HardBoys fall short of predictions, succumb to Nabuchodonozory, 93.06-62.06
HardBoys failed to bring their A game, coming up short of their projected point total, as Nabuchodonozory secured a 93.06-62.06 victory. Nabuchodonozory never trailed in this one after nabbing a 16.10-point lead on Thursday behind James Bradberry (7.5 points) and Travis Fulgham (7.3). Kareem Hunt (76 Rush Yds, 26 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Jared Goff (219 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs) led the way for HardBoys in the loss. Nabuchodonozory (5-2) will look to sustain their momentum against Orzel, while HardBoys (2-5) will seek to get some positive momentum against Moravia Piotrkowice.
Bradberry made 5 tackles and intercepted a pass as the Giants lost to the Eagles 22-21. In doing so, he put up 7.5 points to more-than-double his 3.25-point projection, the fourth-highest percent increase of any CB in the league this season. In Week 8, Bradberry and the Giants will play the Buccaneers.
Nabuchodonozory (5-2) will take on Orzel (3-4) in Week 8. Nabuchodonozory will surely miss the production of Deshaun Watson, who's got a bye in Week 8. Orzel won't have David Johnson, T.J. Watt, Ka'imi Fairbairn, or Jordan Hicks. Over the last two weeks, Nabuchodonozory have scored 94.21 points per game, while Orzel have averaged 123.83 per contest.
Coming up in Week 8, HardBoys (2-5, last-place) will take on Moravia Piotrkowice (4-3, fourth-place). HardBoys might need to rearrange the deck a bit with Will Fuller V, Brandin Cooks, and Kenyan Drake out on bye next week. Moravia Piotrkowice won't have Zach Cunningham.
