Latavius Murray (quad) is questionable for the Divisional Round against the Bucs.

Advice: Murray missed practice this week but was labeled as "day to day" by coach Sean Payton mid-week. He'll be a game-time call for Sunday. If he sits, Ty Montgomery could see some extra work behind Alvin Kamara, who would again be a threat for 25-plus touches. Rotoworld.com 34 minutes ago

  • Deshaun Watson: 'I was on 2 then I took it to 10'
Breaking his Twitter silence Friday, Deshaun Watson tweeted, "I was on 2 then I took it to 10."

Advice: It was Watson's first tweet of the new year, and one would have to assume it's referring to his frustration level in Houston. Watson was reportedly extremely irked at the Texans' process that led the team to hire Patriots exec Nick Caserio as its new GM. Watson was kept out of the loop in that hiring, and the Texans have been trying to perform damage control ever since, with CEO Cal McNair stating he wants Watson's input on the new head coach. It may be too little, too late in Watson's eyes. He's also said to be frustrated with the team's insensitivity to social justice. Former owner Bob McNair, who has since passed, was in hot water with racist comments a few years back. Watson could look to force his way out of town this offseason, but we would think there's long way to go until we get to that point. Rotoworld.com 48 minutes ago

  • Edwards-Helaire (hip) to be game-time call vs. CLE
Clyde Edwards-Helaire (hip) is questionable for the Divisional Round against the Browns.

Advice: CEH got in some practice reps this week, and coach Andy Reid said the Chiefs will take this thing up to game time to decide if the rookie back is ready to return after getting hurt in Week 15. He's had three weeks of rest, but the injury looked significant at the time, so it's no surprise Edwards-Helaire is still fighting it. If he sits, Le'Veon Bell and Darrel Williams will split duties. • Ronald Jones game-day decision, Fournette to start
Bucs coach Bruce Arians said Ronald Jones (quad) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's Divisional Round matchup with the Saints.

Advice: Jones looked better at Friday's practice, but his status for Sunday's game is still up in the air. Even if he gets cleared, Leonard Fournette will start after rushing for 93 yards and a touchdown last week. Fournette's hot hand makes him the touch-favorite if both are active. • Dolphins issue another Tua vote of confidence
Dolphins coach Brian Flores issued another vote of confidence in QB Tua Tagovailoa on Thursday.

Advice: "A lot of attention gets paid to Tua, but I thought he made a lot of improvement over the course of the season," Flores said, not unreasonably. "I'm excited about the future with him. He's a young player, talented player, bounced back from the hip. I think this is a big offseason for him. That Year 1 to Year 2 jump will be important like it is for all rookies." The Dolphins selecting another quarterback at No. 3 overall with the Texans' pick will be a popular offseason meme, but it's not going to happen. This is the same Dolphins brain trust that selected Tagovailoa, and the Twitter complaints about his play never quite matched reality. The Dolphins have two great non-quarterback options at No. 3, either landing a premium talent or trading down and accumulating more picks as they get close to completing their rebuild.  Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:34 pm

Titans signed DT Daylon Mack to a reserve/futures deal.

Advice: Mack, who was most recently waived by the Lions in August, was drafted by the Ravens with the 160th pick in the 2019 NFL draft. • Mike Evans (knee) getting in 'limited' practices
Mike Evans (knee) was "limited" in Wednesday and Thursday's practices.

Advice: Evans avoided setbacks in last week's Wild Card win, so the Bucs are just being cautious. Although he has been scorching hot of late, Evans had a pair of regular season duds against the Saints, and has a checkered history with CB Marshon Lattimore. Nevertheless, Evans and Tom Brady have been playing too well of late to be fully faded on this weekend's four-game DFS slate.  Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:35 pm

  • Chris Godwin 'limited' with hip and quad issues
Chris Godwin (hip, quad) remained "limited" in Thursday's practice.

Advice: We haven't seen concern about Godwin's status from the Bucs' press corps, though it is worth noting that he was absent from the Wild Card injury report. Frequently at less than 100 percent health this season, Godwin combined for a modest 9/120/0 across the Bucs' two regular season losses to the Saints. Including last week's playoff win, Godwin is coming off one of his better two-game stretches of the season.  Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:31 pm

Taysom Hill (knee) didn't practice Thursday.

Advice: It's looking more and more likely like Sean Payton will be without his favorite gadget player for the Saints' Divisional Round tilt against Tampa. Hill, of course, has a shot to play if he can log a limited Friday practice. Hill's absence would be a considerable goal line boon for both Drew Brees and Alvin Kamara.  Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:27 pm

  • Aaron Donald removed from final injury report
Aaron Donald (ribs) has been removed from the Rams' Divisional Round injury report.

