  • Zach Zenner rushes for 40 yards vs. Saints
Zach Zenner rushed nine times for 40 yards in the Lions' Week 13 win over the Saints.

Advice: Zenner got his run after Dwayne Washington went down with an ankle injury. If Washington can't get right for Week 14, Zenner will be in for at least 8-10 carries against the Bears. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:00 pm

  • Dwayne Washington injures ankle vs. Saints
Dwayne Washington rushed seven times for 21 yards in the Lions' Week 13 win over the Saints before departing with a left ankle injury.

Advice: Washington added two receptions for 19 yards. He was operating as the Lions' clear early-down runner before departing. If Washington can't go against the Bears, Zach Zenner could lead the Lions in carries. Rotoworld.com Today, 2:58 pm

  • Theo Riddick rushes four times versus Saints
Theo Riddick rushed four times for two yards in the Lions' Week 13 win over the Saints, adding five receptions for 15 yards and a touchdown.

Advice: The Lions barely pretended Riddick was a running back, instead featuring Dwayne Washington and Zach Zenner on early downs. Washington injured his ankle, so perhaps Riddick will be in for more carries in Week 14. Regardless of Washington's health, Riddick won't be a realistic RB2 in standard leagues against the Bears. • Dixon rushes for 56 yards on six carries
Kenneth Dixon covered 56 yards on six carries and reeled in four catches for 21 yards Sunday in the Ravens' Week 13 win over the Dolphins.

Advice: Dixon looked explosive, averaging a robust 9.3 yards per carry. Unfortunately the Ravens threw 50 passes on Sunday, which left him with little to do. Terrance West out-touched Dixon 13-10 and scored a pair of touchdowns. We’re guessing the backfield distribution will be close to a 50/50 split next week against New England. • Mark Ingram totals 53 yards vs. Lions
Mark Ingram rushed seven times for 37 yards in the Saints' Week 13 loss to the Lions, adding five receptions for 16 additional yards.

Advice: Ingram couldn't get any volume going in a game the Lions controlled from the opening whistle. Ingram also missed a series or two after tweaking his toe injury. He's undoubtedly going to miss more practice time this week. Provided he's healthy enough to suit up, Ingram will be a volatile RB2 against the Bucs in Week 14. Rotoworld.com Today, 2:18 pm

  • DuJuan Harris a non-factor in Week 13
DuJuan Harris had eight yards on two carries in Week 13.

  • Booker struggles, finishes with 19 touches
Devontae Booker rushed 18 times for 35 yards and a touchdown and caught his lone target for two yards in the Broncos' Week 13 win over the Jaguars.

Advice: Booker was severely outplayed by Kapri Bibbs (5-49 rushing) before Bibbs left with an ankle injury, leaving the backfield all to Booker. Booker saved his fantasy day with a six-yard touchdown run after a number of big-time runs on that specific drive by Bibbs. Booker's ineffectiveness has continued regardless of matchups and workload. He needs to be downgraded to a flex option in Week 14 against the Titans. Rotoworld.com Today, 2:13 pm

  • Carlos Hyde lone bright spot in loss
Carlos Hyde rushed 20 times for 92 yards in the 49ers' Week 12 loss to Chicago.

Advice: He added one catch for six yards. Hyde had a heavy workload early, but fell out of the gameplan in the second half. He was the only bright spot in a game the 49ers attempted just 15 passes. Hyde didn't have any red-zone chances after finding the end zone last week. He'll remain a midrange RB2 for Week 14. • Ajayi tacks on 87 yards in loss to Ravens
Jay Ajayi collected 61 yards on 12 carries and caught six-of-seven targets for 26 yards Sunday in the Dolphins' Week 13 loss to the Ravens.

