  • Report: Mark Ingram (toe) expected to play
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Mark Ingram (toe) is expected to play Week 13 against the Lions.

Advice: Ingram was non-committal about his availability on Friday, but he did say the toe "felt good" during Friday's practice. Still, he could be forced into a more limited role because of the injury. Even in a good matchup, Ingram is a risky RB2 play. Tim Hightower deserves a look in the FLEX. Rotoworld.com 59 minutes ago

  • Latavius Murray (ankle) all set for Sunday
Latavius Murray (ankle, questionable) will play Sunday in Week 13 against the Bills.

Advice: As expected. Murray was listed as questionable after putting in a limited week of practice, but his status for Sunday was never in jeopardy. Despite eclipsing 60 yards rushing only once this season, Murray has settled in as a weekly RB2 on the strength of a high touchdown rate and solid receiving numbers. Rotoworld.com Today, 5:15 am

  • Lions pull the plug on RB Justin Forsett
    Lions released RB Justin Forsett.

Advice: Forsett had been a healthy scratch the last few weeks. He wasn't needed behind Theo Riddick, Dwayne Washington, and Zach Zenner. Forsett has ties to Broncos HC Gary Kubiak, but seems unlikely to resurface this late in the season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:26 pm

  • Carroll: Rawls to 'get the ball quite a bit'
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Thomas Rawls will "get the ball quite a bit" Week 13 against the Panthers.

Advice: Sore coming out of his first game action since Week 2, Rawls only saw 12 carries in the loss to the Bucs, although game flow was the biggest factor in his lack of touches. Seattle will hope for a better offensive performance at home against the Panthers this week, which will allow them to get Rawls more involved. Even in a very tough matchup, Rawls is a solid RB2. Latavius Murray (ankle) is questionable for Week 13 against the Bills.

Advice: Murray should be ready to roll against Buffalo after putting in a limited week of practice. Despite ranking only 23rd in the league in carries, Murray is tied for fourth with nine rushing touchdowns this season. He'll be in the RB2 mix this week. Rotoworld.com Friday, 1:32 pm

Theo Riddick (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 13.

Advice: Riddick went through another "limited" practice week, but he's in no danger of sitting out against the Saints. The style of that game suits Riddick's skill set. He's an intriguing DFS play on full-PPR sites. Rotoworld.com Friday, 1:30 pm

  • Mark Ingram on Week 13 status: 'We'll see'
Despite returning to practice Friday, Mark Ingram (toe, questionable) was noncommittal when asked about his Week 13 availability.

Advice: "We'll see," said Ingram, adding that his Wednesday and Thursday absences from practice were due to "soreness" in the toe. Ingram said the toe "felt good" during Friday's practice. Still, it's conceivable his role is scaled back a bit on Sunday, with Tim Hightower shouldering more of the load. Reports on Ingram's toe will be worth monitoring closely into Sunday morning. • Mark Ingram (toe) back at practice on Friday
Mark Ingram (toe) returned to Saints practice Friday.

Advice: Ingram sat out Wednesday and Thursday's sessions. His Friday return is a strong indication Ingram will be good to go against the Lions, where he has earned borderline RB1 treatment by averaging over eight yards per carry over his last four games. Tim Hightower will stay heavily involved, and could even out-touch Ingram on Sunday. The Saints have been riding the "hot hand" in games. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:16 am

  • T.J. Yeldon's (ankle) workload up in the air
Coach Gus Bradley admitted T.J. Yeldon's (ankle) Week 13 workload will be a game-time decision.

Advice: Chris Ivory (hamstring) being ruled out has put Yeldon on the fantasy map against a mediocre Broncos run defense. But Yeldon isn't 100 percent himself and figures to be unable to carry a full load after rushing just six times for 17 yards in Ivory's absence last week. Advice: Allen Hurns (hamstring) has also been ruled out, while Julius Thomas (back) is listed doubtful. With Ivory out, T.J. Yeldon figures to get the start. He wasn't 100 percent last week coming off an ankle issue and missed some practice time earlier this week. Yeldon and Denard Robinson should form a timeshare. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:18 am

Ryan Mathews (knee) has been ruled out for Week 13 against the Bengals.

  • Matt Asiata totals 27 yards vs. Cowboys
Matt Asiata rushed six times for 30 yards in the Vikings' Week 13 loss to the Cowboys.

Advice: Asiata "added" one catch for -3 yards. At one point, Asiata took a handoff out of the Wild Cat formation. It was that kind of night for the Vikings. Asiata will remain a touchdown-or-bust RB4/FLEX against the Jags in Week 14. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:16 pm

Jerick McKinnon caught 5-of-6 passes for 14 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings' Week 13 loss to the Cowboys, adding nine rushes for 41 yards.

