• PUP bound?
Wonnum (quadriceps) could begin the summer on Carolina's PUP list, Mike Kaye of the Charlotte Observer reports.

Advice: Wonnum agreed to a two-year deal with the Panthers earlier in the offseason, but he's still dealing with a quadriceps issue from last year that has kept him off the field thus far. Despite Wonnum potentially starting Carolina's summer on the PUP list, he's expected to contribute as one of the Panthers' starting edge rushers alongside Jadeveon Clowney "at some point," according to Kaye. • Adds weight, looking improved
Ojulari has added 10 pounds and focused on shortening his stride this offseason, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN reports.

Advice: Ojulari, a 2023 second-round pick, was sidelined until training camp as a rookie due to hamstring and knee injuries, making this his first fully healthy offseason. Now, Ojulari will need to compete for a sizeable role in Arizona's crowded outside linebacker rotation in order to build on a rookie campaign in which he tallied 40 tackles (32 solo), 4.0 sacks and one pass breakup across 17 games. With a larger snap share in Year 2, Ojulari will be a sleeper candidate to make the leap to IDP fantasy relevance. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:59 am

  • Showing no rust
Rodgers, who missed the entire 2023 season due to a suspension for violating the NFL's gambling policy, has been one of Philadelphia's most impressive players this offseason, Tim McManus of ESPN reports.

Advice: Rodgers doesn't seem to have slowed down at all despite being a year removed from the NFL field, with teammate A.J. Brown saying "he's flying around, and he's going to do special stuff for us this year." McManus reports that Rodgers will be in position to compete for a starting spot at outside corner opposite Darius Slay during training camp, primarily vying with Kelee Ringo and rookie first-round pick Quinyon Mitchell for the role. • Time up in Seattle
The Seahawks waived Torrence on Monday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Advice: Torrence signed with the Seahawks shortly after going unselected in the 2024 NFL Draft, but he'll now need to search for an opportunity elsewhere in the league. The 6-foot-3 corner spent OTAs and mandatory minicamp in Seattle. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:21 pm

  • Making good recovery progress
Coach Sean McVay said during June minicamp that White (Achilles) is "making good progress" but is uncertain for the start of training camp in late July, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

Advice: White is currently working his way back from a right Achilles' tendon tear that cut his 2023 season short in October, and in 2022 he only suited up for six games before suffering a torn ACL. Since signing a one-year deal with the Rams, White has spent most of the offseason working off to the side with trainers, but he was reportedly able to participate in walkthroughs during the final week of OTAs. The 29-year-old figures to start at cornerback when he's healthy, but it remains to be seen whether he'll be ready to practice by the start of training camp, or to play a full share of snaps Week 1. • Let go by Jets
The Jets cut Hayes on Monday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Per the report, the move arrives a day after the cornerback -- who first saw NFL action in 2019 -- was arrested in Alabama for possession of marijuana. Hayes, who signed with the Jets' practice squad last October, recorded two tackles in Week 6 of the 2023 season and then spent the remainder of the campaign on the team's practice squad. • Chiefs inform Isaiah Buggs he will be released
    Chiefs released DL Isaiah Buggs.

Advice: This one felt inevitable. Over the last month, Buggs has been charged with misdemeanor cruelty to dogs in the second degree and was arrested last week on domestic violence and burglary charges. The sixth-year pro never played a regular-season game with the Chiefs and is unlikely to see action anytime soon as he sorts out these legal issues. Buggs played in 10 games for the Lions last season before being released, totaling 12 tackles, two TFLs, and one sack. Buggs after last week’s arrest. Rotoworld Monday, 8:00 am
