  • Cole Beasley catches 11-yard pass in MNF loss
Cole Beasley caught 1-of-3 targets for 11 yards in the Bills' Week 13 loss to the Patriots.

Advice: Beasley's three targets tied Zack Moss for fifth on the team, good enough for just 10% of the share on a night Josh Allen attempted only 30 passes. Beasley hasn't scored since before the Week 7 bye and has 46 yards or less in five straight games. He and Emmanuel Sanders appear to be falling behind guys like Dawson Knox and Gabriel Davis as the secondary options to Stefon Diggs. Beasley gets a potential bounce-back spot next week against the Bucs in a likely shootout. NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 9:10 pm

  • Gabriel Davis catches 14-yard TD in MNF loss
Gabriel Davis caught 2-of-4 targets for 30 yards and one touchdown in the Bills' Week 13 loss to the Patriots.

Advice: Davis' four looks were fourth on the team, but he did account for the Bills' lone touchdown with a 14-yarder on a slant from Josh Allen in the first quarter. Davis' playing time has been on the rise a bit in recent weeks, but he remains the team's big-play fourth wideout. Davis could be worth a dice-roll as a desperation fantasy play in deeper leagues next week against the Bucs in a potential shootout. NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 9:03 pm

  • Agholor held without a catch in win over Bills
Nelson Agholor failed to catch his lone target in the Patriots' Week 13 win over the Bills.

Advice: Agholor was one of the lucky three Patriots to see a target in this one on a night Mac Jones attempted just three passes with New England dialing up 46 run plays. Agholor just didn't catch his look. He has three touchdowns on the year with zero games above 60 yards since Week 1. Agholor will be a WR5/6 next time out against the Colts after the bye. • Emmanuel Sanders catches three passes in defeat
Emmanuel Sanders caught 3-of-6 targets for 22 yards in the Bills' Week 13 loss to the Patriots.

Advice: Sanders' three targets were tied with Dawson Knox for second on the team behind Stefon Diggs' seven on a night Josh Allen attempted just 30 passes in 50-55 MPH winds. There weren't any plays to be made through the air in that kind of weather. Sanders still has no touchdowns since the Week 7 bye and has 28 yards or fewer in four straight games. He's devolved into a WR4/5 ahead of a juicy Week 14 date with the Bucs. NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 8:58 pm

  • Jakobi Meyers not targeted in MNF win over Bills
Jakobi Meyers wasn't targeted in the Patriots' Week 13 win over the Bills.

Advice: Throw this one out the window. The Patriots' targets and catches leader on the year, Meyers wasn't needed on a blustery night where New England attempted just three passes and ran the ball 46 times. Meyers gets a Week 14 bye and will be a WR4 next time out against the Colts in Week 15. NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 8:43 pm

  • Diggs posts MNF-high 51 receiving yards, drops TD
Stefon Diggs caught 4-of-7 targets for 51 yards in the Bills' Week 13 loss to the Patriots.

Advice: The Patriots only called three pass plays on the night, and Diggs' seven targets paced the Bills with Josh Allen attempting 30 passes. Diggs' 51 yards were a game-high, though he should have had more but dropped a potential 44-yard touchdown deep shot that hit him in the arms in the end zone. The wind gusts surely played a role, but Diggs would say he should've caught the pass. Diggs has at least 51 yards and/or one touchdown in every game this season. He has a ceiling spot next week in a shootout spot against the Bucs in Tampa Bay as a surefire WR1. NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 8:26 pm

  • Deonte Harris three-game suspension now official
The NFL upheld Deonte Harris's three-game suspension for a DUI.

Advice: Harris appealed the suspension near the end of November. His appeal was unsuccessful and he will now miss the next three games. Harris will be eligible to return in Week 17. He has played a mix of special teams and wide receivers this year, often looking like the most explosive pass-catcher in New Orleans. As has been a common trend this year, the Saints are now down another skill position player. Tre'Quan Smith and Marquez Callaway will continue playing full-time roles though neither can be trusted for fantasy purposes.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 2:39 pm

  • Chargers place Keenan Allen on reserve/COVID list
Chargers placed Keenan Allen on reserve/COVID-19 list.

