    • Thielen: Bryce Young appears ‘more comfortable’
Adam Thielen said Bryce Young appears “more comfortable” this offseason than he did in 2023.

Advice: “It’s been awesome. Not only him, just a lot of the young guys, a lot of the staff. It’s just been a great offseason to just see some of these guys who haven’t been in the league very long — just the way that they’ve ,” Thielen said on the Rich Eisen Show. “You can tell, Bryce’s demeanor in the building — he’s just more comfortable, right? And you don’t realize it when you start getting to be a veteran guy, just because you forget about those times.” Offseason reports on Young have been unfailingly positive after he was among the worst quarterbacks in the NFL during his 2023 rookie season, in which he had the second worst adjusted EPA per drop back. A more competent Young could lead to solid seasons for short-area pass catchers like Thielen and Diontae Johnson in 2024. Rotoworld Friday, 9:30 am

    • Wilson ‘clearly’ playing better than Fields
The Athletic’s Mike DeFabo says Russell Wilson “has clearly been the better quarterback” during the Steelers’ offseason.

Advice: DeFabo added that there doesn’t be much of a competition at quarterback at this time, noting that Wilson “has taken the overwhelming majority of meaningful reps, including on the final day of minicamp, when almost every veteran took off.” He also said Fields “doesn’t often shine in seven-on-seven situations,” which isn’t a great endorsement for him with training camp a month away. Both Wilson and Fields are in career-rebuilding mode after flaming out at their previous stops. Neither is going particularly high in fantasy drafts, with Wilson currently going outside of the top 24 in most best ball drafts. Fields’ rushing ability makes him a potentially high-upside fantasy stash whenever he gets a chance to start, but it sounds like Wilson has a good grip on the job heading into training camp. • Rapoport: Stafford ‘wants more guaranteed money’
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Rams QB Matthew Stafford “wants his contract adjusted” after recent pay rises in the quarterback market.

Advice: Stafford is 36 years old and coming off a solid season passing for 3,965 yards, 24 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The Rams and head coach Sean McVay feel like they are in a good, competitive spot with Stafford after a productive season that got the team to a Wild Card game. Rapoport says, to his understanding, Stafford “wants more guaranteed money, doesn’t sound like he would mind a raise either.” Stafford is set to make $31 million in 2024 and has no guaranteed money in the remaining two years of his deal after this season. He is not expected to hold out of training camp, but with recent jumps in the quarterback market, Stafford desires more guaranteed money as he enters the late-30s stage of his career. • Struggles in spring practices
Wilson failed to impress at spring practices, according to Nick Kosmider of The Athletic.

Advice: Kosmider suggests Wilson seemed to have more trouble than rookie Bo Nix with the adjustment to coach Sean Payton's offense. While Wilson still has time to make an impression during training camp and the preseason, it sounds like he's currently positioned to be the No. 3 QB or even released. The Broncos acquired him in April for a late-round pick swap, trading down from No. 203 to 256 while taking on only half of Wilson's $5.5 million salary from the Jets. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:35 am
