In a one-sided matchup, Mojo Jojo proved their dominance by scoring a whopping 154.32 points, leaving Automatic in the dust with their meager 114.06 points. Mojo Jojo took the lead early on Thursday and never looked back. It seems like Automatic's D+ grade was a clear indicator of their impending doom.
Automatic's best player, Jordan Love, exceeded expectations by scoring 23.96 points, beating their projection of 15.25. However, their worst player, James Cook, fell short of their 13.15 projection, only scoring 5 points. On the other hand, Mojo Jojo's best player, Breece Hall, had a stellar performance, surpassing their projection of 13.20 with an impressive 37.1 points. Unfortunately, Mojo Jojo's worst player, Sam LaPorta, couldn't quite live up to their 9.61 projection, only managing to score 3.3 points.
With this win, Mojo Jojo improves their record to 7-8-0, while Automatic's disappointing season continues with a record of 5-10-0. Mojo Jojo currently holds the 5th spot in the standings, while Automatic remains at the bottom in 8th place. It's safe to say that Mojo Jojo is having the last laugh this season.
Looking ahead, Mojo Jojo will face off against Kings Life's Superb Team in the 5th place game next week. Will they continue their winning streak and secure a higher spot in the league? As for Automatic, they will be battling it out against Joseph's Splendid Team in the 7th place game. Can they redeem themselves and salvage some pride in their final matchup? Only time will tell, but Automatic should definitely reconsider their strategies and make some bold moves if they want to avoid another disappointing defeat.
