Elvis earn win against CardinalFan in 128.90-90.62 runaway
Elvis stepped up, cruising to a 128.90-90.62 win over CardinalFan, who fell short of projections. Elvis got out to a 12.50-point lead on Thursday behind Randall Cobb (13.5 points) and never looked back. A.J. Brown (10 Rec, 155 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Carson Wentz (231 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs, 11 Rush Yds) led the charge for CardinalFan in the loss. Elvis (3-5) will look to keep it rolling against Kayfabe, while CardinalFan (3-5) will attempt to get back in the win column against Xheryk.
The Panthers defense (13 Pts Allowed, 213 Yds Allowed, 2 Turnovers) scored 11 points in a 19-13 win over the Falcons in Week 8. Their scoring output nearly doubled their 5.67-point projection and was much higher than their 6.14-point season scoring average. The Panthers defense ranks #10 among fantasy DEFs this season and will face the Patriots next week.
The Carolina Panthers defense
In a matchup that'll showcase a pair of teams separated by just a game in the standings, Elvis (3-5) are set to battle Kayfabe (4-4) in Week 9. Elvis might need to shuffle the deck a bit with Antonio Gibson and Alex Collins out on bye in Week 9. Kayfabe won't have Chris Carson. Over the last two weeks, Elvis have scored 114.25 points per game, while Kayfabe have averaged only 94.33 per contest.
On the docket next week, 12th-place CardinalFan (3-5) will try to get back on track against fourth-place Xheryk (5-3). Each side has multiple bye weeks to contend with in Week 9, as Geno Smith, J.D. McKissic, and Russell Wilson are off for CardinalFan while D'Andre Swift, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, and Tyrell Williams are out for Xheryk.
