  • Gerald Everett catches 12-yard TD in win over CHI
Gerald Everett caught 4-of-5 targets for 28 yards and one touchdown in the Rams' Week 7 win over the Bears.

Advice: Tyler Higbee (hand) didn't play in this one, but Johnny Mundt was actually second on the Rams in receiving with a 3-47 line on three targets as the No. 2 tight end. Everett at least was able to find the end zone with a 12-yard score in the third frame. He and Higbee cancel each other out most weeks, leaving both as TE2 options ahead of Week 8 at Miami. • Jimmy Graham has 5-31 night in loss to Rams
Jimmy Graham caught 5-of-6 targets for 31 yards in the Bears' Week 7 loss to the Rams.

Advice: Graham has seen at least five targets in all but one game this season and is very clearly a favorite of Nick Foles in the scoring area. He's a TD-dependent back-end TE1 most weeks at a shallow fantasy position ahead of Week 8 against one of his former teams in the Saints. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:57 pm

  • Tyler Higbee (hand) inactive for MNF versus Bears
Tyler Higbee (hand) is inactive for Monday night's Week 7 game against the Bears.

Advice: Higbee was listed questionable after he got in a limited practice Saturday, but he's getting the red light for this one. It would seem to boost the stock of Gerald Everett, who is an attractive single-game slate DFS option. Also inactive for the Rams are OL Brian Allen, RB Xavier Jones, WR Trishton Jackson, and K Kai Forbath. Rookie Sam Sloman will be the kicker. Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:02 pm

  • Virgil Green (ankle) could move to injured reserve
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Chargers TE Virgil Green (ankle) is a candidate to be moved to injured reserve.

Advice: Green's X-rays reportedly came back negative but he's still expected to miss "several" weeks. Primarily featured as Los Angeles' blocking tight end, Green's absence likely opens the door for former XFL star Donald Parham to slide in for more reps behind Hunter Henry. Parham isn't viable for re-draft formats just yet, but he has exploded for 2/41/2 on only three targets so far this year. Rotoworld.com Monday, 12:33 pm

  • Report: Giants not interested in trading Engram
ESPN's Jordan Raanan reports teams have reached out to the Giants about acquiring Evan Engram.

Advice: Per Raanan, the Giants "view Engram as part of their future" despite the team's struggles to get Engram involved in the offense this season. League sources told Raanan that Engram would likely fetch a third or fourth round draft pick. Head coach Joe Judge has spoken positively about Engram in recent interviews. "We're going to keep giving him the ball, keep making him the focal point of our offense, and we expect him to keep showing up," Judge said after Engram's back-breaking dropped pass against the Eagles in Week 7. It was the first time the Giants targeted Engram more than 20 yards down the field this season. It's unlikely the Giants will part with the tight end unless a team comes up with an offer they can't turn down. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:08 am

  • Waller records a touchdown on nine targets in loss
Darren Waller caught 6-of-9 targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in Las Vegas' Week 7 loss to the Buccaneers.

Advice: Waller's lone touchdown occurred from the one-yard line to move the Raiders within one score (24-17) of Tampa Bay in the third quarter. Waller's nine targets also tied Nelson Agholor's (5/107/1) total for the team lead, giving the former three consecutive games with at least seven opportunities. He remains a bright spot for both the Raiders and tight end position in fantasy. Rotoworld.com Monday, 2:39 am

  • Darren Fells to see a single target in Week 7 loss
Darren Fells wasn't targeted in Houston's Week 7 loss to Green Bay.

Advice: In his defense, Houston's offense wasn't an impactful one on Sunday. Jordan Akins (ankle, concussion) missed his third consecutive game but Fells still failed to make a single play. Akins will likely return after the team's Week 8 bye, moving Fells back to waivers for fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:22 am

  • Robert Tonyan (2-32) sees two targets in win
Robert Tonyan caught both of his targets for 32 yards in Green Bay's Week 7 win over the Packers.

