In a stunning display of dominance, AfterDeath secured a win in Week 15 of the Texas Swimming. Taking the lead on Thursday and never looking back, AfterDeath finished with a remarkable score of 237.84, surpassing their projected score of 173.31. With an A+ grade, they proved that they are a force to be reckoned with.
AfterDeath's star player, James Cook, delivered an outstanding performance, scoring an impressive 49.60 points and surpassing their projected score by 11.68 points. On the other hand, A.J. Brown failed to live up to expectations, falling short of their projected score by 6.79 points and scoring a disappointing 6.85 points.
With this victory, AfterDeath improves their record to 7-7-0, currently standing at 7th place in the league. Meanwhile, Neo's Crew, with a C+ grade, couldn't match AfterDeath's exceptional performance. Despite a valiant effort from Kyren Williams, who scored 33.75 points and exceeded their projected score by 16.17 points, Neo's Crew fell short. With a record of 10-4-0, they currently hold the 2nd place in the standings.
Looking ahead to next week, AfterDeath will face off against New Empire in the semifinals. With their recent victory, AfterDeath has momentum on their side, and they should use it to their advantage. As for Neo's Crew, they will be competing against TOUCHDOWN MONKEYS in the consolation semifinals. Although they didn't come out on top this week, Neo's Crew should regroup and strategize to secure a win in the upcoming matchup.