Advice: Donald's injury ended up looking worse than it was. Either that, or he has been given enough pain-killing injections to no longer feel his ribs. Donald said on Wednesday that he had "no pain." It's the best-case scenario for the Rams, who are going to need Donald to once again wreak havoc up front if they are to spring another road postseason upset against the Packers in wintry Green Bay.  Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:21 pm

Advice: NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Wednesday that Murray's status for the Divisional Round was "up in the air" as he struggles through his thigh injury. Missing a late-week practice isn't the best development for Murray, but he probably has a shot to suit up against the Bucs. • Cooper Kupp (knee) questionable vs. Packers
Cooper Kupp (knee) is listed as questionable for the Divisional Round against the Packers.

Advice: Dealing with inflammation in his knee, Kupp would be a stunning inactive in the Rams' matchup with Green Bay after catching 4-of-9 targets for 78 yards in LA's Wild Card win over the Seahawks. None of the Rams wideouts have much DFS appeal with an injured Jared Goff under center in the freezing Lambeau weather. If Kupp is out, Van Jefferson and Josh Reynolds would be in line for a bump in snaps and targets.  Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:15 pm

Advice: A 15-game starter for the Chargers in 2017, Williams has made only seven since, all of which came for the Bolts in 2018. Going on 28, he will be a long shot to crack the Steelers' 53-man roster in 2021.  Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:12 pm

  • Sammy Watkins (calf) doesn't practice Thursday
Sammy Watkins (calf) did not practice Thursday.

Advice: Watkins' status for the Chiefs' Divisional Round clash with the Browns is looking bleaker every day. He suffered the calf injury and was rested -- along with most KC starters -- in Week 17. Without a limited practice on Friday, Watkins will be hard pressed to suit up against Cleveland. That would open up snaps and targets for Demarcus Robinson and Mecole Hardman. Robinson averaged five targets in games where Watkins was sidelined while Hardman averaged 3.17 targets.  Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 11:58 am

  • Clyde Edwards-Helaire downgraded to 'DNP' Thursday
Clyde Edwards-Helaire (hip) was downgraded to "DNP" on Thursday.

Advice: CEH was limited on Wednesday coming off the Chiefs' bye week. It's possible this is part of a pre-planned routine to manage CEH's reps, but it's still a bad sign for a player who went down in Week 15. Edwards-Helaire should now be considered on the wrong side of questionable for Sunday's Divisional Round showdown with the Browns. His absence would leave Le'Veon Bell and Darrel Williams to sort out touches in the Chiefs' backfield. Ronald Jones (quad) returned to practice Thursday.

Advice: It's unclear early in the session if Jones was limited or practiced in full, but Tampa Bay's official injury report will clear that up Thursday afternoon. Jones also still had a brace on his thumb while carrying the ball. If available for the team's upcoming game against the Saints, Jones would likely return to his primary role ahead of Leonard Fournette. • Sammy Watkins (calf) misses Wednesday's practice
Sammy Watkins (calf) did not practice on Wednesday.

Advice: Watkins injured his calf in Week 16 and didn't play in the season finale with the Chiefs' starters resting. Wednesday was our first look at how serious his calf injury is, and it appears that his status is up in the air. Watkins will need to get in a limited practice by Friday to have a chance of playing against the Browns. Advice: Kupp didn't practice on Tuesday either. It would be nice for Kupp to get in a limited practice tomorrow, but it's possible that Kupp plays even if he doesn't practice. It's the playoffs. The Rams "hope" Kupp can gut it out, and The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue reports Kupp is "expected to play". If he ultimately can't go, Robert Woods will be heavily leaned on when the Rams opt to pass, while Van Jefferson would be the player to see the biggest usage jump, going from being the No. 4 receiver to starting in three-receiver sets. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Latavius Murray (quad) is "day-to-day".

Advice: Rapoport believes Murray's status for the Divisional Round against the Bucs is "up in the air". He did not practice on Wednesday but will have two more chances of getting in a limited session. In the Wild Card game, Alvin Kamara dominated touches. Expect that to happen even if Murray is active. Advice: That would seem to put the rookie on track to play this week against the Rams. CEH worked as the team's unquestioned primary back with 36 touches in his final two games of the regular season before the hip and ankle injuries. Edwards-Helaire could be a cheap source of touches in this week's four-game DFS slate.  Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 1:37 pm

  • Aaron Donald (ribs): 'No pain. I feel healthy'
Rams DL Aaron Donald (ribs) said he's not experiencing pain and will play this week against the Packers.

