Vultures fall short of expectations, lose to Hooligans, 148.35-141.25
There's no easy way to put it, Vultures didn't do their job, at least based on projections, as Hooligans earned a 148.35-141.25 win. Hooligans jumped out to a 69.95-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind stellar showings from Christian McCaffrey (72 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 65 Rec Yds) and Brandin Cooks (22.8) and never looked back. Rondale Moore (26.4 points) and Josh Allen (22.45) did everything they could for Vultures in the loss. Hooligans (2-0) will look to keep it rolling against Vultures, while Vultures (1-1) face Hooligans in an effort to right the ship.
Josh Allen had a 41-yard pass for Vultures, who trailed 111.10-41.15 after the early action.
There were players with highlight-reel moments for both teams on Sunday afternoon, but it was Hooligans who owned the lead, 148.35-134.25. For Hooligans, Ryan Tannehill had a 51-yard pass. Rondale Moore made the highlight reel for Vultures with a 77-yard touchdown catch.
While catching 9 passes for 78 yards and a touchdown against the Browns, Cooks scored 22.8 points this week. He scored 55.6% more than his 14.65-point projection in the 31-21 loss. Cooks ranks #36 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Panthers next week.
