Led by a Pair of Bengals, JudahBuddha’s Team Have Nowhere to go But Up

Draft Summary

Despite getting the No. 4 overall pick, JudahBuddha’s Team drafted a roster that may have trouble picking up wins. Opponents will enjoy overwhelming them on a weekly basis, as this team is projected to finish 10th in Eat My Cecil Shorts. Behind multiple Bengals in the early rounds (Joe Mixon and Tee Higgins), JudahBuddha’s Team are predicted to have a record of 4-10 (2,149 points).

  • Rhamondre Stevenson

Biggest Steal

What a late-round value for JudahBuddha’s Team, who picked up Stevenson in the 15th round, about four rounds later than his ADP of 127. Stevenson is projected to score 90 fantasy points with the Patriots, making him the No. 6 RB for this squad.

  • Tee Higgins

Going out on a Limb

There are thousands of self-declared fantasy experts nowadays, so there's no telling what led you to select Higgins with the 4th pick of the 5th round, about 20 spots earlier than his ADP of 72. Then again, you could be onto something? Projected to score 212 fantasy points this season with the Bengals, he seems poised to top his rookie year when he recorded 67 receptions for 908 yards and 6 TDs to earn 161 fantasy points. Higgins will slot in as the No. 3 WR for JudahBuddha’s Team, based on projected points.

Draft Notes

  • JudahBuddha’s Team seem especially thin at quarterback, taking fewer than any team in the league with just one, lagging the league average of 2.

  • JudahBuddha’s Team face a tough task in Week 10 when they have four players on a bye (Joe Mixon, Tee Higgins, Ja'Marr Chase, and Phillip Lindsay). Your Week 10 opponent, EST, will have a full squad with no players on the sideline.

  • JudahBuddha’s Team have one of the toughest schedules in Eat My Cecil Shorts this season based on projected records with a strength of schedule rated as the 2nd-most difficult. But don't lose hope. Strength of schedule says nothing about how active you are. There are a number of methods to keep improving throughout the season as long as you remain active.

  • Even with unfilled slots at QB and TE in the 6th round, JudahBuddha’s Team drafted WR Odell Beckham Jr. at No. 69, filling the WR/RB/TE flex position rather than a more important position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
