  • Josh Bellamy questionable for Week 14
Josh Bellamy (shoulder) is questionable for Week 14 against the Lions.

Andrew Luck (shoulder) is no longer on the Colts' injury report.

  • NFL pops Browns rookie WR Payton for PEDs
NFL suspended Browns WR Jordan Payton four games for violating the league's performance-enhancing drugs policy.

Advice: It'll end Payton's season. A fifth-round pick out of UCLA, Payton earned only 30 snaps on offense while wallowing behind Terrelle Pryor, Corey Coleman, Andrew Hawkins, Ricardo Louis, and Rashard Higgins on the Browns' wide receiver depth chart. Payton may be hard pressed to make the Browns' 2017 roster, but he will be given every opportunity in next year's training camp. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:44 pm

  • Josh Hill officially done for year
Saints placed TE Josh Hill on injured reserve with a broken fibula, ending his season.

Advice: Coby Fleener will take over as the Saints' No. 1 tight end, although blocker John Phillips has been seeing more action recently and should inherit a big chunk of Hill's running-game snaps. Although the Saints have refused to commit to Hill as a key piece of their offense, he is a terrific athlete who has always excelled when given passing-game opportunities, and made strides as a blocker in 2016. • Kubiak still noncommittal on Siemian playing
Broncos coach Gary Kubiak remained noncommittal Friday when asked about Trevor Siemian's (foot, questionable) Week 14 availability.

Advice: Beat writers have sounded optimistic about Siemian's chances of facing the Titans, but Kubiak said he wouldn't have a firm decision until he watches Siemian in Saturday's walkthrough. Kubiak said Friday that Siemian's status would be decided "tomorrow." If Paxton Lynch has to make another start, the fantasy outlooks for Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders would both take a hit.Daily Slant: If Siemian does indeed start on Sunday, Emmanuel Sanders sets up as one of the premier value plays across the industry. The Titans have given up massive stat lines to Marquess Wilson, Davante Adams, Jordy Nelson, T.Y. Hilton and Tyrell Williams over the past month, and the secondary is still by far their biggest weakness. Lynch's presence would be a downgrade to both options, making Sanders and Thomas GPP-only options. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 11:29 am

Jordan Matthews (ankle, questionable) said he will "definitely" play in Week 14 against the Redskins.

Advice: Matthews has practiced fully the last two days and should be all set to resume his role as the Eagles' primary slot receiver. Last week marked the first absence of J-Matt's three-year career. Fantasy owners should view him as a WR3 this week. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 11:28 am

  • Lions release TE Brandon Pettigrew
    Lions released TE Brandon Pettigrew.

Advice: Pettigrew is believed to be healthy, but the Lions had washed their hands of him. He's now available to the highest bidder. • Browns officially activate Robert Griffin III
Browns activated Robert Griffin III from injured reserve.

Advice: There was never any doubt Griffin would be activated as the team confirmed he will be the starting quarterback the rest of the way barring injury. Despite getting the starting nod, the offense around Griffin is too poor and the risk of an in-game injury is too high to trust him in standard leagues. Advice: It is not a surprise considering he practiced in full all week. Advice: Siemian practiced on Wednesday and Thursday, and it sounds like he will get in some work Friday as well. Klis said Siemian's mobility will be the key to his availability. Advice: Robinson was running well last week before injuring his ankle, but he would have taken a backseat to a healthier T.J. Yeldon this week anyway. Dealing with a high-ankle sprain, Robinson will likely miss several weeks. Robinson is heading into free agency, so he is not a terrible flier in deeper Dynasty leagues. Martellus Bennett (ankle, shoulder) admitted he is not 100 percent healthy.

Advice: We did not need the confirmation after watching him on the field the last couple weeks, but Bennett said he plans to keep playing through the issues. "I never thought about [sitting out]. I just keep going," Bennett said. "I’m like the Energizer Bunny. I just try to find a way." • GM says team will evaluate Tyrod after season
Bills GM Doug Whaley said the team will decide whether to retain Tyrod Taylor after the season.