Advice: Ajayi had a strong first half, turning eight carries into 43 yards. The Dolphins stopped running the ball in the second half but Ajayi stayed active by catching five passes after halftime. Ajayi has cooled off over the last month but game script was to blame for his latest disappointment. He’ll be safe to fire up as an RB2 in next week’s home game against Arizona. • Lamar Miller held to 29 total yards Week 13
Lamar Miller rushed for 22 yards on 14 carries while adding seven yards on one catch Week 13 against the Packers.

Advice: Miller went to the locker room after the first series with a rib injury, but he returned late in the first quarter. He saw plenty of work after returning to the game, but the Texans could not get much of anything going on offense. Miller did give up a series late in the game to Alfred Blue, who responded with a couple long runs. It is possible the Texans were protecting Miller in a blowout. Miller has a mouth-watering matchup against the Colts next week, but his health is a real concern. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:47 pm

Devonta Freeman rushed 15 times for 56 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons' Week 13 loss to the Chiefs, adding four receptions for 49 additional yards.

Advice: Freeman now has four touchdowns in two games since Tevin Coleman returned. For whatever reason, perhaps freshness, he's been more productive with his sophomore teammate in the lineup. • West scores twice in Ravens' onslaught
Terrance West supplied 50 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries and also caught three passes for 18 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the Ravens' Week 13 win over the Dolphins.

Advice: The Ravens barely acknowledged their running game until late as West rushed just four times for 11 yards in the first half. West caught the Dolphins napping on a third-yard touchdown catch on Baltimore's opening drive. He added to his haul with a nine-yard rushing score in the fourth quarter. West and Kenneth Dixon were announced as co-starters, though West won the touch battle 13-10. West has averaged just 10.3 carries over his last three games. • Spencer Ware finds end zone twice in Atlanta
Spencer Ware rushed 14 times for 29 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs' Week 13 win over the Falcons, adding three receptions for 23 additional yards and another score.

Advice: Ware could have had a much bigger day, but Alex Smith flat missed him on a gimme 61-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. It was an odd afternoon, with Ware's scores masking an otherwise extremely pedestrian day. Ware is averaging just 48 yards rushing over his past five games, totaling a modest 110 receiving yards in the process. His workloads remain voluminous, but he'll be a bottom-end RB1 against the Raiders in Week 14. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:42 pm

  • Christine Michael gets nine carries Week 13
Christine Michael rushed nine times for 19 yards Week 13 against the Texans.

Advice: Michael opened up with a solid seven-yard run on his first action in the second quarter, and he converted a fourth-and-short later in the same drive. Michael was much quieter in the second half, gaining just one yard on four carries, but he seemed to jump James Starks in the pecking order. Both Starks and Michael look like inferior options to Ty Montgomery, however, and it is impossible to know how the workload will be split moving forward. Michael is not trustworthy enough to use against the Seahawks in the first round of the fantasy playoffs. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:34 pm

Rex Burkhead rushed eight times for 38 yards and caught 4-of-5 targets for 28 yards in the Bengals' Week 13 win over the Eagles.

Advice: Jeremy Hill out-carried Burkhead 23-8, but Burkhead was able to out-gain his backfield mate 38-33. In two games without Giovani Bernard, Burkhead has handled a total of 19 touches. However, he did lose a fumble on one catch over the middle. Burkhead should be heavily involved Week 14 at the Browns. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:32 pm

James White rushed three times for 17 yards and caught 4-of-5 targets for 18 yards in the Patriots' Week 13 win over the Rams.

Advice: Dion Lewis finished with nine touches, while White had seven behind backfield leader LeGarrette Blount (18). Lewis and White are rotating role players, essentially canceling each other out as reliable fantasy options. White will be a low-end PPR flex option in Week 14 against the Ravens. • Dion Lewis handles only 9 touches vs. Rams
Dion Lewis rushed five times for 27 yards and caught 4-of-5 targets for 11 yards in the Patriots' Week 13 win over the Rams.

