    • Logging impressive offseason
Cunningham has been one of Baltimore's standouts throughout OTAs and minicamp, Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports.

Advice: Cunningham made the switch to wideout this spring, with coach John Harbaugh calling him "kind of a natural at the position." Harbaugh also noted that because of Cunningham's experience at quarterback, he has a good understanding of the passing game from that perspective. The second-year pro will compete for a depth role in a relatively thin Ravens wide receiver room, as well as potentially contribute in the return game. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:29 am

    • Could push for No. 3 role
Brooks looked good during spring practices and may get a chance to compete for the No. 3 receiver role in Dallas, ESPN.com's Todd Archer reports.

Advice: Jalen Tolbert is the favorite for the role, having essentially split it with Michael Gallup (now on the Raiders) last season. Brooks, meanwhile, played 77 snaps on offense and 82 on special teams in seven games as a rookie seventh-round pick, with four of his six catches coming in a 49-17 win over the Giants in Week 10. He was often a healthy scratch last season but now has an opportunity to move up to third or fourth on the depth chart behind entrenched starters CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks. • Getting first-team looks
McCloud got first-team reps this spring and caught some passes from QB Kirk Cousins for big plays, ESPN.com's Marc Raimondi reports.

Advice: McCloud mostly served as a return specialist and fourth/fifth WR while playing for four different teams the past six seasons, but he got five starts and 66 targets with the Steelers back in 2021, catching 39 passes for 277 yards en route to a league-low 4.2 yards per target. He may now get another chance at significant snaps on offense, having signed in March with an Atlanta team that has Drake London, Darnell Mooney and Rondale Moore projected as the top three wide receivers. London and Mooney are locked in as starters, and tight end Kyle Pitts will get a significant target share, but Moore was a disappointment in Arizona and could now face competition from McCloud for a No. 3 role that would figure to entail a lot of screen passes, jet sweeps, etc. rather than downfield targets. The Falcons also have KhaDarel Hodge and Casey Washington as options if they want to go with a more traditional WR and not a vertically challenged YAC specialist like the 5-foot-7 Moore or 5-foot-9 McCloud. • Ray-Ray McCloud sees first-team reps with Falcons
Falcons WR Ray-Ray McCloud saw first-team reps in minicamp.

Advice: ESPN’s Marc Raimondi reported McCloud, a journeyman entering his seventh NFL season, “performed well” in three-wideout sets during minicamp, connecting with Kirk Cousins for several big plays. Atlanta’s receiver room, as , is ominously thin entering the regular season. An injury to Darnell Mooney or Drake London could open up a starting role for McCloud — traditionally a kicker returner — in what will be a pass-first Falcons offense. He had 36 catches for 379 yards in two seasons with the 49ers before signing with the Falcons this spring. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:04 am

    • John Metchie appears to regain explosiveness
ESPN’s DJ Bien-Aime believes Texans WR John Metchie’s “explosiveness appears back.”

Advice: Metchie’s pro career has been derailed by a January 2021 ACL tear and a cancer diagnosis in 2022. In offseason practices, the former Alabama star has worked in a rotational role with Houston’s first-team offense. He had 158 yards on 16 receptions in 2023. Metchie will remain an afterthought in the Texans offense for as long as Tank Dell, Stefon Diggs, and Nico Collins are healthy. Rotoworld Tuesday, 5:38 am

    • Let go by Seattle
The Seahawks waived Williams on Monday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Advice: Williams inked with Seattle as an undrafted free agent after the 2024 NFL Draft, but after spending OTAs and minicamp with the team he'll now need to search for a new opportunity. As a senior at North Dakota State in 2023, Williams rushed 125 times for 768 yards and eight touchdowns. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:18 pm

    • Sermon ‘likeliest option’ to be RB2 behind Taylor
ESPN’s Stephen Holder believes Trey Sermon is “the likeliest option” to win the Colts’ backup running back job.

Advice: A former third-round pick of the 49ers in 2021, Sermon hasn’t seen much work as a pro, appearing in just 25 games during his three-year career while rushing for 78-346-1 over that span. With Zack Moss now in Cincinnati, Sermon, who joined the Colts last season, has a chance to earn a meaningful role heading into this season. Jonathan Taylor will still handle the large majority of the Colts’ touches, but whoever ends up as his backup could make for a solid stash in fantasy leagues. Sermon rushed for 88 scoreless yards on 17 carries in a Week 15 matchup against the Steelers last season and averaged a solid 4.6 YPC on the season. Rotoworld Monday, 2:55 pm

    • Healthy Kupp an offseason standout for Rams
ESPN’s Sarah Barshop says Cooper Kupp has been a “surprise offseason standout” for the Rams.

Advice: It goes without saying that Kupp, 31, is a well-established name in football circles, but Barshop notes that the veteran receiver being healthy this offseason is “showing up on the practice field.” Head coach Sean McVay also said during OTAs that he doesn’t think “anyone really understands the amount of things” Kupp was dealing with last season as far as injuries are concerned. Kupp has a concerning injury history, appearing in just 21 games over the last two seasons. He also hasn’t cracked 1,000 yards since going for 145-1,947-16 in 2021. While we don’t expect him to be the player he was during that 2021 season, Kupp still remains a high-volume target in the Rams’ offense. He was targeted on an impressive 23.2 percent of his routes last season. Assuming he’s healthy, Kupp should be a high-end WR2 in PPR drafts and is still more than capable of providing a top-12 fantasy week. Rotoworld Monday, 2:32 pm

    • Aiyuk and 49ers scheduled to meet with one another
Speaking on NFL Live, Ryan Clark reported that Brandon Aiyuk and the 49ers were scheduled to meet with one another on Monday.

Advice: According to Clark, this is a meeting . He also added that Aiyuk has taken contract negotiations with the team as “personal” over the last several months. Aiyuk posted a video to his social media account last week of him telling Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels that the 49ers “said they don’t want me anymore.” The team when it was reported they still wanted Aiyuk, but not at the price he is asking for. At this time, Aiyuk is set to play out 2024 under the franchise tag, where he’ll earn roughly $14 million. The veteran receiver caught 75 passes for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns last season and could likely get signed to his desired contract by another team if the 49ers were open to dealing him. Clark said Aiyuk would prefer to remain with the team but is open to playing elsewhere if the team opts to trade him. We expect to know more about this situation in the near future.
