Back-and-forth battle ends with Negligent Discharges coming back to defeat Doughboys, 129.9-119.6
Well, that was thrilling! After a back-and-forth matchup featuring three lead changes, Negligent Discharges earned a come-from-behind victory over Doughboys, coming back to earn a 129.9-119.6 win. Despite trailing 119.6-107.3 heading into Monday night, Negligent Discharges came storming back behind J.D. McKissic, who racked up 56 yards from scrimmage and scored 2 touchdowns for 22.6 points. Dawson Knox (18.2 points) and Ezekiel Elliott (16.9) did their part for Doughboys in the loss. Negligent Discharges (6-6) will look to earn another W against Mutinous Apes, while Doughboys (7-5) try to get back in the win column against Steel Reign.
While racking up 56 yards from scrimmage and scoring 2 touchdowns against the Seahawks, McKissic scored 22.6 points this week. His scoring output more-than-doubled his 8.33-point projection and was much higher than his 10.66-point season scoring average. McKissic ranks #93 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Raiders next week.
Kudos on assembling a lineup that won by over 10 points this past week. We deem that to be a job well done. Let's keep this momentum as we head into our next challenge in Week 13.
Like the NFL's tackling rules, remember to keep your head up, Doughboys! Try to take comfort in the fact that your generosity this week did not go unnoticed. It takes a true winner to help someone like Negligent Discharges succeed... and when the time comes, maybe they'll return the favor by choosing a couple of kickers early in the 2022 draft (...something along those lines).