Advice: "He's got 4 more games to write this chapter," Whaley said. "Then after this season, like everybody on the team, we're going to do an evaluation and then we'll go from there." Whaley was equally cryptic about Taylor's future last offseason before signing him to a "six-year, $92 million" contract in August which was really a one-year deal with a $27.5 million option for 2017. Taylor has played well enough to cement himself as the starter in Buffalo, and the Bills really do not have any other option but to retain him. Whaley could be soft-playing his hand in an attempt to finagle a renegotiation, but Buffalo has to retain Taylor at this point. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:50 am

Chris Conley caught 2-of-3 targets for 70 yards in the Chiefs' Week 14 win over the Raiders.

  • Jalen Richard touches ball six times vs. KC
Jalen Richard rushed six times for 29 yards in the Raiders' Week 14 loss to the Chiefs.

Advice: Richard was just a changeup behind Latavius Murray, who carried the ball 22 times. Richard was on the field for some important snaps late, but it wasn't an indictment of Murray's play. • Tyreek Hill scores two more TDs vs. Raiders
Tyreek Hill caught 6-of-6 targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs' Week 14 win over the Raiders, adding a 78-yard punt return score.

Advice: Hill also had a two-yard rush. Hill is turning into one of the most dangerous players in the league with the ball in his hands. He scorched David Amerson on his 36-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. He was shot out of not one, but two cannons on his special teams score. The big night came even with Jeremy Maclin back in the lineup. Hill should maintain WR3 value down the stretch. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:32 pm

  • Maclin invisible in return from groin injury
Jeremy Maclin caught 1-of-3 targets for 16 yards in the Chiefs' Week 14 win over the Raiders.

Advice: Maclin was invisible as Alex Smith shredded the Raiders in the first half, and even more invisible as Smith struggled in the second. Pro Football Focus charted him as playing 42-of-55 snaps, so it wasn't a playing-time issue. Maclin has legitimately struggled this year. He'll be a low-upside WR4 in Week 15 against the Titans. Michael Crabtree caught 4-of-7 targets for 21 yards in the Raiders' Week 14 loss to the Chiefs.

Advice: Crabtree also seemed to injure his left hand late, but returned to the game after missing a few plays. There wasn't a whole lot Crabtree could do on an evening where Derek Carr was misfiring left and right. Amari Cooper had a legitimately bad game, but the same can't be said for Crabtree. He'll bounce-back as a high-end WR2 against the Chargers in Week 15. The Raiders' entire offense should be much better. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:26 pm

Latavius Murray rushed 22 times for 103 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders' Week 14 loss to the Chiefs.

Advice: The 100-yard rushing effort was just Murray's second of the season. He should have gotten the rock 30 times, as he was the Raiders' only means of moving the ball on a frigid evening in Kansas City. Fantasy owners will take it all the same. The score was Murray's 12th of the year, and fourth in three games. He's finally re-established himself as the Raiders' bell-cow, and is primed for a big finish to the season. Advice: Coming out of the bye week, coach Hue Jackson refused to name a starter after Wednesday's practice, a practice in which all four of RGIII, Josh McCown, Cody Kessler, and Kevin Hogan took snaps. Signs have pointed to Griffin getting the start for the past couple weeks. He does very little to move the needle from a fantasy standpoint, but Terrelle Pryor's floor remains safe. • Maclin removed from injury report, will play
Jeremy Maclin (groin) was removed from the Week 14 injury report and will play Thursday night against the Raiders.

Advice: It's unclear what kind of role Maclin will have after missing four weeks, but there's been no indication he'll be on any sort of snap count. Look for Maclin to see his customary 5-8 targets, which takes some air out of the balloon for Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill. Treat Maclin as a WR4 coming off a long layoff. Trevor Siemian (foot) returned to a limited practice Wednesday.