Advice: A majority of his production came on a 31-yard catch that Tonyan, who was considered questionable for this one, had to dive for after he beat Eric Murray down the sideline. It's worth noting that Tonyan has totaled nine targets across three games with Davante Adams and 11 (5.5 per game) in the two the latter was sidelined for. Tonyan will remain a low-end TE1 against the Vikings in Week 8 if only for the offense he's involved in. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 10:28 pm

  • Greg Olsen targeted three times vs Cardinals
Greg Olsen caught 2-of-3 targets for 18 yards in Week 7 against the Cardinals.

Advice: Olsen continued to have a low-volume role behind DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. He was out-targeted by Will Dissly (4) and ceded snaps to Jacob Hollister. Olsen is a touchdown-dependent TD2 for Week 8 against the 49ers. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:59 pm

  • Albert Okwuegbunam goes 7/60 versus Chiefs
Albert Okwuegbunam caught 7-of-7 targets for 60 yards in the Broncos' Week 7 loss to the Chiefs.

Advice: Even with Noah Fant back from his ankle injury, "Albert O" tied his fellow seam stretcher for the team lead in targets. Drew Lock is lost right now, and he seems to be retreating to the comfort of his college teammate, who does have the tools to be a big-play and red-zone threat. Of course, with Fant back, Okwuegbunam's current targets pace — 13 in two games — can't possibly keep up. Okwuegbunam is a bottom-basement TE2 flier in an awful year for the position.  Rotoworld.com Sunday, 4:58 pm

  • Hunter Henry hauls in 3-of-7 targets vs. Jaguars
Hunter Henry caught 3-of-7 targets for 23 yards in the Chargers' Week 7 win over the Jaguars.

Advice: It was a slow game for Henry, but in the current tight end landscape, it's hard to find seven-target outings. Henry just missed on a few first downs while Justin Herbert locked onto Keenan Allen as his primary first read. The franchise-tagged tight end left the game late after being poked in the eye, but those typically are short-term issues and shouldn't affect his Week 8 status as a mid-range TE1. • Travis Kelce held to 3-31 versus Broncos
Travis Kelce caught 3-of-3 targets for 31 yards in the Chiefs' Week 7 win over the Broncos.

Advice: Kelce was actually out-gained by reserve TE/FB Nick Keizer, who also lost a fumble. It was just one of those days for fantasy managers, as the Chiefs offense had to do very little in a game where the defense and special teams both provided touchdowns. Kelce entered Week 7 having reached 50 yards in 6-of-6 appearances. He will bounce back to smoke the pathetic Jets in Week 8.  Rotoworld.com Sunday, 4:41 pm

  • Gronk spikes second touchdown in as many weeks
Rob Gronkowski caught 5-of-8 targets for 62 yards and one score in Tampa Bay's Week 7 win over the Raiders.

Advice: It was Gronkowski's second touchdown in as many games as he and Tom Brady tied Steve Young and Jerry Rice with 92 touchdowns with each other to become the second-most productive duo in NFL history. Gronk's touchdown catch in the corner of the end zone was a vintage moment, seeing him simply out-jump CB Nevin Lawson and pluck the ball from the air before finishing with a celebratory spike. He's now seen six targets in four of his last five games and eight in back-to-back showings. He'll remain ranked as a TE1 in Week 8 against the Giants. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 4:40 pm

  • Still hurting, Fant held to three catches vs. KC
Noah Fant caught 3-of-7 targets for 38 yards in the Broncos' Week 7 loss to the Chiefs.

Advice: Attempting to play through a high-ankle sprain after sitting out Week 6, Fant appeared nowhere close to 100 percent healthy, though he never checked out of the game. Limping throughout, it's unclear if Fant suffered any setbacks. It was certainly questionable whether or not he should have been out there. Fant will likely barely practice this week ahead of next Sunday's showdown with the Chargers. Despite today's disappointing, injured effort, Fant's usage and upside will keep him in the top 10 for Week 8.  Rotoworld.com Sunday, 4:37 pm

  • Kittle catches 5 for 56 yards vs. Patriots
George Kittle caught 5-of-7 targets for 56 yards in the 49ers' Week 7 win against the Patriots.

