Your 2011 Glory Bowl sees two teams both fighting for their first Glory Bowl title; The Trolls in their first Glory Bowl appearance, and Radu’s Crew in their second title game (2008).
Both teams were apart of a 3 way tie for the best record in the league this season. The Trolls scored the 1st most points this season, and Radu’s Crew scored the 5th most. In their only matchup this season (Week 6), Radu’s Crew was victorious by a score of 76.12 - 77.82 . These teams have met once before in the playoffs, with Radu’s Crew defeating The Trolls by a score of 148-92 in the 2008 Semi-Finals. All Time: Radu’s Crew is 6-1 against The Trolls.


Lastly, it's been a good season so far, and hopin for a good final.

One thing people. Ive been thinking we should all get together to watch a game or something, kind of an end of the year league gathering kind of thing. We should aim for like a playoff game maybe or something, but anyone who’s around Hamilton on Monday and wants to chill for like an unofficial league gathering ( as in the whole league wont necessarily be there but all are welcome ) we should watch the game somewhere.

Week 15 / Semi-Final FF Notes

Here we go folks, Week 15, the semi final of the 2011 fantasy playoffs. One week away from Glory Bowl.

This is quite a Week 15 slate. We’ve got 2 good matchups. 3 out of 4 semi finalists (Radu’s Crew, Poxinators, Blazers ) have appeared in a Glory Bowl before, which means that at least one team ( and potentially two ) will become the first to appear in two championships. As well, there is potential for our first ever Glory Bowl rematch (Radu’s Crew vs The Poxinators, 2008).


Radu's Crew (8-5, Avg PF: 104.31 ) (Playoffs: 2-1) vs The Blazers (8-5, Avg PF: 105.54 ) (Playoffs: 2-1 )

Radu's Crew finished tied for best record in the league, though ended up with the 3rd seed. Radu’s Crew looks to make their second ever Glory Bowl, after losing to The Poxinators in 2008. The Blazers won the division based on tiebreaker. The Blazers look to go to their 2nd Glory Bowl game in just their second season in the league, after losing last year’s final to The Steel Curtain. The public (as of 3 PM ) is voting 4-0 in favour of Radu's Crew, who Yahoo projects to win by 14. The Blazers are 3-1 all time against Radu’s Crew, though this is their first playoff meeting. This season, in Week 2 The Blazers were victorious by a score of 110.70 - 163.22 , and in Week 8 Radu’s Crew was victorious by a score of 106.56 - 104.52 .


The Poxinators (7-6, Avg PF: 104.53) (Playoffs: 3-2) vs The Trolls (8-5, Avg PF: 109.69) (Playoffs: 0-2)

The Poxinators are 5-2 all time against The Trolls, and this is their first playoff meeting. The Poxinators, the 5th seed, look to reach their second career Glory Bowl, after winning against Radu’s Crew in 2008. The Trolls look to appear in their first ever Glory Bowl. The public as of 3 pm is voting 2-1 in favour of the Poxinators, who are projected to win by 3. The Poxinators are 5-2 all time against The Trolls, and this is their first playoff meeting. This season, in Week 8 The Poxinators defeated The Trolls by a score of 99.38 - 109.20 .


Should be a crazy week to set up the championship!

Hey everyone, welcome to another better late than never edition of the ff season notes. What an exciting week 4 we have coming. Some divisional matchups, as the undefeated The Trolls (3-0), take on the winless Bangle Tanks (0-3). The Brady Bunch (1-2) will take on The Squishers (2-1). Welcome 2011

Hello everyone, welcome to another fun year of Fantasy Football. Stoked that football is finally back, and also you're all going down this year!

One quick thing, I had to switch the setting for how the weekly waivers work, and by change I mean fix it to what it was last season, I beleive. Basically I'm trying to avoid having nobody able to pick up free agents after a Thursday game. I beleive this setting is the correct one, though we may have to change it if it doesn't work the way I understand it to do.

To fix it, I may have to delete the league, re-create it and invite everyone again, enter draft results, etc. I'll do this, and then re-do all the moves you guys have made over last 4 days, re-adjust waiver priorities (ie. based on Radu's waiver claim) put Heyward-Bey on Brady Bunch, Hightower on Redskins, etc.

Yeah so whats up, draft is over and pretty much the season has started. Just reminder on new trade procedure.
I'll post a topic for any accepted trade. If the trade is an example of collusion, of obvious player dumping, etc, reply with "Veto". 5 vetoes necessary, underscoring serious nature required for a veto.

Welcome! Alright, everybody has officially joined the league. Right now it looks like our tentative draft date is more than likely going to be Saturday August 13th, though I will be working hard over the next few days to get settled on a hard date for everyone to plan around.

We also have to settle a few things for next season, which we could do on facebook or in the nifty new message system on the League page.
