Despite top scorer Johnson, Boyfriend Killer fall to Ruler of the World, 95.1-77.7
Boyfriend Killer had the highest scorer in the matchup with RB David Johnson accumulating 22.2 points, the 10th-best total in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to vanquish Ruler of the World, who secured a 95.1-77.7 victory. Ruler of the World grabbed a 12.5-point lead early Sunday afternoon. Boyfriend Killer came back to take the lead during the late games on Sunday, powered by David Johnson (22.2 points) and Julio Jones (10.8). Unphased, Ruler of the World pulled it together later that night, as Philip Rivers (16.8 points) and Mike Williams (7.2) put them back ahead for good. Ruler of the World (2-4) will look to notch another W against Fighting Angels, while Boyfriend Killer (2-4) face Terry's Terrors in an effort to get back in the win column.
Facing the Buccaneers in Week 6, the Panthers defense allowed 26 points, surrendered 407 yards, and forced 7 turnovers. In doing so, they put up 21 points and nearly tripled their scoring projection, the third-highest percent increase of any DEF in the league this season. The Panthers will play the 49ers next week.