Advice: This is in line with everything we've heard about Donald's rib ailment over the past few days. Head coach Sean McVay said Donald will be ready to suit up in the Rams' Divisional Round showdown, and Donald's Tuesday comments confirm as much. "All I can tell you is I feel good, I feel strong and I’ll be ready on Saturday," Donald added. Clyde Edwards-Helaire (hip, ankle) practiced during the open portion of Wednesday's practice.

Advice: We'll see later whether CEH logged a limited session of a full practice ahead of this weekend's game against the Browns. The Chiefs have said he would likely be ready for their Divisional Round game so this isn't a surprising development. Even with a few days of limited practice, we should see Edwards-Helaire active against Cleveland. CEH had 36 touches in his final two games of the regular season before the hip and ankle injuries. Advice: Donald may not practice much this week, but he'll likely get a rib injection to help with the pain before suiting up in Green Bay. Advice: The Rams have already signaled that Donald will suit up for Saturday's Divisional Round game against the Packers, though we would expect him to get few, if any, practice reps this week. Donald's preparation will be about getting comfortable with additional chest protection and avoiding setbacks. Kupp, of course, might get in zero practice reps even if he goes, so his practice status might not be as telling as it would be during the regular season. • Cooper Kupp suffering from bursitis of the knee
Rams head coach Sean McVay said the "hope" is that Cooper Kupp, who has bursitis of the knee, will be able to play this week against the Packers.

Advice: Bursitis is the inflammation or irritation of a fluid-filled sac near the knee joint. Kupp was seen with team trainers late in the Rams' Wild Card win over Seattle examining the knee, with Kupp in clear discomfort. Advice: Rapoport added that, despite the swelling, Jones' quad contusion was not exacerbated. Jones was listed as active but the swelling seems to have occurred in warmups after inactives were declared but before the game kicked off. That meant Leonard Fournette ran as the lead-back versus Washington. He racked up 19 carries and four catches for 132 total yards and a touchdown. • Report: Watson still 'angry,' has no-trade clause
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Texans QB Deshaun Watson "is still angry about team's insensitivity to social justice."

Advice: Mort added that Watson's anger over the team's insensitivity to social justice issues includes their hiring practices and not even giving Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy an interview. Watson has reportedly gone to bat for Bieniemy within the Houston organization and Bieniemy's record should speak for itself. He has been the Chiefs OC in all three of Patrick Mahomes' three seasons as a starter and is serving under arguably the greatest offensive-minded head coach in the NFL, Andy Reid. Houston's refusal to interview him is questionable at best. Mort included the fact that Watson's new contract gave him a no-trade clause. With the no-trade clause in his deal, the Texans can't simply move Watson to the highest bidder. They will have to find a place Watson wants to land for him to waive the clause. Mort's sources speculated that a deal with Miami involving Tua Tagovailoa would be considered by Watson. The deal may be best for both parties at Tagovailoa has failed to live up to expectations in his first year and Watson's relationship with Houston may be fractured beyond repair. Chris Godwin caught 5-of-12 targets for 79 yards and one touchdown in the Bucs' Wild Card win over Washington.

Advice: Godwin had a very up-and-down game. He uncharacteristically had multiple drops -- possibly up to five -- but also found the end zone and made some plays in traffic. It would be a surprise if Godwin's drops carried over as he's been sure-handed for his entire NFL career. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports "all indications are nothing major" for Cooper Kupp's knee injury.

Advice: Kupp suffered a non-contact injury late, and was spotted getting his ACL stability tested on the sideline. He then walked to the locker room under his own power. A Sunday MRI is all but guaranteed, but it appears the Rams have dodged a bullet. Kupp missed the team's 2018-19 Super Bowl run with a torn left ACL. His status will be updated no later than Wednesday, though the Rams' first injury report could come on Tuesday depending on their Divisional Round opponent.  Rotoworld.com Saturday, 6:01 pm

  • RoJo (quad) questionable with mysterious injury
Ronald Jones (quad) is questionable to return to the Bucs' Wild Card game against Washington.

Advice: Jones wasn't on the Bucs' final injury report and is active for the game, but he hasn't played a snap through the first quarter. The only explanation is that Jones suffered an injury in pre-game warmups. It's a mystery to us and all those who rostered Jones in playoff formats. The Bucs will continue to utilize Leonard Fournette in a bellcow role with Ke'Shawn Vaughn occasionally mixing in. LeSean McCoy is out. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:45 pm

  • Cooper Kupp injures right knee late vs. Seahawks
Cooper Kupp caught 4-of-9 targets for 78 yards in the Rams' Wild Card win over the Seahawks before departing with a knee injury.