Advice: LeGarrette Blount (18) led New England's backfield in touches, while Lewis (9) and James White (7) continued to share passing-back duties. The Patriots used a lot of Lewis early in game, then put him on bubble wrap the rest of the way in an easy win. We'd project Lewis for 9-11 touches in Week 14 against Baltimore. • Smallwood gets eight carries in lopsided loss
Wendell Smallwood rushed eight times for 19 yards in the Eagles' Week 13 loss to the Bengals.

Advice: The Eagles' plans to feature Smallwood were again spoiled by falling in a quick hole on the scoreboard and being forced to fire off a bunch of pass plays. Carson Wentz threw it a season-high 60 times in the 18-point defeat. And Darren Sproles got the one-yard touchdown run late in the second half. Philly has lost 5-of-6 games, and it doesn't figure to get any easier next week against the Redskins. Smallwood is an extremely volatile RB3 play. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:28 pm

  • Jeremy Hill handles 25 touches, scores in win
Jeremy Hill rushed 23 times for 33 yards and one touchdown in the Bengals' Week 13 win over the Eagles.

Advice: He added two catches for 12 yards on three targets. The one-yard touchdown run after a 50-yard catch by Cody Core definitely saved Hill's fantasy day, though it can be viewed as a big positive that he received 25 total touches. In the two games without Gio Bernard and A.J. Green, Hill has handled 43 total touches as one of the focal points of the offense. Unfortunately, he's faced two strong run defenses. Hill will get a much better matchup Week 14 at the hapless Browns. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:24 pm

  • L. Blount tags Rams for 18-88-1 rushing line
LeGarrette Blount rushed 18 times for 88 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' Week 13 beatdown of the Rams.

Advice: Almost all of Blount's production came on the first drive, where he rushed three times for 55 yards alone, including a 43-yard scoring sprint. Rather than put the ball in Blount's belly in clock-killing mode, the Patriots kept throwing short passes to the likes of Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan, and Malcolm Mitchell. Blount obviously still paid Week 13 fantasy dividends. He'll be a tougher sell against Baltimore's stout front in Week 14. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:19 pm

Jordan Howard had 32 carries for 117 yards and three touchdowns in Chicago's Week 13 win over the 49ers.

Advice: Howard scored his touchdowns on three straight drives in the red zone. The conditions at Soldier Field forced a run-heavy gamescript, with Chicago feeding Howard a career-high 32 times. The per-carry average wasn't great, but Howard ran hard all game and faced stacked fronts trying to kill the clock late. Howard has five 100-plus yard games and at least 90 total yards in eight of the last nine weeks. He's a back-end RB1 for Week 14 against Detroit. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:10 pm

  • Mark Ingram (toe) officially active vs. Lions
Mark Ingram (toe) is active for Week 13 against the Lions.

Advice: Ingram seemed genuinely questionable for a time this week, but is ready to split work with Tim Hightower. Ingram absolutely tore it up in last week's romp over the Rams, but it's fair to wonder how often he'll get the ball at less than 100 percent. Our guess is that Hightower will probably win the touch war, making him the slightly better fantasy play. Ingram is on the RB2 borderline for Week 13. • Smallwood totals just 47 yards in MNF loss
Wendell Smallwood rushed nine times for 37 yards in the Eagles' Week 12 loss to the Packers.

Advice: He caught his lone target for 10 yards. With Ryan Mathews (knee) out, Smallwood got the start and out-carried Darren Sproles 9-3. However, Sproles was far more involved, catching 5-of-7 targets for 48 yards. Sproles especially dominated snaps late in the game with the Eagles trailing by two scores. When all was said and done, Sproles out-snapped Smallwood 31-22, according to PFF's Nate Jahnke. • Texans expect RB Miller (ankle) to be 'fine'
Texans coach Bill O'Brien said Monday he expects Lamar Miller to be "fine" after Miller limped off the field with an ankle injury in Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Chargers.