Advice: Kittle had a ho-hum day while the Niners' rushers gashed the Patriots time and again. He seemed to enjoy himself flattening defenders on running plays in San Francisco's high-testosterone offensive attack. Kittle will be his usual top-end TE1 self next week against the Seahawks.  Rotoworld.com Sunday, 4:14 pm

David Njoku caught 2-of-3 targets for 20 yards and a touchdown in the Browns' Week 7 win over the Bengals.

Harrison Bryant caught 4-of-5 targets for 56 yards and two touchdowns in the Browns' Week 7 win over the Bengals.

Advice: The Browns chose to start Bryant over David Njoku with Austin Hooper (appendicitis) inactive. Njoku also scored but did so on just three targets. Both players will be involved whenever Hooper is out but Bryant will be the only Cleveland tight end with a fantasy-relevant role. Hayden Hurst caught 6-of-7 targets for 68 yards in the Falcons' Week 7 loss to the Lions.

Advice: The 68 yards were Hurst's second most of the season. The same goes for the seven targets. Hurst has settled in as a back-end TE1 in a pass-heavy offense where he's the third or fourth option for Matt Ryan. • Jared Cook finds end zone versus Panthers
Jared Cook caught 3-of-4 targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' Week 7 win over the Panthers.

Advice: With Michael Thomas (hamstring) and Emmanuel Sanders (COVID-19) sidelined, it appeared like Cook might finally get more involved after he capped the Saints' marathon opening drive with a four-yard score in the back right corner of the end zone. He bullied Tre Boston on a 50-50 ball. Instead, Cook was held below five targets for his third straight game going back to Week 2. Even with three scores in five appearances, Cook's TE1 appeal is waning. The Bears are a tough Week 8 matchup.  Rotoworld.com Sunday, 2:24 pm

Advice: Samples' five targets only accounted for 10.6% of Joe Burrow's throws so his numbers aren't awfully impressive. Jonnu Smith caught 1-of-4 targets for nine yards in the Titans' Week 7 loss to the Steelers.

Advice: Outside of Travis Kelce and George Kittle, it's expected for tight ends to have total duds like this one, and he nearly saved his day with a red zone target. Smith was bottled up by one of the best defenses in the NFL but should still be viewed as a top-10 fantasy tight end, although A.J. Brown's return does chop off a target or two per game for Smith. Advice: Again, Schultz saw plenty of playing time, and again, it didn't turn into production. He's seen fewer than six targets in all of the past three weeks. Schultz won't be anything more than a low-end TE2 with little upside in Week 8 against the Eagles.  Rotoworld.com Sunday, 1:53 pm

Advice: Ebron finished third in targets and likely ends as a TE1 in 12-team PPR leagues. Ben Roethlisberger's season-high 49 pass attempts played into Ebron's larger than normal reception total this week, but Ebron has touchdown potential as a plus red zone option, too. Advice: With three seconds left to play in the fourth quarter and the Lions down 22-16, Hockenson caught the game-winning 11-yard touchdown from Matthew Stafford as time expired to stun the Falcons again. Hockenson's five grabs matched a season-high, and the 59 yards were his second-most through seven weeks. Advice: Tonyan sat out of practice in the middle of the week before logging a limited practice on Friday. He has seen at least three targets in every game following Week 1 and has become a weekly starter for fantasy managers. Tonyan has five scores on the year, most among Packers pass-catchers. Mercedes Lewis and Jace Sternberger could steal a few additional snaps from Tonyan this week but neither is worth a look from fantasy managers as long as Tonyan is active. Advice: Higbee got in a limited practice Saturday, suggesting he's on the right side of the Q tag. Rams TE Tyler Higbee (hand) did not practice Friday but is expected to play Monday against the Bears.