Advice: This one didn't look good, as Kupp was running a route against air on a run play when he pulled up lame. The training staff appeared to be testing his ACL stability before Kupp gingerly headed to the locker room. He was under his own power, which is a good sign. Kupp's 2018 torn ACL was to his left knee. Any outcome appears possible right now, from Kupp missing the rest of the postseason to suiting up for the Divisional Round.  Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:35 pm

  • Aaron Donald suffers rib injury versus Seahawks
Rams DT Aaron Donald was forced from Los Angeles' Wild Card game against the Seahawks with a rib injury.

Advice: Deemed "questionable," Donald seemed close to returning several times but never did check back in. He was almost single-handedly wrecking the Seahawks' offense before getting injured in the third quarter. He will probably be out there with added mid-section protection for the Divisional Round, but how effective he might be is anyone's guess.  Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:47 pm

  • Mike Evans (knee) officially active vs. WFT
Mike Evan (knee) is active for the Wild Card Round against the Washington Football Team.

Advice: We aren't sure how close Evans is to 100 percent health, but his status never really appeared to be in doubt. His Week 17 injury turned out to be more of a scare than anything else. Be that as it may, with the Football Team walking wounded and perhaps close to incapable of scoring points, it is possible Evans' snaps are rationed out of an abundance of caution. Inactive for the Bucs are RB LeSean McCoy, WR Justin Watson, TE Antony Auclair, OG Aaron Stinnie, CB Herb Miller and DT Jeremiah Ledbetter.  Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:50 pm

  • Mike Evans (knee) will play in Wild Card game
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Mike Evans (questionable, knee) will play in Saturday's Wild Card game against Washington.

Advice: Evans had been trending toward playing after a late-week return to practice. It's possible his snaps are scaled back, but even at less than 100 percent, Evans is always a threat to score. With Evans cleared, Scotty Miller will remain limited to four-wide sets. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:41 am

  • Mike Evans 'plans to play' in the Wild Card game
NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports Mike Evans "plans to play" in the Wild Card game against the Football Team.

Advice: Evans is officially listed as questionable after getting in some practice work late in the week. It's possible that he plays in a reduced role, especially if the Bucs jump out to a big lead as touchdown favorites. Evans' status will be monitored up until kickoff. Scotty Miller would be a three-receiver set starter if Evans is ultimately scratched. Rotoworld.com Friday, 4:57 pm

  • McNair 'looking forward' to speaking with Watson
Texans CEO Cal McNair said he hasn't heard from Deshaun Watson and hopes to speak with him soon.

Advice: "I've come to understand that it's been reported that Deshaun feels left out of the process, but he and I had several visits and I understood his point of view before meeting with candidates," McNair said Friday. "I've reached out to Deshaun about Nick's hire, and I look forward to him getting back to me when he returns from his vacation." It's clearly lost on McNair that Watson was heard before Caserio's hiring then practically ignored in the next step of Houston's search. The Texans also didn't so much as request an interview with Chiefs OC Eric Bienemy, who was the one coach Watson strongly advocated for when asked his opinions. Caserio claims Watson "is our quarterback" moving forward, but an early split in ideology is a horrific start for both sides. Rotoworld.com Friday, 12:13 pm

  • Watson upset over GM process, not speaking to team
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Deshaun Watson is upset over the Texans' hiring process for general manager and has not spoken to team brass "in the last few days."

Advice: Yikes. ESPN's Adam Schefter adds more context, reporting Watson met with owner Cal McNair and "shared thoughts on certain candidates that came highly recommended." The front office reportedly promised Watson he would have input. Per Schefter, Watson "did not expect Houston to hire those that he endorsed, but he was hoping the Texans would be respectful of the feelings of the group of his teammates that he was trying to represent." Instead, Watson was apparently kept completely out of the loop and found out about Nick Caserio's hiring on social media. The episode especially stung Watson because he was also kept in the dark on DeAndre Hopkins' trade. None of this is surprising coming from one of the most dysfunctional organizations in North American sports. The Texans still possess nearly all of the leverage after extending Watson's contract in September, but we wouldn't consider it a guarantee that the superstar remains in Houston.  Rotoworld.com Thursday, 4:33 pm

  • Taysom (concussion) resumes practicing in full
Taysom Hill (concussion) has resumed practicing in full.