Advice: Miller has battled an ankle injury since before the Texans' bye week. He appeared to potentially aggravate it late in Sunday's game, but it sounds like he'll be ready to go for Week 13 against the Packers. Nevertheless, early-career concerns about Miller's ability to handle heavy workloads have continued into his first season as a true bellcow back. Although Miller has not missed any games, he has frequently battled nicks and bruises and he isn't hitting many big plays. Miller's decision to add weight in the offseason was not the answer. • Mark Ingram plays 57% of snaps Week 12
Mark Ingram played 42-of-74 (57%) snaps Week 12 against the Rams.

Advice: Ingram had two fewer touches than Tim Hightower, but he out-snapped him 42-to-25. Minus his injury-shortened effort against the Panthers, Ingram's snap percentage has been on the rise over the last month. Back in the driver's seat in the Saints' backfield, Ingram will be an upside RB2 this week against the Lions. Rotoworld.com Nov 28, 6:11 am

  • James White sees nine targets Week 12
James White caught 4-of-9 targets for 22 yards Week 12 against the Jets.

Advice: White did not have a carry. He ended up playing three more snaps than Dion Lewis, but Lewis out-touched him 10-to-4, although White was second on the team with nine targets. With Lewis eating into his role, White is too risky to start even in standard-sized PPR leagues. Rotoworld.com Nov 28, 6:06 am

  • Spencer Ware totals 96 yards on SNF
Spencer Ware rushed 17 times for 64 yards in Kansas City's Week 12 win over the Broncos.

Advice: He added two catches for 32 yards. It's another middling game from Ware after he was held under 70 yards last week. Ware dominated carries, but played in an even timeshare with Charcandrick West (33 snaps). He's now gone four straight games without a touchdown. Ware will be an RB2 for Week 13 against Atlanta. • Devontae Booker rushes for 79 yards
Devontae Booker had 24 carries for 79 yards and caught 1-of-2 passes for 22 yards in Week 12 against the Chiefs.

Advice: The Broncos continued to use Booker in a workhorse role, but there wasn't much for him in the run game. He averaged under 4.0 YPC for the fourth straight week. Booker made some big runs late in the fourth quarter and overtime, but he's been highly ineffective since taking over the starting job. Even in a plus Week 13 matchup with Jacksonville, Booker is just an RB2. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 9:53 pm

  • Dion Lewis records 61 yards in Week 12
Dion Lewis rushed six times for 24 yards while catching four-of-seven targets for 37 yards Sunday in the Patriots' Week 12 win over the Jets.

Advice: He played on 23-of-73 offensive snaps, which was about the same as last week. Lewis out-touched James White 10-4, though White drew nine targets in the passing game compared to only seven for Lewis. This is probably the usage Lewis owners can expect going forward. Fantasy owners trying to clinch a playoff spot should probably look elsewhere for backfield help in Week 13. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 6:17 pm

  • LeGarrette Blount tacks on 71 yards in Week 12
LeGarrette Blount racked up 71 yards on 11 carries and was unable to catch his lone target Sunday in the Patriots' Week 12 win over the Jets.

Advice: He and Dion Lewis logged the same number of carries in the first half (four each). Blount was a little more involved after halftime, but not by leaps and bounds. His 23-yard rush with 1:32 left in the fourth quarter allowed New England to run out the clock. Blount has averaged a sensational 6.37 yards per carry over his last two contests but hasn’t scored in either game. The NFL’s rushing touchdown leader will be safe to fire up as an RB2 next week at home against Los Angeles. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 6:16 pm

  • James White targeted nine times in Week 12
James White hauled in four-of-nine targets for 22 yards Sunday in the Patriots' Week 12 win over the Jets.

Advice: White finished second on the team in targets behind Julian Edelman. He made a critical catch on fourth down to extend New England’s game-winning drive. White appeared to score on a two-point conversion attempt after Malcolm Mitchell’s go-ahead touchdown, but the play was reviewed and eventually overturned when officials ruled that he stepped out before crossing the goal line. With White now sharing passing-down work with Dion Lewis, he won’t be worth starting next week against the Rams. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 6:11 pm

  • Latavius totals 88 yards, TD in Week 12 win
Latavius Murray rushed 19 times for 45 yards and one touchdown in the Raiders' Week 12 win over the Panthers.

