No. 2 on Broncos' depth chart
Paxton Lynch has been promoted to No. 2 on the Broncos' quarterback depth chart.

Advice: Lynch will be active for the first time this season in Week 11. He'll serve as the backup to Brock Osweiler with Trevor Siemian falling to third-string status. With the 3-6 Broncos looking at a lost season, it makes sense for the Broncos to give Lynch a look down the stretch. Osweiler will likely be on a short leash and could be pulled for Lynch if things go south on him Sunday versus Cincinnati. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:32 pm

  • Dwayne Washington absent Wednesday
Dwayne Washington (hip) didn't practice on Wednesday.

Advice: The injury limited him to four snaps in Sunday's win over Cleveland. He's been handling third-string work behind lead back Ameer Abdullah and pass-catcher Theo Riddick. His absence would open up reps for Zach Zenner. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 1:30 pm

  • Lynch (shoulder) healthy enough to play
Broncos coach Vance Joseph said Paxton Lynch (shoulder) is healthy enough to play.

Advice: Brock Osweiler has already been named the starter, though Lynch should be available as a backup Sunday against Cincinnati. With Trevor Siemian riding the pine and Osweiler faring poorly the last two weeks, it could be time for the Broncos to give Lynch a look. The 2016 first-rounder has spent much of the year nursing a sprained shoulder. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 1:08 pm

  • Ty Montgomery (ribs) DNP on Wednesday
Ty Montgomery (ribs) is not practicing Wednesday.

Advice: Coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday he's holding out hope Montgomery can play against the Ravens, but the week isn't off to a good start. Montgomery has been battling the injured ribs for a couple months now. If he can't play, Jamaal Williams and Devante Mays will handle the backfield. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 12:23 pm

  • Greg Olsen (foot) expected back for Week 12
Panthers coach Ron Rivera still expects Greg Olsen (I.R., foot) to return against the Jets in Week 12.

Advice: The Panthers are on bye this week but the plan is for Olsen to go through a rigorous workout next Monday. If that goes off without a hitch, he'll return to practice on Wednesday, putting him on track to return against the Jets in Week 12. Ed Dickson has done an admirable job filling in at tight end, but likely won't be a fantasy option upon Olsen's return. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:46 am

  • Ty Montgomery has 'chance' to play vs Ravens
The Packers believe Ty Montgomery (ribs) has a "chance" to play in Week 11 against the Ravens.

Advice: Coach Mike McCarthy said Montgomery is "still going through tests." With Aaron Jones (MCL) out indefinitely, the Packers' backfield would be down to rookies Jamaal Williams and Devante Mays should Montgomery be unable to play in Week 11 against Baltimore. Montgomery's rib problems have lingered for months. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:54 pm

  • Paxton Lynch has 'no timeframe for playing'
Broncos coach Vance Joseph said Monday that Paxton Lynch (shoulder) "has no timeframe for playing."

Advice: Lynch still isn't over the shoulder injury he suffered late in preseason. Joseph said Lynch is capable of throwing "intermediate passes," but he can't rip it deep. The Broncos are starting Brock Osweiler at quarterback again in Week 11. Rotoworld.com Monday, 12:43 pm

  • Devonta Freeman unlikely to play Week 11
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Devonta Freeman (concussion) is unlikely to play Week 11 against the Seahawks.

Advice: Freeman suffered his second concussion of the season on Sunday, so the Falcons are going to take it slow with their star running back. Even so, Schefter does not expect Freeman to miss multiple games. Tevin Coleman ran for 83 yards and a score with Freeman sidelined against the Cowboys. Even in a tough matchup in Seattle, Coleman will be a borderline RB1 if Freeman sits. Rotoworld.com Nov 13, 8:18 am

  • Sanders goes for season-high 137 in Week 10
Emmanuel Sanders hauled in six-of-11 targets for 137 yards Sunday in the Broncos’ Week 10 loss to the Patriots.

Advice: Sanders was unstoppable in the early going, impressing with five catches for 114 yards on seven targets in the first half. He couldn’t keep it up after halftime, however, as the Broncos’ offense quickly went off the rails in what ended up being a blowout loss. Still, Sanders dominated his matchup with Malcolm Butler and looked much healthier than he did a week ago coming off a high-ankle sprain. Sanders will try to keep the engine running next week at home against the Bengals. Rotoworld.com Nov 12, 10:36 pm
