• Cowboys hosting Giants on Thanksgiving
Cowboys will host the Giants on Thanksgiving day.

Advice: The Cowboys will play their annual Thanksgiving game against the NFC East rival Giants. Jerry Jones wanted to go “all in” on the Cowboys this season, and they are running it back with head coach Mike McCarthy and quarterback Dak Prescott leading the team. Ezekiel Elliott will return to the team, putting the Salvation Army kettle on high alert. Meanwhile, the Giants are expected to start Daniel Jones after a frustrating 2023. Malik Nabers will be an exciting receiver to watch, but it will be difficult to trust any other Giant for fantasy. Fantasy managers will be eyeing Prescott and CeeDee Lamb the most this Thanksgiving. • Panthers to play Giants in Germany
Panthers to face Giants in Munich, Germany for Week 10.

Advice: The NFL returns to Germany this season, with the Panthers and Giants playing in Munich for Week 10. Bryce Young will experience his first international game while the Giants, presumably starting Daniel Jones, will play their fourth ever international game. Both teams were among the worst in the league last season with frustrating 2023 campaigns. The Panthers will look to build upon Young and other highly-selected offensive weapons like Xavier Legette and Jonathon Brooks. The Giants hope to get a better return on their investment in Daniel Jones in this lone Germany matchup. Rotoworld Wednesday, 5:21 pm

  • Commanders sign WR Damiere Byrd
Commanders signed WR Damiere Byrd, formerly of the Falcons, to a one-year contract.

Advice: Byrd had a cup of coffee on the Texans’ practice squad at the end of the 2023 season but saw his only action while on the Falcons last year. He appeared in one game and logged 18 snaps on offense. Byrd was a rotational receiver for Atlanta in 2022, totaling 268 yards and two scores across 14 games. Byrd’s previous experience as a kick and punt returner could be useful to the Commanders, though he is still a long-shot to make the team. Rotoworld Wednesday, 2:37 pm

  • Moves to IR
Brown (undisclosed) reverted to the Panthers' injured reserve list Monday, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Advice: Brown spent two stints with the Panthers' practice squad in 2023 but was never elevated to the active roster. He signed with Carolina as an undrafted free agent in 2021 and played in three games over the next two seasons, recording nine carries for 43 yards. Rotowire.com Monday, 4:44 pm

  • FOX: Cowboys visiting Browns in Week 1
FOX Sports’ Michael Strahan announced that the Cowboys will visit the Browns in Week 1.

Advice: Perhaps bigger than the game itself is who will be calling the game, as this is set to be Tom Brady’s broadcasting debut. The future Hall of Famer, who retired at the end of the 2022 season, to become their next in-game analyst whenever he was ready to do so. He’ll be tasked with calling a game between a Cowboys team led by Dak Prescott in a potential contract year, as they take on the Browns, who hope 2024 is the year the trade for Deshaun Watson finally pays off. • Leaving Carolina
The Panthers waived Brown (undisclosed) with an injury designation Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Advice: Brown didn't see the field in 2023, and after Carolina added talent at running back in the draft, it has now decided to cut him loose. He'll revert to injured reserve assuming he clears waivers. Rotowire.com Friday, 2:47 pm

  • Finally gets No. 3 receiver
Tagovailoa's top wide receivers, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, will be joined in 2024 by Odell Beckham, who signed a one-year contract with the Dolphins on Wednesday.

Advice: Miami added offensive tackle Patrick Paul in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft to help Tagovailoa stay upright, a key move following the departure of Robert Hunt to Carolina, but the team's only notable skill-position pickups this offseason were sixth-round wideout Malik Washington and fourth-round running back Jaylen Wright. Adding an experienced veteran in Beckham should finally provide Miami's offense with a reliable third starting wideout, something the team has lacked since head coach Mike McDaniel's arrival in 2022. As Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com notes, beyond the top tandem of Hill and Waddle, no receiver has logged more than 32 catches or 417 yards in the McDaniel era. The arrival of Beckham, and to a lesser degree, tight end Jonnu Smith, promises to finally provide Tagovailoa with more reliable playmakers beyond his top two options. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:14 am
