• Back with Pittsburgh
The Steelers signed Wright on Wednesday.

Advice: Wright, who has had previous stints with the Steelers since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2019, has also spent time with the Falcons, Panthers, Lions, Patriots and 49ers. Now that the well-traveled 28-year-old kicker is back with Pittsburgh, he'll provide the team with depth behind top option Chris Boswell. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:04 pm

  • Steelers sign K Matthew Wright
Steelers signed K Matthew Wright, formerly of the Panthers.

Advice: Wright spent time with four different teams in 2023 but only took the field in one game. In his second stint with the Panthers, Wright failed to connect on his only attempt in Week 18. Wright signed with the Steelers as a UDFA in 2019 and has been on the team’s roster or practice squad in three separate seasons. He will provide the team with an extra leg this summer but isn’t going to unseat Chris Boswell as Pittsburgh’s kicker. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:30 pm