Advice: He caught 3-of-4 targets for 43 yards. Murray has been battling a bit of an ankle issue for weeks now, but his volume has steadied over that same span. He's handling all early-down work with Jalen Richard acting as the COP back. Murray has seen at least 18 carries in 3-of-5 games and is getting more involved as a pass catcher. His touchdown came from four yards out on Sunday after a 30-yard Johnny Holton catch. Murray will be a fine RB2 play next week against the Bills. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 5:06 pm

  • Terrance West gets 16 touches in Week 12
Terrance West managed 48 yards on 13 carries and caught 3-of-4 targets for 16 yards in the Ravens' Week 12 loss to the Bengals.

Advice: For the first time this year, West was out-snapped and out-touched by Kenneth Dixon, who appears to be emerging as Baltimore's lead back. The Ravens have never seemed committed to West, even in spurts where he has run well. He's devolving into a risky flex option ahead of a Week 13 date with the Dolphins. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 3:47 pm

  • Carlos Hyde totals 95 yards in Miami
Carlos Hyde rushed 13 times for 65 yards in the 49ers' Week 12 loss to the Dolphins, adding five receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown.

Advice: With the 49ers doing an excellent job of executing the read option, Hyde averaged a season-high 5.0 yards per carry. The receiving score was his first of the year. Looking rejuvenated the past two weeks, Hyde will be a solid RB2 against the Bears' decimated defense in Week 13. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 3:27 pm

Kenneth Dixon rushed 13 times for 49 yards and caught 4-of-4 targets for 31 yards in the Ravens' Week 12 win over the Bengals.

Advice: Dixon didn't exactly light up the stat sheet, but this was a very promising performance. He out-snapped Terrance West and posted a season high for touches (17), and looks to be taking over as the Ravens' lead back. The arrow is pointing upward on Dixon as a low-end RB2/flex play ahead of Week 13 against Miami. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 3:08 pm

  • Howard goes over 100 total yards on Titans
Jordan Howard had 18 carries for 84 yards and caught 3-of-5 passes for 43 yards in Week 12 against the Titans.

Advice: It's another strong game from Howard, who has over 100 total yards in five of his last eight games. Howard dropped a walk-in TD, but had some big runs before getting gameflowed in the second half. Despite a makeshift offensive line, Howard is behind only Jay Ajayi with 5.1 YPC and has one of the higher floors in the league. Howard will be an RB1 play for a Week 13 matchup with the 49ers. • Ajayi bottled up for 56 total yards vs. 49ers
Jay Ajayi rushed 18 times for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' Week 12 win over the 49ers.

Advice: He added an 11-yard reception. Running behind an offensive line missing three starters, Ajayi ended up not being able to take advantage of the league's worst run defense. Ajayi was continually bottled up at the point of attack. There just wasn't any push from the Dolphins' front five. At the very least, hopefully G/T Laremy Tunsil (shoulder) can return for Week 13. • Burkhead goes 5-29 against Ravens
Rex Burkhead rushed five times for 29 yards and caught 2-of-2 targets for 19 yards in the Bengals' Week 12 loss to the Ravens.

Advice: Burkhead actually led Cincinnati in rushing on a day where Jeremy Hill managed a 12-21 line on the ground. A lightly-used change-of-pace back in the absence of Gio Bernard (ACL), Burkhead is worth a look in particularly deep PPR leagues. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 2:03 pm

  • Jeremy Hill: 18 touches, 6 catches post-Gio
Jeremy Hill rushed 12 times for 21 yards and caught 6-of-6 targets for 61 yards in the Bengals' Week 12 loss to the Ravens.

