An Easy W fall to The Placebo Arm, 92.44-73.80
There's no sugarcoating it, An Easy W didn't do their job, at least based on projections, as The Placebo Arm secured a 92.44-73.80 win. The Placebo Arm never trailed in this one after earning an 8.60-point lead on Thursday behind Joe Mixon. Aaron Rodgers (18.2 points) and Melvin Gordon III (14.4) led the way for An Easy W in the loss. The Placebo Arm (1-1) will look to maintain their momentum against DeKaylin Zecharius, while An Easy W (0-2) will face off against Unstoppable in an effort to right the ship.
There were players with highlight-reel moments for both teams early Sunday, after which The Placebo Arm became the proud owner of a 79.44-72.00 lead. Ben Roethlisberger had an 84-yard touchdown pass and a 28-yard touchdown pass for The Placebo Arm, while Tyler Higbee had a 28-yard touchdown catch. Aaron Rodgers made the highlight reel for An Easy W with a 41-yard pass.
Harrison Butker had a couple of 58-yard field goals for The Placebo Arm, helping the team to a 92.44-72.00 lead.
Higbee was one of five starters to overachieve for The Placebo Arm this week. He scored 23.4 points (5 Rec, 54 Rec Yds, 3 Rec TDs) against the Eagles in Week 2 to more-than-triple his 6.64-point projection. Higbee ranks #44 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Bills next week.
The Placebo Arm
Whoa, The Placebo Arm, you really made a statement to your leaguemates with this victory. Not only did you win by 18.64 points, you also jumped up a couple of places in the league standings. Nice job!
An Easy W
"Not seeing many looks" shouldn't really be an excuse this week for An Easy W. As a group, our pass-catching corps (three WR and one TE) were targeted a respectable 18 times in Week 2. Those players should participate in some additional timing drills with their QBs, considering they notched only 10 receptions.