Advice: Hill entered the concussion protocol on Wednesday but is already back to full participation. Either he was never concussed or had one of the fastest recoveries you will ever see. Alvin Kamara (COVID-19) is trending toward being out there against the Bears on Sunday, but Hill could still be in for a bigger-than-usual workload after Kamara was unable to practice in person.  Rotoworld.com Thursday, 1:31 pm

  • Evans officially deemed 'questionable' vs. WFT
Mike Evans (knee) is questionable for the Wild Card Round against the Washington Football Team.

Advice: Evans has been labeled a game-time decision, but he continues to trend in the right direction. "He's lived in the training room and done a great job with it," coach Bruce Arians said. "And in the meeting room, staying off his feet. Today's the first day he tried to do much active movement, and it was OK, hopefully. We'll see how sore he is tomorrow." An MRI reportedly revealed no structural damage, while "swelling has been minimal." We would expect Evans out there on Saturday evening, though it's possible he will be on a snap count for a game where the Bucs are 8.5-point favorites.  Rotoworld.com Thursday, 1:17 pm

  • Arians: Evans (knee) a game-time decision Saturday
Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians said Mike Evans (knee) is a game-time decision for the Wild Card game against Washington.

Advice: Evans reportedly did some work in the training room on Thursday and felt "ok." Arians also said if Evans is out there, that's a terrific sign he's healthy. Although his status will likely come down to the wire, it sounds as if Evans will be more than just a decoy or big threat inside the red zone if healthy. He remains an intriguing low-rostered option for any postseason fantasy contests. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:21 am

  • Mike Evans (knee) returns to practice Thursday
Mike Evans (knee) returned to practice Thursday.

Advice: It's unclear at this time whether Evans was limited or going through sideline work, though the team's official injury report Thursday afternoon will tell all. It was still the first time Evans practiced since initially hyperextending his knee in Week 17, encouragingly giving him a shot to play on Saturday. Even if limited, it's possible the Bucs deploy Evans as a decoy and threat inside the 10-yard line against Washington. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:16 am

  • Kupp activated from COVID list, will face Seahawks
Rams activated WR Cooper Kupp from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Advice: After missing Week 17 with the virus, Kupp will be back out there for the Wild Card tilt with the Seahawks. It's unclear who -- Jared Goff or John Wolford -- will be throwing him the football. Kupp posted 5-50 and 8-66 receiving lines in two dates with Seattle this season. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 1:05 pm

  • Bucs 'optimistic' Evans plays in Wild Card round
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports "there's some optimism" Mike Evans will play in Saturday night's Wild Card game against Washington.

Advice: Evans was present for Tuesday's walkthrough but didn't do enough to earn a limited tag. The Bucs don't want to risk further damage, but there's hope he can play through his hyperextended knee this week. Evans has a history of playing effective when injured, so he should be more than just a decoy if active. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:20 am

  • Cooper Kupp (COVID-19) will practice on Wednesday
The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue reports Cooper Kupp (COVID-19) will return to practice on Wednesday.

Advice: Kupp was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on December 29 and missed the regular season finale. Provided nothing changes, Kupp will be ready to go for the Wild Card Round against the Seahawks. He'll face Ugo Amadi in the slot. The Rams are still figuring out how healthy Jared Goff will be for Saturday's contest. John Walford possibly could start. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 3:15 pm

  • Mike Evans (knee) officially 'DNP' on Tuesday
Mike Evans (knee) was officially "DNP" for Tuesday's practice.

Advice: Evans was moving around during the portion of Bucs practice open to the media, but he didn't do enough to earn a "limited" tag. Evans' status certainly cannot be taken for granted for Saturday evening's game against the Football Team. The Bucs could be Super Bowl-or-bust enough that they may be willing to risk holding Evans out in an effort to have him closer to 100 percent for bigger fish to fry down the road. It's still most likely that they will leave nothing to chance and do everything in their power to get him out there this Saturday.  Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 1:49 pm

  • Dolphins GM: Tua Tagovailoa is our starter
Speaking Tuesday, Dolphins GM Chris Grier committed to Tua Tagovailoa as the team's starting quarterback moving forward.

Advice: Grier added the usual caveats: We will add competition at every position, can't rule out drafting a quarterback, etc., but it is unsurprising to hear. Even with the Texans' No. 3 overall pick, Tagovailoa did not play poorly enough as a rookie for the Dolphins to go the Josh Rosen or Dwayne Haskins route. Playing with a limited supporting cast, Tagovailoa certainly did not light up the stat sheet, but he largely avoided turnovers while hinting at play-making ability. There's no guarantee he is the long-sought answer in Miami, but his rookie year was ultimately a normal one.  Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 12:07 pm