Advice: The 55 total yards were McKinnon's third most of the year, which tells you a lot about his season behind the Vikings' horrid offensive line. McKinnon was essentially untouched on his late three-yard touchdown. Still more or less splitting snaps with Matt Asiata, McKinnon will continue to lack upside for next week's trip to Jacksonville. • Ezekiel Elliott totals 105 yards vs. Vikings
Ezekiel Elliott rushed 20 times for 86 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' Week 13 win over the Vikings, adding four receptions for 19 additional yards.

Advice: Elliott also lost a fumble, but had it narrowly overturned on review. He could have had a bigger night, but had a 43-yard rumble called back by a silly RT Doug Free penalty. Running lanes were hard to come by against the Vikings' elite defense, but Elliott still did a great job of not getting cut down behind the line. He's now cleared 100 yards from scrimmage in 9-of-12 games. He's been held below 80 yards once all season. With 10 days to rest, Elliott will eat against the Giants next Sunday night. Advice: Per a source with "knowledge of the situation," Peterson "badly" wants to return, but the fading Vikings could decide against it if they're out of the playoff race. Coleman was quiet last week against the Cardinals, his first game action since Week 7, but he should pick it up as he gets back into game shape. Advice: Even cruising to the No. 1 seed, the Cowboys have continued to feed the rookie the last several weeks. Perhaps that will change if they are able to lock everything up before Week 17, but for now it appears as if Elliott will continue to see 20-plus touches a game, making him an elite RB1 play in all matchups including this Thursday against the Vikings. • Ty Montgomery a non-factor in Week 12 win
Ty Montgomery rushed one time for two yards and caught 2-of-2 targets for 12 yards in the Packers' Week 12 win over the Eagles.

  • Gillislee expected back against Raiders
Bills coach Rex Ryan said Monday he expects Mike Gillislee (hamstring) to return for Week 13 against the Raiders.

Advice: Ryan said "everything looks good," and Gillislee is "on track to return" after missing Week 12 due to a hamstring injury he suffered in practice. Gillislee should retake breather-back duties from Jonathan Williams behind LeSean McCoy. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:50 pm

  • Texans expect RB Miller (ankle) to be 'fine'
Texans coach Bill O'Brien said Monday he expects Lamar Miller to be "fine" after Miller limped off the field with an ankle injury in Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Chargers.

Advice: Miller has battled an ankle injury since before the Texans' bye week. He appeared to potentially aggravate it late in Sunday's game, but it sounds like he'll be ready to go for Week 13 against the Packers. Nevertheless, early-career concerns about Miller's ability to handle heavy workloads have continued into his first season as a true bellcow back. Although Miller has not missed any games, he has frequently battled nicks and bruises and he isn't hitting many big plays. Miller's decision to add weight in the offseason was not the answer. • Giants mum on Vereen's status for some reason
Speaking Monday, Giants coach Ben McAdoo refused to say whether Shane Vereen (triceps, injured reserve) was ready to resume practicing.

Advice: "We'll wait and see," McAdoo said. "We'll take a look at that." Evidently the progress of the Giants' injured third-down back is a closely-guarded competitive secret. The G-Men are reportedly targeting a Week 14 return. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:45 am

  • Mark Ingram plays 57% of snaps Week 12
Mark Ingram played 42-of-74 (57%) snaps Week 12 against the Rams.

Advice: Ingram had two fewer touches than Tim Hightower, but he out-snapped him 42-to-25. Minus his injury-shortened effort against the Panthers, Ingram's snap percentage has been on the rise over the last month. Back in the driver's seat in the Saints' backfield, Ingram will be an upside RB2 this week against the Lions. Rotoworld.com Nov 28, 6:11 am

  • Latavius totals 88 yards, TD in Week 12 win
Latavius Murray rushed 19 times for 45 yards and one touchdown in the Raiders' Week 12 win over the Panthers.

Advice: He caught 3-of-4 targets for 43 yards. Murray has been battling a bit of an ankle issue for weeks now, but his volume has steadied over that same span. He's handling all early-down work with Jalen Richard acting as the COP back. Murray has seen at least 18 carries in 3-of-5 games and is getting more involved as a pass catcher. His touchdown came from four yards out on Sunday after a 30-yard Johnny Holton catch. Murray will be a fine RB2 play next week against the Bills. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 5:06 pm

  • Thomas Rawls held in check in Week 12 loss
Thomas Rawls rushed 12 times for 38 yards Week 12 against the Bucs.