Advice: Higbee drafters have watched in abject horror as Gerald Everett eats into Higbee's targets. Everett over the past three games have played half the Rams' snaps and has just on fewer target than Higbee. Everett has run 39 pass routes to Higbee's 52 over that span. Advice: Fant recorded a 19.8% target share in his first four games for the Broncos and suddenly returns with Drew Lock back under center. Presumably healthy after being removed from the team's injury report on Friday, Fant should be valued as a top-10 tight end in Week 7 for what should be negative game script against Kansas City on Sunday. • Evan Engram mars six-catch night with mistakes
Evan Engram caught 6-of-9 targets for 46 yards in the Giants' Week 7 loss to the Eagles, adding two rushes for three additional yards.

Advice: It was a brutal, brutal night for the 26-year-old, as he was the cause of Daniel Jones' second quarter interception by batting the ball up in the air. That was just a warmup for what would come with 2:09 remaining in the game, where Engram dropped a sure first down on a 3rd-and-7, one that would have functionally allowed the G-Men to end the game. It was the continuation of a brutal year for the should-be TE1, one that has seen him held below 50 yards six times in seven games. There has been loose trade chatter, but Engram's value is sitting at an all-time low ahead of next week's showdown with the Cowboys. Despite tonight's mistakes, Engram's target counts and the Cowboys' defensive permissiveness will keep him in the top 16 at tight end.  Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:44 pm

Advice: It's a new injury for the TE18 by average points in half-PPR leagues. It's likely just early-week precaution with the Rams playing on Monday night, but Higbee's Week 7 cannot be taken for granted. Advice: It means that, barring a Friday setback, Fant will be good to go against the Chiefs after missing last week's upset of the Patriots. It's a huge development for a struggling Drew Lock, who will finally have a target capable of doing some damage at the short-to-intermediate areas of the field. Advice: Per Demovsky, Tonyan was doing more than the Packers' other injured players, but he still was not in pads. Tonyan is now looking genuinely questionable for Sunday's showdown with the Texans after playing through the injury against the Bucs in Week 6. Advice: It's been a forgettable two weeks in the box score for Schultz in the aftermath of the Dak Prescott broken ankle. This offense can no longer support four or five weapons, and Schultz is that fourth or fifth option. He'll be a TE2 for Week 7 against Washington. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:05 pm

  • Travis Kelce scores twice in Week 6 win over Bills
Travis Kelce caught 5-of-7 targets for 65 yards and two touchdowns in the Chiefs' Week 6 win over the Bills.

Advice: Kelce now has five scores on the year, tied for first in the entire league. He did cough up a crucial fumble before halftime that cost Kansas City a shot at a field goal. It also gave Tyler Bass a chance at putting three points on the board for Buffalo but he couldn't connect. Kelce led the Chiefs in targets and outside of a single fumble, had another tremendous outing. Being the top receiving option for Patrick Mahomes gives him a higher weekly touchdown projection than any other tight end. He remains in contention with George Kittle for the title of TE1 overall in fantasy.  Rotoworld.com Monday, 5:01 pm

  • Njoku still looking to be traded before deadline
Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot reports Browns TE David Njoku is still looking to be traded before the November 3 deadline.

Advice: Njoku initially asked to be dealt on July 3, rescinded that request prior to camp, and has since changed his tune again in looking for a new home prior to the November 3 trade deadline. The Browns have yet to show any interest in trading the 24-year-old but, as Cabot notes, that could change with "an offer they can't refuse." Njoku has been linked to the Patriots as a potential destination dating back to August. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:31 pm

  • Jimmy Graham sees 8 targets in Week 6 win
Jimmy Graham caught 5-of-8 targets for 34 yards in the Bears' Week 6 win over the Panthers.

Advice: Graham was on the field for 68 percent of the Bears' snaps this week and was second on the team in targets, only behind clear No. 1 option Allen Robinson. The tight end has recorded 28 targets over the last four games, which also coincides with Nick Foles' entry into the lineup. Graham is a fringe top 15 tight end based on that volume alone. • Jonnu Smith dealing with 'minor' ankle sprain
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Titans TE Jonnu Smith's ankle sprain is considered "minor."