Advice: If Allen is vaccinated, he can rejoin the team after returning two negative COVID tests 24 hours apart. Players have typically missed one game after being placed on the COVID list, although Allen does have nearly a full week to get his negative results. Chargers coach Brandon Staley called Allen "day-to-day." If he does miss the Chargers' Week 14 game against the Giants, Mike Williams would likely be in for a heavy dose of targets. Austin Ekeler would also see an uptick in usage as one of the team's primary targets on short throws. Jalen Guyton and Josh Palmer are the Chargers' next men up for WR2 and WR3 duties.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 2:02 pm

  • Adam Thielen (ankle) DNP on Monday
Adam Thielen (ankle) did not practice Monday.

Advice: Thielen is dealing with a high-ankle sprain and is not expected to play in Week 14 against the Steelers. The fact that it is a Thursday game, giving Thielen a short turnaround from Sunday doesn't help. Expect K.J. Osborn to start alongside Justin Jefferson. Osborn has been productive in spurts and could offer WR4 value off the waiver this week. NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 1:48 pm

  • Chase Claypool (toe) estimated as a DNP Monday
Chase Claypool (foot) did not practice Monday.

Advice: Claypool has been dealing with a bad case of turf toe for roughly a month. He missed one game because of it but logged snap shares over 90 percent in Weeks 11 and 12. That was dialed back to 63 percent last week, possibly indicating that the issue is getting worse. • Corey Davis (core-muscle surgery) done for 2021
Jets coach Robert Saleh said Corey Davis will undergo core-muscle surgery and miss the remainder of the 2021 season.

Advice: The groin issue has been lingering for a few weeks now and it was likely clear to the Jets that Davis shouldn't keep playing through it. Undergoing the surgery now will give him ample time to recover ahead of the 2022 season. In his absence, Jamison Crowder and Elijah Moore should lead the team in targets. Moore has seen 31 targets over his previous three games and is now playing on 80 percent or more of the team's snaps every week. Despite the poor quarterback play in New York, Moore should be able to manage WR3 numbers on that level of volume. In the first year of a three-year, $37.5 million contract, Davis did well to record a 34-492-4 line in nine appearances for a dysfunctional offense. As for 2022, Davis' fantasy value will be determined by New York's ability to improve on offense this offseason and whether Moore establishes himself as a viable WR1 down the stretch.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 12:45 pm

  • Julio (hamstring) designated to return from IR
Titans designated Julio Jones (hamstring) to return from injured reserve.

Advice: The last we saw Julio, he caught four passes for 35 yards in a Week 7 win over the Rams. He's been on injured reserve since November 13 with a hamstring injury that seemingly never heals. Besides a 128-yard outing against the Seahawks in Week 2, Jones has offered exceedingly little fantasy production. In a Tennessee offense with the NFL's lowest pass rate over expectation, Jones is at best a low-end WR3 option in Week 14 against the Jaguars. The team could hold him out until the following week against the Steelers.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 9:17 am

  • Sutton has 11% target share with Jeudy in lineup
Courtland Sutton has an 11 percent target share with Jerry Jeudy in the Denver lineup this season.

Advice: Sutton has fallen from fantasy relevance since Jeudy returned from an ankle injury that kept him sidelined for most of the season's first half. With Jeudy out of the lineup, Courtland became a target monster, commanding a 25.7 percent target share in the Broncos' balanced offense. Sutton from Week 2 to Week 7 was fantasy's tenth highest scoring receiver, ahead of highly productive WRs like Justin Jefferson and Chris Godwin. Since Week 8, when Jeudy returned from his ankle injury, Sutton is outside the top-100 highest scoring receivers. His deep ball targets have dried up: In the season's first half, Sutton led the NFL in targets of more than 20 yards downfield (19). From Week 8-13, he's seen the 29th most downfield targets (5). The bleakness knows no ends. Sutton can't be regarded as anything more than a WR4/5 in Week 14 against the Lions.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 8:15 am

  • Trent Sherfield serves as WR2 with Samuel out
Trent Sherfield caught 2-of-5 targets for 16 yards in the 49ers' Week 13 loss to the Seahawks.

Advice: Jauan Jennings was reportedly going to serve as the WR2 with Deebo Samuel sidelined, but that honor went to Sherfield, who played 98 percent of the snaps on his way to the third-most targets on the team. It seems unlikely Samuel will return this week, but it does not make a ton of sense to chase the WR2 production in this offense outside of deep leagues.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 7:46 am

  • Jauan Jennings targeted just once Week 13
Jauan Jennings hauled in his only target for eight yards in the 49ers' Week 13 loss to the Seahawks.

