  • Jets sign K Eddy Pineiro after Kessman collapses
    Jets signed K Eddy Pineiro.

Advice: The Jets will keep changing kickers until morale improves. In his first game as New York's kicker, Alex Kessman shanked two extra points in the Jets' Week 13 loss to the Eagles. There was no way Kessman was going to get another shot in Week 14 against the Saints. The veteran Pineiro made 82.1 percent of his field goal tries in 2019 for Chicago. He's not fantasy relevant. • Jets cut kicker Matt Ammendola
SNY's Jeane Coakley reports the Jets cut K Matt Ammendola.

Advice: The Ammendola era in New York ends after six misses on 19 field goal attempts through Week 12. He made only five of his nine kicks of more than 40 yards this season. Alex Kessman will start for the Jets Sunday against the Eagles. He's not a fantasy option. Saturday, 1:08 pm

  • Nick Folk (knee) limited again Friday
Nick Folk (knee) was limited in Friday's practice.

Advice: Folk was also limited Thursday, but there does not appear to be any reason for concern. The Patriots waived Quinn Nordin earlier in the week, and they would not have made that move if there was any chance Folk would sit. The veteran kicker will continue to be a top fantasy option against the Bills on Monday night. Friday, 1:16 pm

  • Patriots pick Nick Folk, waive K Quinn Nordin
    Patriots waived K Quinn Nordin.

Advice: Nordin landed on injured reserve because of an abdominal injury early in the season. He is now healthy enough to return, but he was pipped by veteran Nick Folk, who has connected on 31-of-34 field goal attempts this year. Easily the highest-scoring kicker in fantasy this season, Folk will remain a good option the rest of the way. Wednesday, 3:46 pm

  • WFT sign Brian Johnson to replace Joey Slye
    Washington signed K Brian Johnson.

Advice: Former starting kicker Joey Slye was sent to injured reserve because of a hamstring injury he suffered Monday night against the Seahawks. Johnson had a less than stellar four-game run with the Saints earlier this year, connecting on all eight of his field goals but missing three extra points including two in a game the Saints lost by two points. Those misses ultimately spelled his demise. He will hope for a better run with The Football Team. Tuesday, 3:24 pm