Advice: Smith caught 1-of-2 targets for 13 yards before leaving Tennessee's Week 6 game against the Texans before exiting with the injury. Blocking TE Anthony Firkser went on to catch eight passes for 113 yards and a touchdown, tilting Smith drafters into oblivion. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on Smith's practice status this week. It sounds like he avoided a log-term injury. Firkser would be a streaming option in deeper formats if Smith is out this week against the Steelers.  Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:54 am

  • Tyler Higbee leads Rams in Week 6 receiving
Tyler Higbee caught 3-of-4 targets for 56 yards in Week 6 against the 49ers.

Advice: Higbee had a larger role after he was held to two catches last week. He led the Rams in receiving on a night Jared Goff threw for under 200 yards. Higbee's 10% target share was still low, but this was his best game since going off for three touchdowns against the Eagles. Rotoworld.com Oct 18, 9:14 pm

  • George Kittle over 100 yards, TD in 49ers' win
George Kittle caught 7-of-10 targets for 109 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the Rams.

Advice: Kittle had the play of the night, scoring on a 44-yard pass from Jimmy Garoppolo down the seams. He broke a tackle on a slant and went untouched into the end-zone. This was a bounce back for Kittle, who was held to 44 yards by the Dolphins last week. Kittle will be one of the top tight end plays for a matchup with the Patriots in Week 7. • Tonyan catches three passes, battles injury Week 6
Robert Tonyan caught 3-of-4 targets for 25 yards in Green Bay's disastrous Week 6 loss to the Bucs.

Advice: Tonyan exited for a short stint during the second quarter and returned in the second half. Although his box score doesn't pop, the 26-year-old's 11.4% target share from Aaron Rodgers is encouraging given Davante Adams' (6/61) return to Green Bay's lineup. This performance can be forgotten as Tonyan will again rank as a top-12 tight end in Week 7 against the Texans. Rotoworld.com Oct 18, 6:27 pm

  • Gronk shakes off dust for 5/78/1 against Packers
Rob Gronkowski caught 5-of-8 targets for 78 yards and one score in Tampa Bay's Week 6 win over the Packers.

Advice: His touchdown was his first with the Buccaneers. Gronkowski rekindled an old flame with Tom Brady, finishing with a team-high eight targets (28.5% share). The 31-year-old has now seen at least six targets in three of his last four starts and admittedly looked like his old self in consistently boxing out Green Bay's linebackers and finding holes in the zone on Sunday. With O.J. Howard (torn ACL) done for the year, Gronk remains a TE2 with touchdown upside — especially if he continues play himself into game shape. Fantasy players can go back to him with confidence in Week 7 against Las Vegas. Rotoworld.com Oct 18, 4:34 pm

  • Darren Fells goes for 6/85/1 in Akins' absence
Darren Fells caught 6-of-7 targets for 85 yards and a touchdown in the Texans' Week 6 loss to the Titans.

Advice: With Jordan Akins sidelined, Fells posted season highs across the board. His third touchdown was his second in as many games. If Akins remains sidelined for Week 7 against the Packers, Fells will offer legitimate TE2 appeal. If Akins returns, Fells will not be a recommended streamer.  Rotoworld.com Oct 18, 3:24 pm

  • T.J. Hockenson goes 2/17/1 versus Jaguars
T.J. Hockenson caught 2-of-5 targets for 17 yards and a touchdown in the Lions' Week 6 win over the Jaguars.

Advice: It's the second straight week Hockenson has caught only two passes for sub-20 yards, though he managed to score both times out. Hockenson hasn't reached five catches since Week 1, while his season high for yardage is 62. The floor has proven acceptable in an awful year for the tight end position, but Hockenson needs to demonstrate more ceiling. Perhaps he will finally do so against the Falcons' bottom-barrel defense in Week 7.  Rotoworld.com Oct 18, 3:10 pm

Drew Sample didn't record a catch in Cincinnati's Week 6 loss to Indianapolis.

