Week 11

  • Sorelosers
  • 151.02 pts, 6-5
  • Weekly Grade
  • Big worm
  • 96 pts, 5-6
  • Weekly Grade

Sorelosers left it all on the field in this one and got the highest score of the week to bulldoze Big worm 151.02 to 96.00. While Big worm (5-6) is only a game back of Sorelosers (6-5), they're quite a bit farther behind in points, 1,437.78 to 1,294.80. Big worm definitely shouldn't plan a trip to Vegas. Their luck couldn't get any worse as they are on a three-game losing streak. Adding insult to injury, Big worm had a starter score zero points (Christine Michael).

Smooth Moves by Sorelosers

  • If this were a dream sequence, you'd hear a deep voice announce, "Sorelosers, the Toyota Hall of Famer." But it's not.
  • Coaches always preach that projections go out the window when the ball is kicked off. The Detroit Lions Defense was a true testament to this, scoring 166.1% of their projected score, the highest percentage among the two teams.
  • One of these days the prognosticators will give Aaron Rodgers his due props. He ranked fifth in the league in scoring with 29.32 points against a projected 17.77 and has now overachieved in five straight games.
  • Sat TE Lance Kendricks on the bench, where he had the lowest TE score on the team with 5.80 points.
  • The 22.20 points scored by Rishard Matthews was the fourth-highest score by a WR in the league this week.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • It's okay to regret not taking a sick day to study the Toyota Hall of Fame's articles. But it's not okay to do it again.
  • The New England Patriots Defense, which Big worm picked up this week, scored below their 9.60-point projection with 6.00 points.
  • Who needs offense when the defense is so dominant!? Big worm got outscored 19.00 - 6.00 by Sorelosers at the DEF position.
  • Big worm had 5 of their 9 starters score less than their projected points.
  • Did not take Christine Michael (0 points) out of the starting lineup this week.

What If

  • If Sorelosers played Big worm every week, they would be 6-5 this season.
  • Sorelosers would've been undefeated if they played every team in the league this week.
  • If they played the same schedule as Big worm, Sorelosers would be 6-4.
  • If Sorelosers had played every team in the league each week, they would be 78-43.
  • Big worm would have lost to seven other teams besides Sorelosers this week.
  • And they say procrastination doesn't pay off! Had they played each other last week, Sorelosers would have lost to Big worm 122.92 - 109.12.
  • If they played the same schedule as Sorelosers, Big worm would be 7-3.
  • Big worm would be 72-49 if they played every team every week.
