    • Raiders may feature WR Tre Tucker in slot
Raiders team reporter Levi Edwards believes second-year WR Tre Tucker will be the starting slot receiver in three-wide receiver sets this season.

Advice: Tucker operated as a vertical slot receiver last year, ranking top-two in aDot (17.5), yards per reception (17.8) and deep-target rate (30.0 percent) among 17 rookie wide receivers with at least 75 slot receiving snaps. He caught 100.0 percent of his targets deemed catchable by PFF. The Raiders deep tight end group, featuring Michael Mayer and first-round rookie Brock Bowers, make for tough interior target competition but Tucker’s continuing offseason drum beat and defined role work in his favor. • Bengals RBs ‘far more active’ in pass game
The Athletic’s Paul Dehner reports Bengals running backs have been “far more active” in the team’s passing game in offseason practices.

Advice: It’s unclear who will take on the Bengals’ primary pass-catching role out of the backfield, though Chase Brown excelled in that role as a rookie in 2023. The speedy Brown caught 14 of his 15 targets for 156 yards and a touchdown last season. Zack Moss could also mix in on passing downs, though he seems more likely to take on Cincinnati’s primary early down role. Last season, Joe Mixon saw an 11 percent target share (64 targets) as the team’s lead back. More pass-game usage could be a huge statistical boon for Brown if he seizes the pass catching role this summer. Rotoworld Today, 10:10 am

    • MIN HC compliments Addison’s improved strength
Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said Jordan Addison has gotten stronger and more physical this year.

Advice: “Jordan Addison had as good of an offseason program as really you can ask for,” O’Connell told ESPN. "[He is] a guy that had a ton of success in Year 1. And really, from a standpoint of getting a little stronger, getting a little bit more comfortable playing through contact and still playing with that great burst and transition that he has, you saw some real growth there [this spring].” Coming off an impressive rookie campaign that includes 70 grabs, 911 yards, and ten touchdowns, Addison will once again slot in as Minnesota’s WR2 behind Justin Jefferson. About 20 percent of Addison’s 2023 targets were more than 20 yards downfield. He caught six of 20 deep shots for 250 yards and four touchdowns. Rotoworld Today, 7:58 am

    • Impresses at spring practices
Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell said Addison had "as good of an offseason program as really you can ask for," ESPN's Kevin Seifert reports.

Advice: O'Connell said the wideout is stronger than he was as a rookie, and Addison mentioned that he's working to improve his technique on releases. Addison seems to have enjoyed a healthy offseason program, whereas last year he missed spring practices with an unspecified injury after the Vikings drafted him 23rd overall. He was on pace for 1,000 yards before Week 16 when an ankle sprain slowed him down, and he scored five touchdowns of at least 37 yards (plus a pair of 20-yarders) en route to a 70-911-10 receiving line across 108 targets and 17 games. There should be more target share for the taking with TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) uncertain for the early part of the season and former No. 3 receiver K.J. Osborn leaving in free agency, but there's also potential for QB trouble and reduced overall passing volume with Sam Darnold and/or J.J. McCarthy under center. Rotowire.com Today, 7:44 am

    • Puka Nacua mirroring Cooper Kupp’s offseason
Rams WR Puka Nacua is training alongside WR Cooper Kupp this offseason.

Advice: NFL.com’s Nick Shook reports that Nacua trained alongside Kupp this offseason. Rams wide receivers coach Eric Yarber said “He looks just like Cooper. He’s lost so much body fat and gained so muscle, which enabled him to move more efficiently now.” Nacua adjusted his diet and lost roughly 10 pounds, gaining better control of his body. Though he already had a record-setting rookie year, Nacua has worked to take the next step in his game, with help from Kupp. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:15 pm

    • Aims to make Year 2 leap
Rams wide receiver coach Eric Yarber said Nacua's "body is totally different" due to his training regiment this offseason, Nick Shook of NFL.com reports.

Advice: Nacua is coming off a stellar rookie campaign in which he racked up a 105-1,486-6 receiving line while suiting up for all 17 regular-season games, and he's putting in the offseason work to improve rather than resting on his laurels. Yarber said "[Nucua has] lost so much body fat and gained so much lean muscle, which enabled him to move more efficiently now," and that "he has better body control" entering Year 2. Nucua has reportedly dropped about 10 pounds over the offseason and shadowed Cooper Kupp, his positional mate and former Offensive Player of the Year, both in terms of training regimen and diet. Kupp was plagued by injuries even while on the field last season and should stands to demand a larger offensive share during the 2024 campaign, but Nucua looks to have already emerged as the new No. 1 wide receiver for Los Angeles. Coach Sean McVay's offense could be efficient enough for both wideouts to improve upon their production. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:39 pm

    • Meeting with Niners goes well
Aiyuk and the 49ers had a meeting Monday that Tom Pelissero of NFL Network described as "good," and both sides are continuing to work toward a contract extension, Grant Gordon of NFL.com reports.

Advice: Aiyuk, who held out of mandatory minicamp earlier this month, requested a meeting with San Francisco roughly one week after posting a video in which he told Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, whom he played with at Arizona State, that the 49ers "said they don't want me back," per Nick Wagoner of ESPN. It seems things have landed in a more amicable place following Monday's most recent meeting, though there still aren't any signs that an agreement on a new contract is immediately around the corner. As it stands, Aiyuk remains in line to play under the fifth-year option on his rookie contract for $14.12 million for 2025, but if that doesn't change by the start of training camp tensions could come to a head, especially if he continues to hold out. The 26-year-old is coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving campaigns and has been one of the most efficient wide receivers in the league in Kyle Shanahan offenses. • Schefty: Dolphins ‘want to pay’ Tagovailoa
ESPN’s Adam Schefter said the Dolphins “want to pay” Tua Tagovailoa, but at a “fair market value.”

Advice: As Schefter pointed out on NFL Live, the market for quarterbacks has seen a massive shift in recent weeks, with Jared Goff and Trevor Lawrence recently signing massive deals. According to Schefter, the Dolphins and Tagovailoa are now left to figure out “what is the proper value for a quarterback of [Tagovailoa’s] abilities,’ which could leave him on the shorter end of some of the deals we’ve seen given to quarterbacks as of late. Tagovailoa led the league with 4,624 passing yards last season and added another 29 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He’s currently set to play out 2024 on the fifth-year option that was picked up last offseason, but Schefter believes a deal will eventually get done between the two sides. If Tagovailoa wants a deal similar to those of Goff and Lawerence, it’s possible he’ll need to play out this final year and prove to the Dolphins’ front office he’s worth that kind of commitment. • A-Rich will be ‘full go’ for training camp
The Colts said Anthony Richardson will be a “full go” entering training camp despite a sore shoulder that was bothering him earlier this offseason.

Advice: Colts GM Chris Ballard said the team is not concerned about Richardson’s shoulder, which flared up earlier this month. Richardson underwent season-ending shoulder surgery to repair an AC joint sprain suffered in Week 5 and has been working his way back to the field ever since. When he wasn’t injured, Richardson flashed top-five fantasy upside as a rookie, thanks in part to his abilities as a rusher. Playing in Shane Steichen’s run-heavy attack, we’d expect Richardson to flash similar upside if he can stay healthy this season. The fact he’s expected to be a full-go in camp is a good sign, but his shoulder will remain something to monitor throughout the summer. Rotoworld Wednesday, 4:37 pm