Advice: Paxton Lynch was an utter disaster once again in last week's spot start against the Jaguars. He and Siemian split the reps Wednesday, putting Siemian on track to return this week against the Titans. He won't be a fantasy option on the road, but Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas will get a boost. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:56 am

  • Brandon Pettigrew won't return this season
The Lions will not activate TE Brandon Pettigrew (knee) from the reserve/PUP list.

Advice: Pettigrew is still slightly less than a year removed from tearing his left ACL. A Lion since going with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2009 draft, Pettigrew is signed for $4.35 million next season. He obviously won't see that. Pettigrew turns 32 in February. Advice: It puts Maclin on track to suit up Thursday night against Oakland. He'll be returning from a four-game absence. With Travis Kelce emerging as Alex Smith's go-to target and rookie Tyreek Hill also showing promise, Maclin won't be more than a WR4 this week and going forward. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:57 am

Advice: Holtzman added the caveat of "if all goes well" in practice this week. Maclin has been out since Week 9 with a groin injury. Even if he returns Thursday night, there is a decent chance he will be limited. Even in a good matchup, Maclin is nothing more than a WR4. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:36 am

  • Luck picks apart Jets w/ 4 TDs in MNF blowout
Andrew Luck completed 22-of-28 passes for 278 yards and four touchdowns in the Colts' Week 13 win over the Jets on Monday night.

Advice: With the Colts stomping the Jets 41-10 with about 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter, coach Chuck Pagano called off the dogs and replaced Luck with Scott Tolzien. It was quite the return from a Week 11 concussion for Luck after he missed the Thanksgiving night game. Luck found Dwayne Allen for wide-open seven- and 21-yard touchdown passes on the Colts' first two possessions. The two later hooked up for a third score from 23 yards out before halftime. That time, the Jets actually covered Allen, but he made a great catch. Luck's fourth score was a three-yarder to Donte Moncrief to make it 30-3. His favorite receiver on the night, T.Y. Hilton, racked nine catches and 146 yards on 10 targets, doing whatever he wanted against soft coverage. The Colts will host the Texans in Week 14 where Luck will be an elite QB1 play. Browns coach Hue Jackson said Monday that it's "too soon" to say whether Robert Griffin III will start in Week 14 against the Bengals.

Advice: Although Jackson was noncommittal in this presser, seemingly all of the Browns' beat writers believe RG3 will be under center versus Cincinnati. • Rex offers cryptic comments on Tyrod Taylor
Speaking about Tyrod Taylor's play following Sunday's loss, Bills coach Rex Ryan said "look, let's just let this play out."

Advice: "We feel pretty comfortable with Tyrod," Ryan said. "There's a lot of factors that go into everything." Taylor had a strong first quarter Sunday, but then melted down as the Bills blew a big lead. Taylor's play has really started to ebb in recent weeks after a more consistent middle stretch of the season. Writing about the performance on Monday, respected Bills beat writer Joe Buscaglia said "if it’s me, as of right now, I would be moving on from Taylor." • Report: KC 'optimistic' Maclin back for TNF
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Chiefs are "optimistic" Jeremy Maclin (groin) will return from his four-game absence on Thursday Night Football.

Advice: Speaking Monday, coach Andy Reid claimed ignorance on Maclin's status, but this is a pretty strong indication he will finally return. Travis Kelce has emerged as the Chiefs' No. 1 receiver in Maclin's absence, and been a much more dangerous weapon than Maclin was before going down. Maclin's return could still curb Kelce's upside, but we wouldn't consider Maclin more than a WR4 against the Raiders. Rotoworld.com Monday, 11:21 am

  • 'Real chance' Griffin III starts this week
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports there's a "real chance" Robert Griffin III (shoulder, injured reserve) is the Browns' Week 14 starter.