Advice: Sample has seen two targets or fewer in 3-of-4 starts in place of C.J. Uzomah (torn ACL). Fantasy players can move along to the next Hail Mary flier on waivers. Rotoworld.com Oct 18, 3:00 pm

  • Ebron catches two passes in win over Browns
Eric Ebron caught 2-of-4 targets for nine yards in the Steelers' Week 6 win over the Browns.

Advice: Big Ben threw just 22 passes in the Steelers' blowout win, instead leaning on James Conner and controlling the clock. Ebron plays roughly 75% of the snaps but is more of a back-end TE2 for the time being ahead of a Week 7 date with the Titans. Rotoworld.com Oct 18, 2:36 pm

  • Evan Engram kept in check versus Washington
Evan Engram caught 2-of-3 targets for 30 yards in the Giants' Week 6 win over Washington.

Advice: Engram has now been targeted five times in his past two games. He saved his fantasy backers last week with a rushing score but couldn't repeat that magic this week. The Giants' lack of offensive firepower under Daniel Jones has hamstrung Engram's fantasy output. The Giants have scored more than 20 points just once this year. Engram did see five targets in every game through four weeks before his recent drought. That volume should return and help him sustain low-end TE1 numbers going forward. Rotoworld.com Oct 18, 2:00 pm

  • Albert Okwuegbunam: Target leader in Broncos debut
Broncos TE Albert Okwuegbunam caught 2-of-6 targets for 45 yards in Week 6 against the Patriots.

Advice: Okwuegbunam was inactive the first four games with an ankle injury. Nick Vannett started with Noah Fant sidelined, but he ran more routes, tying Tim Patrick for the team lead in targets. Okwuegbunam was Drew Lock's tight end in college and looks to have a role moving forward.  The rookie fourth-rounder will be a streaming option if Fant misses another week. • Logan Thomas resurfaces with a touchdown in Week 6
Logan Thomas caught 3-of-4 targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in Washington's Week 6 loss to the Giants.

Advice: Thomas caught his first touchdown since Week 1 on a tear-drop throw by Kyle Allen. He also kept up his streak of at least four targets in every game with the Washington Football Team. However, he has topped out at four targets in each of the past three weeks. Despite finding the end zone, Thomas only recorded a 9.5% target share. His lack of targets in recent weeks combined with Washington's struggling offense makes him a TE2 moving forward. Rotoworld.com Oct 18, 1:38 pm

  • Hayden Hurst finds end zone late, posts 4-57-1
Hayden Hurst caught 4-of-4 targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons' Week 6 win over the Vikings.

Advice: Hurst has been inside the top-five in routes run all season and patient Hurst holders were rewarded with a TE1 finish. His touchdown came late on a sharp play design, one made possible because of Julio Jones' presence. Hurst arguably benefits with Jones in the lineup because he'll get softer coverages and Atlanta could pass the ball even more. The Falcons catch another awesome matchup in Week 7 with Detroit heading south. Hurst will be a top-10 option then. Rotoworld.com Oct 18, 1:24 pm

  • Jonnu Smith held to one grab before injuring ankle
Jonnu Smith caught 1-of-2 targets for 13 yards before leaving Tennessee's Week 6 game against the Texans with a left ankle injury.

Advice: Smith limped off the field and slammed down his helmet in the first half. He spent some time getting re-taped and trying to get warmed back up, but he was never spotted again after being announced as "questionable." Smith battled an ankle issue earlier this season but did not miss any time. With their bye week passed and the Steelers on tap for Week 7, Smith's loss for any amount of time would be huge for the Titans and fantasy managers alike. Smith entered today with five scores in four games, and is quickly establishing himself as a top-five TE1.   Rotoworld.com Oct 18, 12:53 pm
