Meninblack's Team was handed a solid draft position, and they fumbled it away. Even though they had the No. 2 overall pick, they're projected to finish 7th in Yahoo Public 50722. Behind multiple Lions in the early rounds (Kerryon Johnson and Kenny Golladay), Meninblack's Team are looking at a final record of 5-9 (1,861 points).
- Tarik Cohen
Meninblack's Team scored a late-round bargain in selecting Cohen with the 2nd pick of the 11th round, about three rounds later than his ADP of 75. After a season in which he ran for 444 yards and 3 TDs and hauled in 71 passes for 725 yards and 5 TDs, totaling 198 fantasy points, Cohen is projected to score 199 fantasy points with the Bears. That makes him a valuable No. 4 RB for this squad.
- Kerryon Johnson
Going out on a Limb
Everyone, it seems, is a self-declared fantasy expert nowadays, so there's no telling who inspired you to choose Johnson in the 3rd round, about 17 slots earlier than his ADP of 39. Then again, maybe you're onto something. Projected to score 217 fantasy points this season with the Lions, he appears set to top his rookie year when he rushed for 641 yards and 3 TDs and hauled in 32 balls for 213 yards and 1 TD over 10 games to earn 123 fantasy points. Johnson will slot in as the No. 3 RB for Meninblack's Team, according to projected points.
Week 9 could bring on a case of the Bye Week Blues for Meninblack's Team, as they have five players on a bye (Matt Ryan, Alvin Kamara, Joe Mixon, Brandin Cooks, and Jared Cook). Glen's Fabulous Team, your Week 9 opponent, won't be nearly as encumbered with only two players (Todd Gurley II and A.J. Green) on a bye week.
Meninblack's Team have a fairly balanced path in Yahoo Public 50722 this season based on projections with a strength of schedule ranked as the 4th hardest.
With an average of 4.6 years of NFL experience, ranking in the middle of the pack for the league, Meninblack's Team are balancing both youth and experience. As an example of that moderation, they didn't select any of the five rookies drafted.
Even with offensive openings at QB, WR, and TE in the 3rd round, Meninblack's Team selected RB Kerryon Johnson at No. 22, filling the WR/RB/TE flex position instead of a position of higher importance. They were the first squad to make their first flex pick.

How We Grade
Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