Advice: Griffin has yet to even be formally activated off injured reserve, but most signs are pointing toward him starting against the Bengals. The lost-year Browns might as well take a four-game look — if Griffin can stay healthy that long — headed into the offseason. Speaking Monday, Chiefs coach Andy Reid said "I don't know" when asked about Jeremy Maclin's (groin) Week 14 availability.

Advice: "He's making improvement," was Reid's unhelpful addendum. Despite getting in three limited practices, Maclin didn't seem particularly close to returning on Sunday. There's a pretty strong chance he won't suddenly be cleared in three days time for Thursday Night Football. Even if Maclin does play, his usual complement of snaps is unlikely. Saints TE Josh Hill suffered a broken fibula Week 13 against the Lions.

Advice: Hill also suffered an ankle injury, but it is not believed to be broken. It is a tough turn of events for a player who had been taking over the starting job in the last several weeks. With Hill out for the season, Coby Fleener should have steadier snap and route totals moving forward. Advice: Matthews was able to get in a limited practice last Thursday, but he was held out on Friday after getting "a little sore." Advice: Coach Doug Pederson said he likely will not practice Wednesday but will play against the Redskins. • 'All signs point' to RG3 starting this week?
ESPN's Pat McManamon wrote "all signs point" to Robert Griffin III getting the start this week.

Advice: Hue Jackson has yet to name a starter, and McManamon's prediction comes with the important caveat of "provided he makes it through practice and looks like he has shaken off three months of rust." Still, it makes sense for the Browns to see what Griffin can do, especially considering they averaged fewer than 10 points in their last four games. Even if Griffin gets the nod, the offense around him is too poor and the chance of an in-game injury is too high to trust him in the first-round of the playoffs. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:27 am

Advice: Renck reports Siemian's foot "has improved" since last week. He will be evaluated on Monday. The Broncos got the win against Jacksonville, but they won despite Paxton Lynch. Tyreek Hill played 25-of-49 (51%) snaps Week 13 against the Falcons.

Advice: It was a step back after he played 67 percent of the snaps the previous two weeks, but game-flow likely played a role. Even so, it is a reminder Hill is still something of a part-time player, albeit one who is fed targets when on the field and can house it at any time. • Watkins goes 3-38 on nine targets in defeat
Sammy Watkins caught 3-of-9 targets for 38 yards in the Bills' Week 13 loss to the Raiders.

Advice: After playing just 25-of-55 snaps in his Week 12 return, Watkins was in on 49-of-72 snaps in this one. He's obviously still not 100 percent coming off a broken foot, but the Bills need Watkins to be out there with Robert Woods (knee) and Percy Harvin (illness) out. Advice: Crabtree again led the Raiders in targets and production after an 8-110 line in Week 12. Crabtree could have had a bigger day, but committed a horrible drop in the end zone on a slant pass that hit him right in the chest with no defender on him. • Tyrod Taylor turns it over in loss to Raiders
Tyrod Taylor completed 18-of-35 passes for 191 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception in the Bills' Week 13 loss to the Raiders.

Advice: He added 30 yards rushing and one touchdown on three attempts. The touchdown run was a great read-option keeper where Khalil Mack crashed hard and didn't hold the edge, letting Taylor walk in easily. Mack later got his revenge, though, getting to Taylor to tip a pass, causing his interception deep in Buffalo territory, and then recording a strip-sack and recovering the fumble. Buffalo held a 24-9 lead at one point, but allowed 29 unanswered points to fall to 6-6. They need wins from here on out. Taylor will be a borderline QB1 next week against the Steelers. Advice: He also added three catches for 23 yards on five targets. Both of Murray's scores were of the shirt-yardage variety, with the first one coming from a yard out and the second from three yards away. He now has 11 touchdowns on the year for the top team in the AFC. With DeAndre Washington phased out of the offense in recent weeks, Murray has also been taking on a bigger pass-game role. Advice: Hill has now cleared 50 yards receiving in four straight games, and 5-of-6. A gadget player, Hill comes with a low weekly floor, but is capable of providing monster efforts on only a handful of touches. The Raiders are not an imposing Week 14 matchup. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 3:04 pm