Advice: Jennings was allegedly going to be the 49ers' WR2 with Deebo Samuel sidelined, but he only played 50 percent of the snaps. Trent Sherfield, on the other hand, played 98 percent of the snaps and was third on the team with five targets, just one fewer than Brandon Aiyuk. Chasing the WR2 in this passing game does not make a ton of sense, but it looks like Sherfield is the option for those in deep leagues as long as Samuel is out.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 7:42 am

  • Courtland Sutton silent once again in Week 13
Courtland Sutton caught 2-of-6 targets for 15 yards in the Broncos' Week 13 loss to the Chiefs.

Advice: Sutton’s nightmare streak continues, as this marked his fifth straight game with two or fewer receptions. The Broncos struggled to pass the ball all game long – with the exception of Javonte Williams catching it out of the backfield and some garbage-time Jerry Jeudy – but this is a worrying trend for Sutton. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Vikings WR Adam Thielen suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 13 against the Lions.

Advice: Thielen will undergo further testing on Monday to determine how much time he'll miss, but he's likely out for Week 14, especially considering the Vikings have a short week before playing Pittsburgh on Thursday. K.J. Osborn will assume WR2 duties for Minnesota, and Justin Jefferson should see even more targets with Thielen sidelined. Advice: Claypool reeled in a 40-yarder in the first half before Ben Roethlisberger keyed on Diontae Johnson in the second half. Claypool's three targets were fourth among Pittsburgh pass catchers on the day. He's had a boom-or-bust fantasy profile all season and that's unlikely to change next week against the Vikings. • Keenan Allen scores twice in win over Cincinnati
Keenan Allen caught 5-of-8 passes for 34 yards and two touchdowns in the Chargers' Week 13 win over the Bengals.

Advice: Allen added a two-point conversion pass on a reverse that saw him hit find Justin Herbert wide open in the end zone. Despite finishing fourth on the Chargers in receiving yards, it was undoubtedly an exciting day for fantasy managers who were relying on Allen. He also led the Chargers in targets. Herbert primarily beat the Bengals with his deep ball so Allen's short targets weren't a priority but it remained a successful day based on his red zone usage. With two scores today, Allen doubled his touchdown total on the year. He'll be a solid WR2 option i Week 14 versus the Giants. NBCSportsEDGE.com Sunday, 2:23 pm

Corey Davis (groin) is a game-time decision for Week 13 against the Eagles.

Advice: Note that Davis was at least available for a limited session on Friday. It's a crucial status to watch for Elijah Moore's outlook since the rookie ran a route on a season-high 93% of the team's dropbacks without Davis in Week 12. As long as Zach Wilson is under center, Moore will remain a usage-based WR3/4 with elite upside (that's tough to reach via inaccurate targets). Advice: Harris got 70 of his yards on a slant and split the Cowboys' defense for a late fourth quarter touchdown. He led the Saints in targets in Taysom Hill's first start, though there's not much to chase here with Hill struggling as a passer. Lil'Jordan Humphrey was the Saints' second leading receiver and also scored on one of his two targets. • Beat: Without Deebo, Jennings would be SF's WR2
The Athletic's Matt Barrows said Jauan Jennings would be the 49ers' No. 2 receiver if Deebo Samuel (groin) is out for Week 13.

Advice: Jennings' playing time has spiked of late after minimal usage in the first half of the season. Barrow said head coach Kyle Shanahan's "trust" in Jennings has grown over the past month. The Niners being without their dominant receiver/running back Samuel would presumably make Brandon Aiyuk the team's WR1 and Jennings the WR2 against Seattle in Week 13. The big-bodied Jennings saw two red zone targets in last week's win against Minnesota, scoring once and narrowly missing another touchdown. Jennings has played about half the team's offensive snaps since Week 10. He would suffice as a low-end WR3 in a pinch if Samuel is sidelined for a week or two.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Tuesday, 7:30 am

Adam Thielen caught 5-of-7 targets for 62 yards and two touchdowns in the Vikings' Week 12 loss to the 49ers.

