Fania's Team fall short of projections, succumb to BIGGEE_DOWNWRAIDERS_4LIFE, 190.0-150.9
Fania's Team failed to bring their A game, falling short of their projected point total, as BIGGEE_DOWNWRAIDERS_4LIFE emerged victorious with a 190.0-150.9 win. BIGGEE_DOWNWRAIDERS_4LIFE leapt out to a 58.2-point lead on Thursday behind outstanding showings from Lamar Jackson (238 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 39 Rush Yds) and Brandon Jones (6.5) and never looked back. Teddy Bridgewater (34.6 points) and Dalvin Cook (19.3) were the leaders for Fania's Team in the loss. BIGGEE_DOWNWRAIDERS_4LIFE (4-6) will look to sustain their momentum against K Bizzle's Team, while Fania's Team (6-4) will meet Leader of the PACK in an effort to develop some positive momentum.
Stefon Diggs had a 57-yard catch and a 43-yard catch for BIGGEE_DOWNWRAIDERS_4LIFE, helping the team to an 88.9-43.7 lead.
Both teams had players with standout moments on Sunday afternoon, but it was BIGGEE_DOWNWRAIDERS_4LIFE who owned the lead, 148.7-115.3. For BIGGEE_DOWNWRAIDERS_4LIFE, AJ Dillon had a 50-yard catch. Teddy Bridgewater made the highlight reel for Fania's Team with a 64-yard pass.
While racking up 128 yards from scrimmage and running for 2 touchdowns against the Seahawks, Dillon recorded 26.8 points this week. His scoring output more-than-tripled his 7.43-point projection and was much higher than his 8.77-point season scoring average. Dillon will face the Vikings next week.
Props to you, BIGGEE_DOWNWRAIDERS_4LIFE. Assembling a starting crew that won by over 39 points this past week. We should keep this momentum rolling as we head into our Week 11 matchup.
Unless Fania's Team wants to go full diva-mode, then "not getting many looks" isn't really a reasonable excuse this time around. Our five pass-catchers (four WR, one TE) were targeted a grand total of 28 times in Week 10. Timing and chemistry appear to be issues as that group reeled in just 13 receptions.