He was bottled up by Jimmy Smith for most of the afternoon but salvaged the day for fantasy owners by scoring a late touchdown. Because Denard Robinson himself left with an ankle injury, the Jags were forced to lean on Yeldon as their feature back in the final two quarters. • DeVante Parker officially active for Week 13
DeVante Parker (back) is active for Week 13 against the Ravens.

Advice: It's a stunning development after Parker was considered a long shot to play earlier this morning. He'll have a tough assignment this week going against Jimmy Smith (back), who is also active. TE Thomas Duarte, T Bryce Harris, CB Xavien Howard, LB Jelani Jenkins, CB Jordan Lucas, C Mike Pouncey and WR Rashawn Scott round out Miami's inactive list for Week 13. Brandon Albert (wrist), Kiko Alonso (hamstring), Jermon Bushrod (calf), Kenyan Drake (knee), Earl Mitchell (back) and Laremy Tunsil (shoulder) are all active for the Dolphins. Daily Slant: Given Parker's situation, it’s a great time to look at Jarvis Landry. Baltimore ranks 1st in rush DVOA, according to Football Outsiders, so the Phins will likely struggle on the ground. With Parker hobbled, Tannehill could spread some of his looks to Landry, who will avoid Jimmy Smith in the slot. Landry is a solid option, especially on full PPR sites. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:44 am

  • Jordan Matthews officially inactive at Cincy
Jordan Matthews (ankle) is officially inactive for Week 13 at Cincinnati.

Advice: Zach Ertz should be the Eagles' primary pass catcher in plus draw. The rest of the Eagles' inactives are RB Ryan Mathews, DE Steven Means, OL David Andrews, OL Dillon Gordon, OL H(insert spelling) Vaitai, and DT Taylor Hart. Daily Slant: It’s a great spot to fire up Dorial Green-Beckham in addition to Ertz, as he should see an uptick in production as well. Carson Wentz has very few options outside of those two. Last week, with Matthews shuffling in and out of the game, DGB caught 6-of-10 targets for 82 yards. He had a 5/54/1 line against a tough Seahawks defense a week prior. Today, he has a nice matchup against a Cincinnati defense that ranks 17th in pass DVOA, according to Football Outsiders. Given that he’s at or near the minimum price across the industry, he projects as a high points-per-dollar option, best used in tournaments. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:43 am

  • Change of plans: DeVante Parker good to go
DeVante Parker (back, questionable) will play Sunday in Week 13 against the Ravens.

Advice: This comes only a few hours after ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Parker was not expected to play. Parker went out for pregame warmups and must have shown enough to get the green light. Playing at less than 100 percent and likely to face Jimmy Smith in coverage, Parker will be a risky bet as a WR3 this week. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:06 am

  • Martellus Bennett 'good to go' for Week 13
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Martellus Bennett (ankle, shoulder, questionable) will play Week 13 against the Rams.

Advice: Bennett will take over as the clear No. 1 tight end in the wake of Rob Gronkowski's season-ending back injury. Bennett has occupied that role to little consistent success in six games already this season, but the opportunity is too big to ignore in a shallow tight end pool. He will be a back-end TE1 with the upside for a lot more moving forward. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 5:48 am

  • Jordan Matthews (ankle) not expected to play
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Jordan Matthews (ankle, questionable) is unlikely to play Sunday in Week 13 against the Bengals.

Advice: It would be the first game he's missed in his three-year career. Matthews is still feeling the effects of a sprained right ankle he suffered in Monday night's loss to Green Bay. He tried to practice on Thursday but never felt right. Beat writer Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ Advanced Media called him a "true 50/50 game-time decision" for Week 13, but it looks like the decision has already been made. • Latavius Murray (ankle) all set for Sunday
Latavius Murray (ankle, questionable) will play Sunday in Week 13 against the Bills.