Advice: He failed to haul in his only target. Rawls was a victim of an offense which managed to convert one third down all game. Rawls had a couple nice runs on first downs in the first half, but he saw just four carries in the second and lost snaps to "George Farmer" late in the game. He will likely get more work next Sunday night against the Panthers, but that is a very tough matchup. Rawls will be a mid-range RB2 against Carolina. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 4:33 pm

  • Tevin Coleman totals 13 yards, TD in return
Tevin Coleman rushed eight times for nine yards and one touchdown in the Falcons' Week 12 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Coleman missed the previous three games with a hamstring injury. He didn't break off any big plays in this one, but Coleman was able to find the end zone from two yards out in the third quarter. Coleman could have had a bigger day, catching two passes for just four yards, but on one of them he fell down at the six-yard line where he could have easily walked into the end zone untouched. Coleman and Devonta Freeman will continue to split work, and both will be RB2 options next week at home against the Chiefs. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 1:53 pm

  • Lamar Miller limps off late in Week 12 loss
Lamar Miller limped off the field with an apparent ankle injury late in the Week 12 loss to the Chargers.

Advice: Miller has been dealing with a left ankle injury for several weeks, and he appeared to get it twisted on a short catch very late in the game. The Texans did not make an announcement, but he did not return. Miller was bottled up for most of the game, gaining just 57 yards on 19 carries and 18 yards on three catches. He did get loose for a couple long gains off the left side in the third quarter, but he lost a fumble at the end of one. He also was stopped at the one-inch line in the first half only to see Brock Osweiler vulture him on a sneak the very next play. If healthy, Miller should be able to have more success against the Packers, but he will be a name to watch all week. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 1:50 pm

  • Yeldon gets 7 touches in Week 12
T.J. Yeldon rushed six times for 17 yards and caught 1-of-2 targets for three yards in the Jaguars' Week 12 loss to the Bills.

Advice: Chris Ivory's (hamstring) first-half exit didn't thrust Yeldon into the Jaguars' feature back role; Jacksonville wound up giving Denard Robinson more carries (13). Yeldon was unable to practice all week due to an ankle injury. Regardless of Ivory's health, this will be a backfield to avoid in Week 13 against Denver. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 1:49 pm

  • Mark Ingram (167 yds, 2 TDs) destroys Rams
Mark Ingram rushed 14 times for 146 yards and one touchdown while securing one-of-two targets for 21 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the Saints' Week 12 win over the Rams.

Advice: Just 10 days removed from a concussion, Ingram faced zero resistance on Sunday. He set the tone by breaking a slew of tackles for an 18-yard gain on his first carry of the afternoon. Later in the half, he scored a 10-yard touchdown on a fourth-down conversion. He only had one man to beat after taking the toss from Drew Brees in the backfield. Ingram embarrassed the Rams again on 61-yard burst in the third quarter. He found the end zone again three plays later, this time on a 21-yard screen pass on third-and-long. After enduring some lean weeks early in the year, Ingram has again solidified himself as a weekly RB2 in fantasy. He gets the Lions at home in Week 13. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 1:35 pm

The Giants are hopeful Shane Vereen (triceps, I.R.) will return for Week 14.

Advice: The Giants' passing-down back, Vereen tore his triceps in Week 3. His placement on I.R. cost him the ensuing eight-plus weeks, but the Giants remained hopeful for a late-season return and it appears Vereen will indeed be back in a few weeks. Advice: The injury prevented him from practicing this week. Ivory should get close to a full workload in the likely event that Yeldon sits. Ivory is No. 30 in RotoPat's Week 12 running back rankings. Denard Robinson would slide in as Ivory's backup. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 5:29 am

Advice: Mathews was not able to practice at all this week after picking up an MCL sprain against the Seahawks. Considering his injury history and the nature of the issue, it would not be surprising if he misses multiple games. • Saints list Ingram (concussion) as questionable
Mark Ingram (concussion) is questionable for Week 12 against the Rams.

Advice: He practiced all week but still hasn't officially passed the concussion protocol. Tim Hightower would draw the start if Ingram isn't cleared by Sunday. Ingram will be a borderline RB2 if he plays this week. Daily Slant: Los Angeles’ defensive line has been excellent at stopping the run this season. Football Outsiders ranks them 1st in adjusted line yards per carry (3.11). Plus, Ingram will be stuck in a timeshare with Hightower. Targeting the Saints passing game is a better way to get exposure on their offense. Drew Brees will pick on corner E.J. Gaines, who has a 38.2 grade from Pro Football Focus this season, the third worst score in the league. Michael Thomas will draw Gaines on over half of his routes, while Brandin Cooks will have tougher matchups with Trumaine Johnson (79 PFF grade) and Lamarcus Joyner (81.6) on 74% of his routes. Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns 20 carries in the Cowboys' 31-26, Week 12 win over the Redskins on Thanksgiving.

Advice: The 76 yards from scrimmage were McKinnon's second most of the season, but still not nearly enough for the Vikings' struggling offense. McKinnon also got vultured by Matt Asiata for the Vikes' only goal-line score. Running behind the league's worst line, McKinnon has proven incapable of creating yards of his own. Riddick was much less effective than usual as a pass catcher, averaging 2.6 yards per grab. He was getting chopped down by Minnesota the second he caught the ball.