Advice: The scores were Thielen's ninth and 10th of the season, giving him three in the past two weeks. Thielen's biggest grab was a 29-yarder on a flea flicker. He appeared to have a sixth reception where he cradled the ball millimeters from the grass, but replay mysteriously ruled it incomplete. Thielen's scores went for two and 20 yards. Allen has at least 77 yards in five straight and has solidified himself as a weekly WR1/2 ahead of a Week 13 date with the Bengals. Advice: Even with the Patriots' most pass-heavy game script in over a month, Agholor failed to make an impact. He has been held to 10 catches for 81 yards over his past three contests. Advice: Meyers' first five-catch performance in five weeks produced a new season-high for yards. 38 of them came on a deep-ball grab over Kevin Byard. Meyers is capable of pop-up days, but they are difficult to come by in this run-first offense. • Claypool: 82 yards in uneven performance vs. CIN
Chase Claypool caught 3-of-8 targets for 82 yards in the Steelers' Week 12 loss to the Bengals.

Advice: Claypool had a bad miscommunication with Ben Roethlisberger in the first quarter that led to an interception and dropped a ball on third down before the game got out of hand. Functioning as the Steelers' lone downfield threat, Claypool hauled in two deep shots -- one for 41 yards -- against the Bengals while Diontae Johnson vacuumed up most of the underneath looks. Claypool is a fine weekly WR3 option with as much upside as any receiver outside the top-20 in a Pittsburgh offense that will usually be pass heavy. • Corey Davis (groin) downgraded to 'doubtful'
Jets WR Corey Davis (groin) has been downgraded to "doubtful" for Week 12 against the Texans.

Advice: It's unclear why Gang Green didn't just declare Davis "out," especially since the game is on the road. Davis will apparently at least make the team flight, and we suppose will go through a pre-game workout. Regardless, it should be ascending rookie Elijah Moore operating as returning QB Zach Wilson's No. 1 receiver, with Jamison Crowder mixing in to do plenty of compiling. Keelan Cole will get in some wind sprints on the perimeter. Moore and Wilson have had little in the way of chemistry so far this season, but Moore comes with explosive upside no matter who is under center.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Nov 27, 11:25 am

  • Corey Davis gets in limited practice, questionable
Corey Davis (groin) is listed as questionable for Week 12 against the Texans.

Advice: Davis injured his groin in Wednesday's practice and was held out of Thursday's practice. He got in a limited session on Friday, however, and now looks much likelier to be able to suit up on Sunday. Davis will be seeing targets from Zach Wilson. The two have had a nice connection so far this season, and Davis' additional usage in the slot in Week 11 could be a sign of a slightly altered role that could help boost his target share going forward. Davis looks like low-end WR3 this week. NBCSportsEDGE.com Nov 26, 2:35 pm

  • Deonte Harris appealing suspension for DUI
Saints WR Deonte Harris is appealing a three-game suspension for a DUI.

Advice: Harris, a kick returner who caught one pass in the Saints' Thanksgiving night loss to Buffalo, was sentenced to a year of supervised probation after pleading not guilty to driving under the influence following a car accident in July. The NFL's punishment for a first DUI is a three-game suspension without pay. The Saints and Harris knew the suspension would come down later in the season, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Harris' appeal could give him enough time to play in Week 13 against the Cowboys before missing three of the season's final five games.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Nov 26, 8:15 am

  • Cole Beasley goes 5-46 in Week 12 win
Cole Beasley caught all five of his targets for 46 yards in the Bills' Week 12 win over the Saints.

Advice: Two games removed from a nine-snap week, Beasley is back to playing his usual role as the WR3 for the Bills. Per Pro Football Focus's Nathan Jahnke, Beasley ran 28 routes to Gabriel Davis's 11. The veteran slot has a solid target floor but comes with little ceiling, even when Josh Allen finds the end zone four times, as he did versus the Saints. He projects for WR4 numbers against the Patriots next week. NBCSportsEDGE.com Nov 25, 9:12 pm

  • Manny Sanders' slump continues with 3-28 line
Emmanuel Sanders caught all three of his targets for 28 yards in the Bills' Week 12 win over the Saints.

Advice: Sanders has been in a prolonged slump over his previous six games. In that stretch, he now has a dozen catches for 146 scoreless yards. With Stefon Diggs' target share rebounding after a slow start to the year, Sanders is now a boom/bust WR4 on a good day. He can be left on the bench in most fantasy leagues for his Week 12 matchup with the Patriots. NBCSportsEDGE.com Nov 25, 9:07 pm