Advice: As expected. Murray was listed as questionable after putting in a limited week of practice, but his status for Sunday was never in jeopardy. Despite eclipsing 60 yards rushing only once this season, Murray has settled in as a weekly RB2 on the strength of a high touchdown rate and solid receiving numbers. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 5:15 am

Advice: Coach Adam Gase said he would "err on the side of caution" with Parker this week. Parker got in some side-work Friday and looks like he'll only miss one game. Advice: Maclin appeared on track to return after practicing on a limited basis all week and being listed as questionable on Friday. He was clearly not ready to go coming out of a long injury layoff, however, and did not even make the trip to Atlanta. With Maclin out, Tyreek Hill should once again serve as the No. 1 receiver in a great matchup. He is a WR3 with a ton of upside. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:35 am

  • Martellus (ankle) draws the questionable tag
Martellus Bennett (ankle, shoulder) is questionable for Week 13 against the Rams.

Advice: Bennett isn't 100 percent or probably anywhere close to it, but he'll give it a go this week with Rob Gronkowski (back) on the shelf. Even at less than full strength, Bennett should see enough targets to warrant TE1 consideration in a good matchup against the struggling Rams.Daily Slant: After burning his DFS owners in recent weeks, this is a great spot to get a high-upside option at a low ownership percentage. Our projected ownership page has him at 3% in GPPs, and with Gronk out for awhile, Bennett should be at least 5-8 times as popular. He's been a disappointment in the last two games, but should see an uptick in targets in Week 13. Los Angeles has allowed the 10th most TDs per game to TEs on the year. The TE spot isn't that deep this week, especially on the high end, so saving cap here is recommended. Rotoworld.com Friday, 1:24 pm

Jeremy Maclin (groin) is questionable for Week 13 against the Falcons.

Advice: Maclin put in a limited week of practice and should be good to go after sitting out the last three games with a groin injury. His return puts a damper on Tyreek Hill, who absolutely crushed it during Maclin's absence. Maclin was struggling before his injury and won't be anything more than a back-end WR3 this week. • Jordan Matthews a true game-time decision
According to Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ Advanced Media, Jordan Matthews (ankle, questionable) is a "true 50/50 game-time decision" for Week 13 against the Bengals.

Advice: He was downgraded to DNP at Friday's practice after returning to a limited session on Thursday. The Eagles are desperately thin at receiver and will probably wait as long as they can to see if Matthews can give it a go. Fortunately the Eagles play at 1 PM ET on Sunday, so fantasy owners will have time to make changes if he can't get the green light. Dolphins coach Adam Gase indicated Friday that he will err on the side of caution with DeVante Parker (questionable, back) and protect Parker from himself, even if Parker says he can play against the Ravens.

Advice: This is the opposite of the Bills' approach to injured players. "He might even tell me I'm ready to go and I might say no," were Gase's words when quizzed on Parker's availability. Advice: While the Broncos have said Siemian could play without practicing, it's clear he has a significant injury and won't be playing against the Jags. It's a shame as Siemian is coming off his best game of the season. He's dealing with a sprained left foot and it's unclear how long the injury will linger. Luck has been able to practice all this week, and the Colts waived third-string quarterback Stephen Morris on Thursday. But Yeldon isn't 100 percent himself and figures to be unable to carry a full load after rushing just six times for 17 yards in Ivory's absence last week. This comes less than a week after Lynn said Watkins' conditioning was "not where it needs to be." Obviously Lynn isn't convinced that Watkins is 100 percent or anywhere close to it. Advice: Ryan said he expects Watkins to play against Oakland this week "barring a setback." Watkins played well in his return from an eight-game absence in Week 12, securing all three of his targets for 80 yards.
