  • Schefter: Jordan Reed expected to play vs PHI
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Jordan Reed (shoulder) is expected to play Sunday at Philadelphia.

Advice: Beat writers said Reed was in noticeable discomfort on the practice field this week, but the team has been more optimistic, and Reed was never expected to miss more than one game. Although the Eagles usually pose a tough matchup for tight ends, Reed is always one of the best players on the field whenever he dresses, and therefore can be matchup proof. He's a mid-range to high-end TE1 play against the Eagles, whose defense has come unglued over the last six weeks. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 6:29 pm

Jaguars placed TE Julius Thomas (back) on injured reserve.

Advice: Thomas had been sidelined since Week 11 and wasn't close to returning. He's missed 11 games over the last two years and hasn't played to his contract when healthy. • Ladarius Green's snap total might be capped
ESPN Steelers reporter Jeremy Fowler believes 30-40 snaps is Ladarius Green's "range because of the Steelers’ run-heavy sets."

Advice: Green saw his snap share jump to 48 percent last week against the Giants, but that might be his ceiling if Fowler is correct. The good news is Green runs a route on almost all of his snaps, giving him plenty of target opportunities despite the limited snap percentage. With a pretty favorable schedule down the stretch, Green should be a solid TE1 the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:29 am

  • 49ers sign Vance McDonald to $35M extension
49ers signed TE Vance McDonald to a five-year, $35 million extension with $16 million guaranteed.

Advice: The deal locks up McDonald through 2021. Turning 27 next June, McDonald has enjoyed a mini-breakout season in Chip Kelly's offense, parlaying 24 catches into 391 yards with four touchdowns and averaging 16.3 yards per reception. Long prone to dropped passes, McDonald has dropped only three balls this year and has always possessed adequate blocking ability. • Josh Hill officially done for year
Saints placed TE Josh Hill on injured reserve with a broken fibula, ending his season.

Advice: Coby Fleener will take over as the Saints' No. 1 tight end, although blocker John Phillips has been seeing more action recently and should inherit a big chunk of Hill's running-game snaps. Although the Saints have refused to commit to Hill as a key piece of their offense, he is a terrific athlete who has always excelled when given passing-game opportunities, and made strides as a blocker in 2016. Advice: Pettigrew is believed to be healthy, but the Lions had washed their hands of him. He will likely pass through waivers and be available to the highest bidder. I just keep going," Bennett said. "I’m like the Energizer Bunny. I just try to find a way." Travis Kelce caught 5-of-8 targets for 101 yards in the Chiefs' Week 14 win over the Raiders.

Advice: The 100-yard effort was Kelce's fourth straight, and fifth in seven games. Like he's done for the entirety of his hot streak, Kelce was gashing the defense for huge gains up the seam. Kelce could have had an even bigger game had Alex Smith not gone into witness protection after halftime. Most encouragingly, the big night came with Jeremy Maclin back in the lineup. Despite what Keim saw, Reed claims to have his full range of motion back and coach Jay Gruden said he "looked pretty good" on Thursday. This is shaping up as a classic game-time decision. Advice: Doyle was close to scoring a touchdown right before halftime, but he lost control of the ball near the goal line and it went off the pylon for a touchback. • Dwayne Allen catches trio of TDs in MNF win
Dwayne Allen caught 4-of-4 targets for 72 yards and three touchdowns in the Colts' Week 13 win over the Jets on Monday night.

Advice: Talk about efficiency. Allen entered Monday night with two touchdowns through 12 weeks. He and Dennis Pitta were the kings of tight ends in Week 13, combining for five touchdowns after they'd mustered two combined on the year. Allen's first two touchdowns against the Jets were both wide-open, walk-in scores, the first coming from seven yards out and the second from 21 yards away. His third score was a 23-yarder with the defender draped all over Allen in the end zone. • Ladarius goes ballistic in win over Giants
Ladarius Green delivered six catches for a career-high 110 yards and one touchdown on 11 targets Sunday in the Steelers' Week 13 win over the Giants.

Advice: After seeing limited snaps in his first few games, the training wheels came off for Green on Sunday. With the Giants putting all their time and energy into shutting down Antonio Brown, Green had free reign on Sunday. He was seemingly wide open on every pass that was thrown to him, breaking off gains of 37, 33 and 20 yards. Landon Collins missed his assignment on Green’s only touchdown of the afternoon, which came late in the third quarter. We’ve been cautious not to overhype Green coming off a lengthy injury, but after Sunday’s explosion, it’s hard not to acknowledge his potential. Advice: Tom Brady tried to get Bennett a touchdown on a corner fade late in the first half, but the pass was defended well by Rams SS T.J. McDonald. Bennett was also flagged for a pair of penalties. Even without Rob Gronkowski (back) in the lineup, Bennett has settled in as a boom-bust TE1 option. • Pitta scores twice as Ravens toast Dolphins
Dennis Pitta snagged nine-of-11 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns Sunday in the Ravens' Week 13 win over the Dolphins.

Advice: Pitta ended a 17-game touchdown drought on Sunday and he did it with style. Baltimore made a point to attack the middle of the field, which, coincidentally, is where Pitta makes his living. His first touchdown came on a 13-yard pass Joe Flacco managed to squeeze between Isa Abdul-Quddus and Bacarri Rambo. He went for six again late in the first half, this time beating Rambo in zone coverage for a nine-yard score. Pitta did lose a fumble in the fourth quarter but the Ravens were way ahead at that point. His nine catches matched a season-high and the 90 yards he tallied were his most since Week 2. • Kelce keeps cooking, shreds Falcons for 140
Travis Kelce caught 8-of-8 targets for 140 yards in the Chiefs' Week 13 win over the Falcons.

Advice: The team leader in every receiving category, Kelce continually ripped the Falcons down the middle of the field. The 100-yard effort was his third in a row, while the 140 yards were a new career high. Kelce has been good since 2014, but he's been becoming great in the absence of Jeremy Maclin. • Martellus (ankle) draws the questionable tag
Martellus Bennett (ankle, shoulder) is questionable for Week 13 against the Rams.

Advice: Bennett isn't 100 percent or probably anywhere close to it, but he'll give it a go this week with Rob Gronkowski (back) on the shelf. Even at less than full strength, Bennett should see enough targets to warrant TE1 consideration in a good matchup against the struggling Rams.Daily Slant: After burning his DFS owners in recent weeks, this is a great spot to get a high-upside option at a low ownership percentage. Our projected ownership page has him at 3% in GPPs, and with Gronk out for awhile, Bennett should be at least 5-8 times as popular. He's been a disappointment in the last two games, but should see an uptick in targets in Week 13. Los Angeles has allowed the 10th most TDs per game to TEs on the year. • Martellus Bennett back at practice Thursday
Martellus Bennett (ankle, shoulder) returned to Patriots practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

Advice: Bennett is fully expected to play against the Rams. With Rob Gronkowski (back) out indefinitely, Bennett will be a TE1 this week and every week going forward. Bennett will be hit and miss, but he's a legit top 10-12 option. Rotoworld.com Dec 1, 1:47 pm

  • Jordan Reed (shoulder) sitting again Thursday
Jordan Reed (shoulder) remained sidelined Thursday.

Advice: Reed was never likely to practice on Wednesday or Thursday. Friday will be the key to his Week 13 status, but most signs point toward another "DNP." Owners need to be making other plans for the final week of the fantasy regular season. Rotoworld.com Dec 1, 10:07 am
