Shepard agreed to a one-year contract with the Buccaneers on Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Advice: Shepard spent the past eight years with the Giants, playing 90 of a possible 131 regular-season games. He's had a hard time staying healthy for years now, but until last season he consistently drew targets whenever available. After catching just 10 passes in 15 games last season, the 31-year-old will compete for a depth role with Tampa Bay. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:35 am

    • Buccaneers ink Sterling Shepard to one-year deal
Buccaneers signed WR Sterling Shepard, formerly of the Giants, to a one-year contract.

Advice: The oft-injured Shepard suited up for 15 games last season after appearing in just 10 games the previous two seasons. Unfortunately, he didn’t see many chances to contribute, running just 90 routes on the year while catching 10-of-21 targets for 57 yards and a touchdown. Shepard suffered a torn ACL in 2022 and a torn Achilles in 2021 and has dealt with a myriad of other injuries throughout his career. He now reunites with former college teammate Baker Mayfield and may offer some value as added depth if he’s able to make the 53-man roster. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:27 am

    • Stands out during OTAs
Parker has been impressive this spring and is well on his way to earning a roster spot, John Shipley of SI.com reports.

Advice: The 2023 sixth-round pick didn't play much through the first three months of his rookie year but then got a look as the No. 3 receiver after Christian Kirk suffered a season-ending injury. Washington played at least 25 snaps in each of Jacksonville's final six games, catching 16 of 21 targets for 132 yards and two touchdowns in that stretch. He'll likely enter the upcoming season somewhere between third and fifth on the depth chart at wide receiver, with his initial role partially depending on the development of rookie first-round pick Brian Thomas. Jaguars coach Doug Pederson said Monday that Washington has "had a really good offseason" so far. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:34 am

    • Re-signs with Kansas City
Hardman is re-signing with the Chiefs on a one-year contract, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Hardman left Kansas City for the Jets last offseason but then was traded back to the Chiefs in mid-October after failing to earn a major role in New York. He had a 52-yard reception and a game-ending touchdown in the Super Bowl against San Francisco, making the most of his 19 snaps on offense. Hardman figures to work as a depth receiver again in 2024, and he might also get a chance to returns punts and/or kicks. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:03 am

    • Chiefs bringing back Super Bowl hero Hardman
Chiefs re-signed WR Mecole Hardman to a one-year contract.

Advice: Hardman split 2023 between the Jets and Chiefs, totaling 15 receptions for 124 scoreless yards in the regular season. Hardman’s biggest moment came in the Super Bowl when he found the end zone on a three-yard pass from Patrick Mahomes for a walk-off touchdown to down the 49ers 25-22. Hardman’s offensive production has dropped off significantly over the last two years, and he shouldn’t be considered a lock to make the 53-man roster. However, his experience on special teams in a league that’s hoping to have more kick returns in 2024 could add to his value. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:41 am

    • Finds work in Tampa Bay
Thompson agreed to a contract with the Buccaneers on Wednesday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: With Deven Thompkins (hamstring) recently landing on injured reserve, Thompson will give the Bucs another veteran wideout to serve as a camp body. In 12 career games with the Seahawks from 2021 through 2023, Thompson has recorded just one reception for 10 yards. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 5:31 pm

    • Buccaneers signing WR Cody Thompson
Buccaneers signed WR Cody Thompson, formerly of the Seahawks.

Advice: Thompson has spent the last four season with the Seahawks, contributing mainly on special teams and splitting time between the active roster and practice squad. He made his first career catch last season for 10 yards, but was seldom used offensively. The Buccaneers had waived receiver and special-teamer Deven Thompkins with an injury designation last week and now replace him with Thompson. Rotoworld Wednesday, 4:42 pm

    • Cut by Jags
The Jaguars waived White (knee) with an injury designation Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Advice: The move comes as no surprise, as White suffered a torn ACL on Monday and is expected to miss most, if not all, of the 2024 season. If White clears waivers, he'll revert to Jacksonville's injured reserve list. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:25 pm

    • Dealing with illness
Nailor missed the first two days of Minnesota's mandatory minicamp with an illness, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

Advice: According to Lewis, Nailor was a standout performer during the first few days of OTAs, but an illness is now compromising his ability to carry that momentum into minicamp. The 25-year-old wide receiver appeared in just six games for Minnesota last season, catching three of his six targets for 29 yards while playing 94 total offensive snaps. Once Nailor moves past the illness, he's expected to compete for a depth role in the Minnesota wideout room behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:54 pm
