  • 90 pts, 3-3
  • Weekly Grade

Kimmie's Warriors got 22 points from Rob Gronkowski and 18 from Dak Prescott to edge Cam's All Americans 92 to 90. This one just as easily could have been decided by a coin flip. The 2-point margin of victory was the smallest in the league this season. For Cam's All Americans, David Johnson and Amari Cooper played the roles of Maverick and Goose, scoring 31 and 12 points, respectively. Kimmie's Warriors (4-2, 534 points) climbs into third place and Cam's All Americans (3-3, 600 points) drops to fourth place.

Smooth Moves by Kimmie's Warriors

  • Even if you cried trying to win, you still won. And the Toyota Hall of Fame is proud of Kimmie's Warriors either way.
  • Best in the world: Rob Gronkowski can claim that at least for one week after his 22 point performance. It was highest score for any TE this week, as well as the second-highest TE score in the league this season.
  • The 17 points scored by Cole Beasley was the fifth-highest score by a WR in the league this week.
  • Kimmie's Warriors won despite having only 3 of their 9 starters exceed their scoring projection.
  • Both of the RBs came in below their expected points and it was still a win for Kimmie's Warriors.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • It's okay to regret not taking a sick day to study the Toyota Hall of Fame's articles. But it's not okay to do it again.
  • Picked up Tevin Coleman, who was last on the team in scoring with 1 point, only 16.7% of his projected point total, which was also the lowest percentage on the team.
  • All that glitters is not gold. Picked up Zach Miller, who scored 3 points against his projected 5.62.
  • This is how people lose everything in casinos. Cam's All Americans thought their luck would change and went back to the well with Kelvin Benjamin. However, he scored 8 points against a projected 10.28 and has now underachieved in four straight games.
  • It was not a good week for Cam's All Americans at TE, where they were beaten 22 - 3.

What If

  • If Kimmie's Warriors played Cam's All Americans every week, they'd be 2-4 this year.
  • Kimmie's Warriors would have beaten four other teams besides Cam's All Americans this week.
  • If they played the same schedule as Cam's All Americans, Kimmie's Warriors would be 2-3.
  • If Kimmie's Warriors had played every team in the league each week, they would be 18-24.
  • In addition to Kimmie's Warriors, Cam's All Americans would have lost to just two other teams this week.
  • Timing really is everything. Kimmie's Warriors would have lost to Cam's All Americans 118 - 85 had they played each other last week.
  • If they played the same schedule as Kimmie's Warriors, Cam's All Americans would be 3-2.
  • If they played every team every week, Cam's All Americans would be 27-15.

Game Notes

  • The margin of victory of 2 points was the smallest in the league this season.
  • Cam's All Americans bested their projected points again, the fifth time this season they have done so, including a streak of three straight games.
  • Hey, I'm sure Kimmie's Warriors appreciates the tough competition. In the loss, Cam's All Americans had the eighth-highest losing score in the league this season with 90 points.
  • Kimmie's Warriors was able to win with little help from Marvin Jones Jr., who had a season-low 7 points and is on a three-week underperforming streak.
  • DeSean Jackson did little to help Kimmie's Warriors, underperforming versus projections for the third straight game with 5 points against a projected 7.21.
  • Kimmie's Warriors remains undefeated in close games this season, improving to 2-0.
  • In the loss, David Johnson scored 31 points, the second-highest RB score in the league this season.
  • The Carolina Panthers Defense was last in the league in scoring in the win, with -1 point against a projected 8.30 and has now scored below their projection in four straight games.

Fantasy MasterpiecesWeek 6

LaDainian Tomlinson SD - RB 2005 vs. Oakland 179 yards from scrimmage, 1 TD rush, 1 TD reception, 1 TD pass In his Week 6 contest against the Raiders in ’05, Tomlinson became just the seventh player in NFL history to throw for a TD, run for a TD and catch a TD pass in the same game.

And, while his effort stands as a great testament to LT’s all-around skills, it goes down as just the eighth-best fantasy performance by a running back since the AFL-NFL merger. In fact, Tomlinson managed to one-up himself in Week 6 in each of the following two seasons, rolling up 135 total yards and four scores against San Francisco in ’06, and 214 total yards and four touchdowns against Oakland (again) in ’07 – which stands as the top Week 6 RB fantasy performance.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