Advice: Rex Burkhead mixed in for seven touches as Cincinnati's change-of-pace back. It was a predictably slow rushing performance for the Bengals' up-and-down run game against the Ravens' shutdown run defense. Still, Hill's high-volume passing-game usage was promising, and he should have a floor in the 17-touch range the rest of the way. Hill will be a quality RB2 play in Week 13 versus Philadelphia. Denard Robinson rushed 13 times for 39 yards in the Jaguars' Week 12 loss to the Bills.

Advice: He was not involved in the passing game, but did take over as the Jaguars' lead ball carrier when Chris Ivory (hamstring) exited in the first half. T.J. Yeldon couldn't handle a full workload due to an ankle injury. Regardless of Ivory's status, this will be a backfield to avoid in Week 13 against Denver. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 1:52 pm

  • Lamar Miller limps off late in Week 12 loss
Lamar Miller limped off the field with an apparent ankle injury late in the Week 12 loss to the Chargers.

Advice: Miller has been dealing with a left ankle injury for several weeks, and he appeared to get it twisted on a short catch very late in the game. The Texans did not make an announcement, but he did not return. Miller was bottled up for most of the game, gaining just 57 yards on 19 carries and 18 yards on three catches. He did get loose for a couple long gains off the left side in the third quarter, but he lost a fumble at the end of one. He also was stopped at the one-inch line in the first half only to see Brock Osweiler vulture him on a sneak the very next play. If healthy, Miller should be able to have more success against the Packers, but he will be a name to watch all week. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 1:50 pm

  • Devonta Freeman scores twice in easy victory
Devonta Freeman rushed 16 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons' 38-19, Week 12 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: He added two catches for 17 yards on three targets, dropping the one pass that fell incomplete. Freeman's first score was set up by Julio Jones drawing a questionable defensive pass interference call in the end zone against Patrick Peterson on 3rd-and-goal. Freeman scored on the next play. His second score was a five-yard run he bounced outside after being initially stuffed in the backfield. It was Tevin Coleman's first game back from a hamstring issue, but Freeman got most of the red-zone work, though Coleman also added a short touchdown of his own. Both backs will continue to have RB2 value the rest of the year. They'll get the Chiefs at home in Week 13. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 1:36 pm

  • Mark Ingram (167 yds, 2 TDs) destroys Rams
Mark Ingram rushed 14 times for 146 yards and one touchdown while securing one-of-two targets for 21 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the Saints' Week 12 win over the Rams.

Advice: Just 10 days removed from a concussion, Ingram faced zero resistance on Sunday. He set the tone by breaking a slew of tackles for an 18-yard gain on his first carry of the afternoon. Later in the half, he scored a 10-yard touchdown on a fourth-down conversion. He only had one man to beat after taking the toss from Drew Brees in the backfield. Ingram embarrassed the Rams again on 61-yard burst in the third quarter. He found the end zone again three plays later, this time on a 21-yard screen pass on third-and-long. After enduring some lean weeks early in the year, Ingram has again solidified himself as a weekly RB2 in fantasy. He gets the Lions at home in Week 13. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 1:35 pm

  • Wendell Smallwood to 'play a lot' on MNF
According to ESPN's Adam Caplan, Wendell Smallwood is expected to "play a lot" against the Packers on Monday night.

Advice: Ryan Mathews (knee) has already been ruled out for Week 12, which should allow Smallwood to settle in as the lead back with Darren Sproles playing his usual role on passing downs. Smallwood has averaged 15 touches over his last two games and should exceed that total on Monday night. "I think he's a really good football player, and I think the more he plays that's just going to show more and more." Advice: "I feel like I can contribute a lot, man," Michael said. "I'm in my playbook every day. I feel comfortable with the plays that I got out there [in practice]. Just learning from the guys in front of me." Michael saw increased reps in practice this week, but he's still behind James Starks on the depth chart. Advice: Used more like a receiver in Week 11, Riddick actually looked explosive on his runs this afternoon, but the Lions refused to give him the ball. Riddick was much less effective than usual as a pass catcher, averaging 2.6 yards per grab. He was getting chopped down by Minnesota the second he caught the ball.
